A bit off-key, Lowkey. Artists? Music maulers? Bob Dylan and Bob Marley?

Early Life and Visits

  • Zionist Camp: Dylan grew up as Robert Zimmerman and attended a Jewish summer camp with a Zionist focus.
  • First Visit: He visited Israel for the first time in 1969.
  • Western Wall: He went to the Western Wall in Jerusalem during later trips in the 1970s.

Internationally-acclaimed reggae musician in his own right, Ziggy Marley, son of legend Bob Marley, has come under fire from some sections of the reggae, Rastafari, Black Nationalist and “Black Conscious” circles because of his public expressions of support for the State of Israel in its ongoing conflict with Hamas-ruled Gaza. The criticism exposes an antisemitic streak in such circles, with the younger Marley accused of betraying the reggae, Rastafarian, Black Nationalist and “Black Conscious” movements that his father brought together into intersecting groups with his lyrics. It also clothes this antisemitism in the context of Pan Africanism, Black Nationalism etc, and makes it intrinsic to such movements.

Has Ziggy Marley Betrayed The Revolution? asks Prof. Fred Zindi in his In The Groove column for newspaper, The Zimbabwe Independent. The accomplished musicologist, promoter, producer, composer, journalist, critic, university lecturer and author is of the view that the October 7 attacks are simply a case of Israel getting a bit of what she has been dishing out to the Palestinians for decades. He recalls meeting Ziggy when Bob Marley And The Wailers came to perform at the Zimbabwean Independence ceremony in 1980. He asked Ziggy, then aged ten, if he intended to follow in his father’s footsteps as a revolutionary singer. His response was “Yeah, man!” “So signing a petition in support of Israel is not what one expects from a Jamaican-born revolutionary and son of Bob Marley given the history for Israel and the Palestinians since 1948,” Zindi writes.

Now largely out of print, Pan Africanism and Zionism: Political Movements In Polarity (1995) by Toks Adwale reinforced to a Pan African intelligentsia the idea that the two nation-seeking movements are irreconcilably opposed.

Yep, another fucking crazed Jew African:

How The Two Movements Separated

Decolonisation began in Africa barely a few years after Israel’s own independence. Quoting from Herzl, Golda Meir, then Israel’s Foreign Minister, wasted no time in reaching out to the new African nations. In 1958, she visited Liberia, a country established by American descendants of African slaves, and attended Ghana’s Independence Anniversary celebrations, the only foreign cabinet minister invited the event. Israel sent technical teams to some 33 African countries, and hosted students. Israel donated a modest sum to the Organisation of African Unity at its formation in 1963. In her biography, My Life (1975), Meir touched on the historical link between the Zionist and Pan Africanist movements. Africa received her enthusiastically. In Liberia, the Gola people crowned her Queen. In Cote d’Ivoire, the band at a reception played My Yiddische Momme. In 1962, Israel voted at the UN in condemnation of South Africa’s policy of apartheid.

The End Of The Historical Friendship

While Israel continued to support the training and humanitarian programmes Golda Meir initiated, diplomatic relations with Sub-Saharan Africa took a nosedive not long after the formation of the Organisation of African Unity in 1963. The Arab speaking states of North Africa demanded that all members sever ties with Israel, or North Africa would leave the continental body in a huff. As Ethiopian Prime Minister Aklilu Habte-Wolde told an Israeli delegation at a March 4th 1968 meeting; “Ethiopia is interested in a strong Israel and Israel is interested in a strong Ethiopia. We have common interests and a common future. But the two states have their limitations, and each time we try to promote cooperation, the difference in approaches surfaces. Ethiopia is a Christian island in a Muslim sea, and the Muslims do not distinguish between religion and politics. They want to destroy Ethiopia. They are after us all the time, criticise us for having relations with Israel and follow our every move. The Egyptians especially follow every move. Ethiopia wants co-operation, but only under the cover of secrecy. Ethiopia is surrounded, and all her neighbours are preparing to tear her into pieces. If they find out about Assab, they will do everything to wipe out Ethiopia. The USA does nothing to help us face these dangers. The Americans do not care that the USSR will control the Red Sea. If the Arabs find out that we [Ethiopia and Israel] are together, they will be all over us before we build our force. They will also leave the OAU.’

May be an image of text that says 'Gaza Netanyahu seeks to strip citizenship from Israelis as threats to NAZA film directors intensify Israeli prime minister to pursue new laws as directors of Guardian- produced film face threats from far- right officials and activists'

Finally, I will be formally stripped of this genocidal psychotic national identity that was inflicted on me by being born in the wrong place to the worst nation on earth…

“Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that he would seek new laws allowing Israel to strip citizenship from people who “smear” Israeli soldiers, escalating the campaign against the Oscar-winning film-makers behind the Gaza documentary NAZA, who have faced threats from senior government and military officials and groups of far-right Israelis gathering outside their families’ homes.”

Netanyahu may want to think a little more about the wording of the new law. It isn’t the ‘smearers’ he is after; it is actually the very last truth tellers in the Jewish State.

Terror can be defined as the deliberate use or threat intended to create fear, in order to coerce or intimidate a group, or society, and thereby advance a political, ideological, or religious cause.

In the only Jewish ‘democracy’, terror is a state policy (not just against the indigenous), and this is consistent with the Judaic ‘Herem’ (excommunication) that made itself into the cancerous Western ‘cancel culture’.

My advice to humanity and the West in particular. Look at the Jewish State, examine its brutality, make sure you see the non-empathetic monster, the complete lack of ethics and morality, so you know what you need to cleanse yourself of.

The Thought Fox

I imagine this midnight moment’s forest:
Something else is alive
Beside the clock’s loneliness
And this blank page where my fingers move.

Through the window I see no star:
Something more near
Though deeper within darkness
Is entering the loneliness:

Cold, delicately as the dark snow
A fox’s nose touches twig, leaf;
Two eyes serve a movement, that now
And again now, and now, and now

Sets neat prints into the snow
Between trees, and warily a lame
Shadow lags by stump and in hollow
Of a body that is bold to come

Across clearings, an eye,
A widening deepening greenness,
Brilliantly, concentratedly,
Coming about its own business

Till, with a sudden sharp hot stink of fox
It enters the dark hole of the head.
The window is starless still; the clock ticks,
The page is printed.

The Peace Of Wild Things

When despair grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting for their light.
For a time, I rest in the grace of the world,
and am free.

Hi Paul,

“Is AI going to take my job?”

It’s a question on the minds of countless professionals worldwide. And generative AI technology like OpenAI’s ChatGPT — with its ability to write emails and songs, build apps, and more — has only intensified this concern. But while generative AI offers an impressive range of benefits to businesses across industries, it’s unlikely you’ll lose your job to it. You just need to learn how to work with it.

“Every job will be impacted by AI,” says Pieter den Hamer, the vice president of research at Gartner. “Most of that will be more augmentation rather than replacing workers.”1

The most successful professionals of the future will be those who can harness our increased connectivity with machines to augment business performance. Leaders who prioritize upskilling existing employees to work effectively with the technology will also gain an advantage. Many healthcare, customer services, and finance companies are already using generative AI to decrease costs, improve productivity, and increase revenue. The economic potential is huge: McKinsey has identified 63 generative AI use cases spanning 16 business functions that could deliver between $6.1 trillion to $7.9 trillion annually.2

Hey Paul,

We’ve written several stories about AI-generated music appearing under the name of real artists on Spotify. It’s a problem that’s been well documented, but today we are able to show exactly how easy it is to accomplish these scams.

-Emanuel

On September 10, the Brooklyn-based punk band Lathe of Heaven released a new single on its verified Spotify page called Riding High. Any fan of Lathe of Heaven would have immediately noticed that the song sounded nothing like the band’s previous work, that the vocals were not from lead singer Gage Allison, and that the album cover was widely different from the style and logo the band used previously.

That’s because Lathe of Heaven didn’t write, perform, or willingly release Riding High. I created the song with a simple prompt given to the AI music generator Udio, and I was able to release the track on Lathe of Heaven’s official Spotify page, as well as on its Apple Music, Tidal, and Amazon Music pages, without the band’s knowledge, by exploiting a glaring loophole in the way music is digitally distributed to streaming platforms.

“It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his AI twin makes sure he never understands it.”

“It is difficult to get a man to understand something when the Jew Digital Gage makes sure he never has a thought, a movement, a transaction, a purchase, a defecation, a doctor’s visit, a tax paid, a class passed/failed, a choice made, which are not tracked, parsed, AI analyzed, and thrown into the pre-crime blender and the pre-double think file cabinet by the JEW.”

Elon Musk called for the top artificial intelligence companies to work together and test each other’s models before they’re released to the public, as some of the industry’s leaders warn of the technology’s dangers and push for greater government regulation.

Speaking at the All-In Summit in Los Angeles on Monday, the SpaceX CEO said SpaceX’s xAI business, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta and “three or four of the leading Chinese companies” should let rivals run a “test harness” on their models to evaluate their safety.

Ellison pointed out that government agencies collect massive amounts of information but store it in thousands of separate databases, making it difficult to utilize.

“It’s not like ‘Go to this database and here’s all the data about my country,'” he said. “It’s ‘Go to these 3,000 databases and here’s all the data about my country.'”

His solution? Consolidate everything into one easily accessible system that AI can process to answer any question governments may have.
