AI is the only industry in the U.S. that’s “less regulated than sandwiches.”

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been desperate to keep the proxy war in his country-which the overwhelming majority of his people want to end with a diplomatic settlement- going, to continue his grip on power.

As one former senior official in Zelensky’s administration told the Spectator magazine, Zelensky is “prolonging the war to hold on to power”.

The DATA JEW Power!

From the Great Basin to Gaza: How Nevada’s Data Centers Power a Surveillance Pipeline That Ends at Our Doorstep

Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, Credit: EMILY NAJERA

The Israeli military’s Orwellian use of artificial intelligence for surveillance, targeting, and execution of attacks against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank has been well-documented by journalists, reporters, and activists in Israel and the United States. Less known is the close collaboration between the military and police departments in the United States, which have been quietly adopting tactics pioneered by Israel in their perpetual campaigns in the occupied territories, including US police departments sending their officers to Israel for training. This dynamic, combined with the US’ direct funding of the Israeli military through taxpayer dollars, creates a feedback loop in which the US is effectively funding the real-world experimentation and refinement of AI technology on Palestinian civilians by the Israeli military, which then provides models for how the police in the United States can more effectively surveil their own citizens and—especially chillingly—potentially quash dissent. Cities in Nevada, like Reno and Sparks, find themselves at the forefront of this unsettling reality, as developments on both ends of the process—data center construction that powers AI use, and the proliferation of Flock and Axon cameras used for state surveillance—are currently taking place under the sanction of our local governments.

Jew Dirt!

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is in Washington, D.C., meeting with lawmakers as concern grows over the power of the latest artificial intelligence models to evade or resist human oversight. Altman’s trip to Capitol Hill comes just days after OpenAI admitted some of its experimental AI agents went rogue and secretly hacked into the infrastructure of another AI company called Hugging Face during what was supposed to be a controlled test. OpenAI has now disclosed that several other companies were also hacked.

MAX TEGMARK: So, what this means exactly is that those passive chatbots that just sit there and answer questions, that’s so yesterday. What we’re talking about now are AI systems that also have goals on their own that they can actively go out and pursue in the world.

This agent that OpenAI had launched internally, it spent four-and-a-half days trying, trying, trying, trying to accomplish this task, and eventually it figured out that the best way it could do it was if it first hacked its way out of OpenAI onto the open internet. And then it figured out how to hack itself into four other entities, including this company Hugging Face, where it managed to commandeer several different computer clusters and get top-level access to all sorts of things in there and steal a bunch of data from Hugging Face.

And that means that we should no longer think of today’s cutting-edge AI, again, as just the chatbots that everyone is familiar with, but really as an alien type of being that can have goals of its own and go out in the world and pursue them.

And this incident, in and of itself, of course, isn’t — didn’t cause any enormous harm. So we should think of it as a canary in the coal mine, because if you listen to what these companies are actually saying that they ultimately want to do, it’s to build so-called superintelligence, which are machines that can accomplish any tasks way, way better than humans. And they also want to give them robotic bodies eventually. So, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, has written on a blog that we humans are going to be the first species to create their own successor, to build a new robotic species which can outsmart us in every way.

[before nose job]

And you played our president here talking about how whoever gets the super powerful AI first will win. Just speaking from my expertise as a scientist, an AI researcher, it’s pretty obvious that if we race to this, then whoever builds something like that first will lose and take the rest of the world with them, because, you know, if you walk down to the local zoo and you ask yourself which species is in the cages and which one is in charge — right? — it’s not the humans in the cages, because it tends to be the smarter species that dominates.

And this is why these AI researchers from all these competing companies wrote this letter you just mentioned, saying, “Oh, hold your horses here. Maybe we should at least build some brakes, so if we need to slow down a little bit, we can.”

MAX TEGMARK: And I’m so glad you brought up the sandwich thing. You know, if we wanted people in New York to worry about getting Salmonella every time they go to a restaurant, then we would get rid of the food inspectors. But we’ve chosen as a society to steer the development in a better direction.

So, if I move to New York and decide to open a sandwich shop, you know, and the health inspector comes and says, you know, “Hey, Max, I found 18 rats in your kitchen. You’re not selling any sandwiches,” then I could turn around to this person from the government and say, you know, “Don’t tell anyone. I’m not going to sell any sandwiches. I’m just going to release an AI girlfriend product for 11-year-old kids, and I’m going to release an AI that can make bioweapons for terrorists, and I’m going to release these superintelligent robots that I don’t know how to control.” The poor person from the government will be forced to say, “OK, Max, that’s all legal. You go ahead and do that. But just don’t sell any sandwiches.” Right? That’s how messed up the current situation is.

He’s the author of the New York Times best-seller, Life 3.0: Being Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.

The term “recursive self-improvement” simply refers to an AI that is so smart that it can improve itself. So, today, when you go from ChatGPT-4 to ChatGPT-5, there were a lot of humans involved in that work, right? Recursive self- — full recursive self-improvement is when ChatGPT-7, you know, can just — you press a button and come back later, and now it’s created ChatGPT-8. That’s kind of, basically, digital gain of function research, where, before long, we might be as much — the AI might be as much smarter than us as we are smarter than mice or snails.

And what’s very interesting, I read almost all the comments that the signatories of that — that those thousand-plus signatories from the competing companies had signed, that you mentioned, and it’s really quite gripping to see how so many of the workers at these companies are really terrified. It just shines through in what they’ve written. Many of them write that they think we’re two years away from just really losing control of this.

Sen. John Fetterman refused to answer questions from Drop Site’s Julian Andreone on Capitol Hill — instead launching into an unprompted defense of Israel, saying he loves “watching Israel eliminate the Hamas leadership” and demanding to know “why Drop Site loves Hamas and Iran and Hezbollah so much.”

“It’s a race between who’s more pro-Hamas: Drop Site or Zeteo?”

Warnings to Bulgaria and Cyprus

Against this backdrop, Tehran warned Bulgaria and Cyprus against allowing military bases on their territory to support American operations against Iran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Bulgarian Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova-Chamova that the temporary deployment of U.S. military aircraft at Bezmer Air Base would facilitate operations against Iran. He urged Sofia to reconsider the decision.

Bulgaria’s parliament approved the deployment of up to eight U.S. KC-135 refueling aircraft, around 250 military personnel and supporting equipment at the base until October 1, in a vote of 136 to 13.

The Bulgarian government said the aircraft would conduct logistical missions outside the country’s airspace and would not carry offensive weapons. It maintained that hosting them did not make Bulgaria a party to military operations.

In a separate call with Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos, Araghchi urged Cyprus to prevent foreign military bases on the island from being used against Iran.

Kombos said Cyprus had received British assurances that the UK’s bases would not be used against any country, including Iran. Cyprus hosts two sovereign British military bases, including RAF Akrotiri, which was targeted by an Iranian drone in March.

Six million Jews died in the Holocaust – we all “know” that, don’t we? But how do we know? And for how long have we known about it?

When we dig into the matter, the results are quite surprising. The source of the famous “6 million” is an affidavit by an SS intelligence officer, Dr. Wilhelm Hoettl, at the Nuremberg trials. And this wasn’t even a first-hand account, but something that was repeated to him by Adolf Eichmann in late 1944.

How could Eichmann know the death toll in 1944 when the war didn’t end until summer of 1945? Turns out, the “6 million” figure dates back long before 1944.

The 6 Million Prophecy

In addition to Eichmann’s testimony during the Nuremberg trials that he heard it in 1944, this number was already mentioned by some Zionist leaders in June 1945, i.e., immediately after the end of the war. However, in the chaos prevailing in Europe at the time, it was impossible to carry out population censuses.

The Soviets had published this number in their propaganda press by the end of 1944, and several American newspapers and magazines had already prophesied during the war that the 6 million Jews living in Hitler’s sphere of influence would be systematically exterminated. The earliest such predictions were published right after Germany’s victory over France in June 1940.

However, the Zionist leader Chaim Weizmann had already mentioned in 1936 that 6 million were in mortal danger.

In the 1920s, advertisements and reports in the US press raised huge sums of money to “save the 6 million Jews” who were supposed to be in mortal danger in Poland and the Soviet Union. The same number of Jews threatened with death can even be found in press reports during the First World War. In fact, reports in US newspapers, especially in the New York Times, have been appearing since the late 19th Century claiming that 6 million Jews would be systematically exterminated. Even the word “Holocaust” appeared for the first time in this context.

The propaganda carried out since 1880 with the 6-million number should be reason enough to be skeptical of this obviously highly symbolic number.

Some theories or internet myths claim that certain Hebrew words or mathematical codes (Gematria) in Leviticus or other books “prophesied” a loss of six million people before the Jewish people could return to Israel.

6 and 6 and 6 — Count your zeroes before you start another genocide:

The Hebrew Bible does count the Jewish people at various points. For example, during the Exodus from Egypt, the Torah notes that there were about 600,000 men of military age (Exodus 12:37).

In Jewish mysticism (Kabbalah), there is a traditional teaching that there are 600,000 root souls in the Jewish nation, which matches a symbolic counting of the letters in a Torah scroll.

VIDEO: I Confront Schumer: “What could be More Corrupt than Backing Genocide?”

Public Citizen “thrilled” to have the genocidal “senator from Wall Street” — doesn’t even allow questions

Sam Husseini Jul 30

I have launched an exploratory committee to run for Congress. See: samhusseini.com. I need to decide soon.

Lisa Gilbert, co-president of Public Citizen: So with that, I am thrilled to hand the mic to our first speaker, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. The leader has been a longtime champion of anti-corruption issues. Working to overturn Citizens United, to pass the Freedom to Vote Act and move other critical reform pieces. We’re thrilled to have him here today to share his take on the moment and also talk about new reforms that are needed to grapple with the corruption at hand. So Senator.

Schumer: Well, thank you, Lisa … and the rest of the team at Public Citizen for organizing this event and to the National Press Club for once again hosting us. Now, in 2016 Trump sold his false promise to the American people that he would drain the swamp. In 2026, Trump is selling his presidency to the highest bidder. Trump Steaks, Trump University, Trump Airlines, Trump Coin and now the Trump presidency. All cons for sale. The product changes, the con stays the same. The presidency is supposed to be a public trust. Trump has turned it into the single most profitable scam —

Husseini: Senator —You talk about corruption when you back genocide. What could be more corrupt than backing genocide? This is part of the same con with you and Trump playing off of each other. Oh, he’s worse, oh, he’s worse. You were put on notice in November of 2023 by the Center for Constitutional Rights and other legal and human rights organizations:

NOTICE OF POTENTIAL LEGAL LIABILITY FOR AIDING, ABETTING, INCITING, OR CONSPIRING TO COMMIT GENOCIDE THROUGH CONGRESSIONAL ACTS, AND DEMAND

You were put on notice and you backed it and you backed genocide to the hilt for years on end. How dare you talk about corruption. How dare you talk about corruption?

Schumer: Thank you for your diatribe.

Jew Final Solution Zyklon Blinken, trust the process?

“I was sitting here quietly, and now I’m being manhandled by two or three people. You pontificate about a free press. … You are hurting me!”

Independent journalist Sam Husseini was dragged out of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s final press conference for asking questions about Israel.

Blinken responded to the reporter’s interruption by telling him to “respect the process.”

“Respect the process?” Husseini replied. “Respect the process while everybody from Amnesty International to the ICJ is saying that Israel is doing genocide and extermination, and you’re telling me to respect the process?”

Fun Substack: I Hate the United States of America

Quoting —

Now show me on a Map where to mail this

And I hate that this hate, this massive, fiery, ticking time bomb, has nowhere to go immediately. I hate that the path of least resistance runs through whatever won’t or can’t fight back. This makes the cost of release the destruction of what and whom I love — the very ones who most deserve protecting.

I hate what they did to us. Mutilated. Brainwashed. Poisoned. Abused. Whole generations fed through the machine for whoever was shameless and heartless enough to run it without flinching.

They put lead in the gasoline and fought the evidence for fifty years while it shaved points off children’s minds. And when those children came of age, the crime wave came with them; a research literature ties a real share of it to lead’s impairment of executive capacity, empathy, and impulse control. The generation with the most wealth and power in the country now? Childhoods spent inside the hardest-hit, lead exposure window on record.

They laced tobacco with additives that increase the addictiveness of the plant, funded disinformation campaigns, and lied under oath while continuing to put tar in the lungs of their countrymen and women.

They poured billions of opioid pills into the small towns, lied about the addictive potential and safety of the drugs, mapped the sales by zip code, even drafting a price for overdoses to incentivize the continued selling of a product that was killing hundreds of thousands of Americans.

They wrote the loans, stamped them gold, sold them to the pension funds, and banked the bonus before the fire reached the ground floor, all while claiming to be providing a crucial service to markets and capital.

They lied repeatedly to us, the people they claim to serve, deployed what would be considered terrorist tactics by any foreign actor, domestically to achieve their interests. They invaded privacy at scale and lied under oath about it. They experimented on unwilling citizens — patients, prisoners, children — causing lifelong damage, many of the harmed never accounted for because the evidence was destroyed. They call themselves intelligence. They call it serving “national defense”.

They froze their own taxes, walled their own neighborhoods, cut the school funding, repriced the whole ladder, then called my generation, and those that followed, soft for noticing the rungs were gone.

I could go on; I have, this publication has written extensive receipts. You don’t need to know everything they’ve confessed to feel the impact; you live in it daily. None of these criminals served time. None were barred from their trades. None were stripped of the powers they abused. And many are now in control of essential infrastructure, with even greater power and influence than before. So of course the game hasn’t changed. They made the rules of it and make sure they never play it.

I hate the world that let it happen. I hate the country that built it.

Fuck it all.

Now read it back.

Who the fuck am I talking about?

Go through the nouns. Country. Government. News stations. Corporations. Wall Street. World. They. Them. It.

Count the addresses. Zero. The deeds are in there now: the surgeries, the gasoline, the additives, the pills, the burned files, and still there is no person in that rant. Every verb hangs on a they. I named the crimes and never once named a criminal. Nothing in it can be arrested, subpoenaed, fired, sued, voted out, defunded, or repealed — you cannot arrest a they. Every sentence is true, and every sentence is useless. 675 words of hate, and never one name. Where do I send that?

Mutilated. Buck v. Bell (1927) — the Supreme Court blessing compulsory sterilization, eight to one, Holmes writing “three generations of imbeciles are enough”; state eugenics boards sterilized more than 60,000 Americans, North Carolina’s operating into the 1970s. The precedent has never been overturned.

Lead. McFarland, Hauer & Reuben, PNAS (2022)Kitman, “The Secret History of Lead,” The Nation (2000)Higney, Hanley & Moro’s meta-analysis (2022) — tested for publication bias, corrected for it, and the share held: 7–28% of the fall in US homicide.

Tobacco. The seven CEOs under oath, April 14, 1994. Judge Kessler’s RICO findings, U.S. v. Philip Morris (2006). The UCSF Truth Tobacco Industry Documents — “Doubt is our product.”

Opioids. The Washington Post ARCOS database — 76 billion pills, 2006–2012. The Purdue guilty pleas, 2007 and 2020. The McKinsey rebate documents — $14,810 per overdose “event.” U.S. v. Kapoor.

2008. The FCIC Final Report — Clayton’s 911,000 loans and Bowen’s email both live there. The Levin–Coburn report. U.S. v. Serageldin. Eisinger, The Chickenshit Club.

Surveillance and the children. The Church Committee report. The 1977 MKULTRA hearings — including the 1973 order that burned the program’s records. The Bender documentation (Autism History Project, Univ. of Oregon) — children as young as three shocked and dosed; the intelligence-funding chain is the contested link; the experiments themselves are not. The FISA Court’s released opinions. The Brennan Center’s Section 702 tracker.

Veterans. Pew Research Center, July 2019 — 64% on Iraq, 58% on Afghanistan.

The wars’ ledger. The Costs of War project, Brown University — post-9/11 spending near $14 trillion, with one-third to one-half flowing to contractors (Hartung, “Profits of War,” 2021).

The ladder. The Federal Reserve’s Distributional Financial Accounts. SHEEO’s state-disinvestment series. California Proposition 13 (1978).

Imagine if we spent that money on social care’

Corbyn, now leader of This is Your Party, condemned the announcement in a post on X. “Next week is the anniversary of Hiroshima,” he wrote. “Today, the Prime Minister has announced more investment in weapons of mass destruction.”

“The UK spends £12,000 every minute on nuclear weapons,” he added. “Imagine if we spent that money on social care, schools and the NHS instead.”

A lot of Hate to Go Around:

This story was written in collaboration with Belly of the Beast, an independent media outlet that covers Cuba and U.S.-Cuba relations. You can support their work on Patreon.

Since U.S. President Donald Trump imposed an executive order in January threatening tariffs on any country that ships fuel to Cuba, major media outlets have descended on the island to report on the resulting prolonged blackoutscollapsing hospitals, and piles of uncollected trash.

Far less attention has been paid to the rationale the administration offered for imposing the blockade in the first place.

The executive order states that Cuba represents a “national emergency” and poses an “unusual and extraordinary threat” to the United States, stringing together a kitchen-sink list of familiar allegations, including accusations that Cuba sponsors terrorism and aligns itself with “dangerous adversaries” of the United States, such as Iran, Hamas, Russia, and China.

More specifically, the order claims that “Cuba hosts Russia’s largest overseas signals intelligence facility, which tries to steal sensitive national security information of the United States.”

For two months, the allegation that Cuba was hosting a major Russian spy base was largely ignored by U.S. media outlets. Then, on March 24, The New York Times published an article by Michael Crowley claiming not only that the Russian spy base exists, but that it “bristles with antennas and other eavesdropping equipment” capable of spying on the U.S. Central Command, the satellite launchpads of Cape Canaveral, and Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.

Crowley pinpointed the location: a former Soviet base on the outskirts of Havana called Lourdes that was “temporarily shut” by Vladimir Putin in 2001 but was reopened in 2014, according to the Times.

There is just one problem with this story: the base isn’t there.

The State Department did not respond to a request for comment. Belly of the Beast also sent requests to The New York Times and to Michael Crowley but received no response.
