Based on the information I have reviewed, Iran allegedly carried out one of its most intense missile strikes against Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, a facility regularly used by U.S. forces. Reports claim the attack killed three American soldiers and wounded around 25 others, with five described as being in a state of clinical death (brain death). Early casualty figures reportedly listed two fatalities before later increasing to three.

Bible, who worked as ICE’s top ocial in charge of immigration detention until he was hired by GEO Group days before the 2024 presidential election. In the same year, while GEO Group donated $1 million to Trump-alignedpolitical action committees, according to an article from the Project on Government Oversight (POGO), ICE committed $747.4 million in contracts to the company—a pretty damn good return on investment. In an earnings call held just days after Trump won the election, and with Bible already on the payroll, GEO Group predicted a $400 million boost in company revenue.
Current border czar Tom Homan—frequently the White House’s mouthpiece defending the anti-immigrant rampage—has also previously contracted with GEO Group. In 2025, FBI agents caught Homan taking a cash bribe of $50,000 to help business execs looking to land contracts with the federal government. (While Homan never denied taking the money, Trump’s Justice Department closed an investigation into the matter.)
In May, the CEO of CoreCivic told investors, “Never in our 42-year company history have we had so much activity and demand for our services as we are seeing right now.”
