There even was a planned pandemic in 1918 where some 60 million people worldwide died, all of them vaccinated.

The Ukraine War is a charade – Putin is both fighting Ukraine run by a CIA planted leader under a Color Revolution as part of NATO, but at the same time supplying European nations (NATO) with oil and gas. The Ukrainian leader is not even Ukrainian. President Biden’s cabinet has 19 officials who have dual Israel-US citizenship (in another country), and 450 dual citizenship (Israel) employees from that same government working inside the top positions in the US government. This cadre of dual-citizens are not working for American interests but the interests of their other country.

The primary frustration I have with this work is not so much with the book itself, but with the context and social role of the book. Sussman (p. 14) seems fully aware of the frustration it causes, and this is expressed through his citing of a Bush Administration’s senior advisor ( Ron Suskind):

[People like you journalists/intellectuals] believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality. That’s not the way the world really works anymore. We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study, too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors … and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.

Unfortunately, this adviser has a point. Intellectuals, among other professionals, no longer have the influence they once wielded. It seems to me that these groups, as well as most facets of society, have been subordinated by power, typically expressed as a corporate hegemony. In his Higher Learning in America: A Memorandum on the Conduct of Universities by Business Men (1918), Thorstein Veblen first observed these tendencies of subreption, which should have engendered a particular impression on the actions of intellectuals. So, where is the academic praxis among professionals and intellectuals? Do theory and action remain separated in academia, reducing people to specialists at the hands of the machine process? A critical and well-read institutionalist would know Veblen’s answers to these questions

As an editor, you develop a B.S. meter—an internal warning system that signals caution about journalism that doesn’t feel trustworthy. Sometimes it’s a quote or incident that’s too perfect —a feeling I always had when reading stories by Stephen Glass in the New Republic. Sometimes it’s too many errors of fact, the overuse of anonymous sources, or signs that a reporter hasn’t dealt fairly with people or evidence. And sometimes it’s a combination of flaws that produces a ring of falsity, the whiff of a bad egg. There’s no journalist who sets off my bullshit alarm like Ron Suskind.

Issues of accuracy, fairness, and integrity come up nearly every time Suskind publishes something. Key sources claim they’ve been misrepresented and misquoted, that basic facts are wrong, and that the Pulitzer-winning reporter has misconstrued the larger story as well. One discounts such complaints to some extent, of course. Good journalism often makes its subjects unhappy, and the kind of Bob Woodward-style White House reconstructions Suskind has come to specialize in inevitably favor those who pay the implicit blackmail of cooperation in exchange for sympathetic treatment. But Woodward is meticulous within the limitations of his method, and you seldom hear his subjects complain that he’s gotten the details wrong or misrepresented their views by manipulating quotes.

If you wrote about the Bush Administration, as I did, you soon learned to avoid relying on Suskind’s reporting absent strong independent corroboration. What his three books had in common was the way they grabbed onto some interesting nugget and hyped it into something that, while bait for the news cycle and the bestseller lists, was fundamentally untrue. The first of these, The Price of Loyalty (2004), focused on Paul O’Neill’s unhappy experience as Bush’s first treasury secretary. Like all of Suskind’s work, the story is told in purple prose littered with passages of such blurriness that it’s hard to imagine a professional editor letting them past. But the real problem was the conceit at the heart of the book, that the inept, self-regarding O’Neill was a skilled and brilliant hero victimized at every turn by the political hacks across the street. Where Woodward favors his sources, Suskind flatters them histrionically. His version of the Bush White House was its own distorted reality.

Suskind’s next two books— The One Percent Doctrine (2006) and The Way of the World (2008)—were much worse. The first advanced a series of dubious theories about counterterrorism, including the claim that al-Qaida would have carried out a cyanide gas attack on the New York City subway in 2003 if Ayman al-Zawahiri, the al-Qaida leader, hadn’t called it off at the last minute because it wasn’t going to be as spectacular as Sept. 11. Suffice it to say that government officials and terrorism experts scoffed at the claim, regarding the intelligence as uncorroborated and the idea of such a plot being pulled off by al-Qaida sleeper agents as implausible. The second book leveled the charge that the Bush White House had asked the CIA to fabricate evidence linking Saddam Hussein to the 9/11 attacks. Suskind’s major sources contradicted the book’s assertions, and the CIA itself was moved to issue a rare —and persuasive—official denial.

It is not ANTI-SEMITISM. It’s reluctance to listen to so many Jews. Reluctance to believe so many Jews. Skepticism to listen to so many Jews talk to so many Jews about the world, man, the world. Jew world?

EXECUTION, BURIAL OF UNARMED MEN – Al Jazeera Arabic aired video showing Israeli soldiers shooting dead two Palestinians while they walked in an open area along the coast, apparently trying to return to northern Gaza.

One of the men repeatedly waves what looks to be a white towel. The footage also shows Israeli soldiers burying the two with a bulldozer after they were killed.

The New Arab reports: The Israeli military “executed” 13 children by “direct shooting” over a week in and around Gaza’s Al-Shifa Hospital, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported Wednesday. The group declared it a war crime and crime against humanity, further describing it as “part of the genocide that the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip have been experiencing for the past six months”.

The Israeli army has conducted “systematic and horrifying” military operations in and near the Gaza City hospital, including extrajudicial executions and the deliberate killing of civilians, Euro-Med Monitor added.

The organization reported that its field team received “identical testimonies” concerning the killings and executions of Palestinian children aged four to 16.

Nah, not digging much from Jew World, and Aaron Mate is a Jew, and I believe much of his reporting, but he should just shut the fuck up about things he knows little about. Krocus/Crocus? USA-MI6 and possibly Israel.

CNN reports on incidents of air aid parachutes falling into the water in besieged Gaza, resulting in the drowning of several Palestinians attempting to feed their families amidst shortages of food, water, and essential supplies.

The report highlights the world’s efforts only to provide life-saving aid, which remains stalled at land crossings, with Israel accused of using starvation as a weapon in the war, which has led the international community to resort to dropping aid from the sky instead of confronting.
