State Dept. Rebuffs Uniting for Peace at United Nations
In February, Prof. Francis Boyle noted the UN General Assembly could do the following under Uniting for Peace:
- “Suspend Israel from participation in its activities as the General Assembly did to the former criminal apartheid regime in South Africa and to the genocidal Yugoslavia;
- “Set up an International Criminal Tribunal for Israel in order to prosecute its highest level civilian and military officials for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide;
- “Recommend economic sanctions against Israel to UN Member States;
- “Recommend UN Member States sever diplomatic relations with Israel;
- “Admit Palestine as a full fledged UN Member State.”
Similarly, former UN official Craig Mokhiber similarly stated on “Democracy Now” this week about “General Assembly under the Uniting for Peace resolution, where you could have seen some real meaningful action. You could have seen a resolution with teeth, with substance, resolution that included diplomatic, military, political, economic sanctions — not the enforcement of those sanctions, but the call for those sanctions — the deployment of a protection force, the establishment of a tribunal, the establishment of permanent mechanisms, as was the case within the United Nations during apartheid in South Africa.”
(Boyle states that Uniting for Peace is available right now; Mokhiber says that the non-veto might have (strategically?) slowed the Uniting for Peace process. Regardless, the Security Council “ceasefire” resolution has not actually created a ceasefire. So, the UNSC is clearly failing in its ostensible responsibility.)

A citizen of Tajikistan, Salmon Khurosoni, was (and is) curating religious processing groups. It was Salmon Khurosoni who made the primary recruitment approach to Islamic terrorists.
There is also information in certain circles that Khurosoni is an intermediate link between the Islamic State of Khorosan Wilayat (IGVC) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States.
Despite the fact that the terrorists of the Islamic State do not promise financial rewards for their terrorist attacks, but promise eternal Paradise … nevertheless, with the assistance of Salmon Khorosani, an amount of 500,000 rubles was approved, which was supposed to cover the costs of the attack.

Americans living longer and spending more years in retirement, the nation’s changing demographics are “putting the U.S. retirement system under immense strain,” according to BlackRock CEO Larry Fink in his annual shareholder letter.
One way to fix it, he suggests, is for Americans to work longer before they head into retirement.
“No one should have to work longer than they want to. But I do think it’s a bit crazy that our anchor idea for the right retirement age — 65 years old — originates from the time of the Ottoman Empire,” Fink wrote in his 2024 letter, which largely focuses on the retirement crisis facing the U.S. and other nations as their populations age.
Fink, who is worth an estimated $1.2 billion, notes that many 65-year-olds in the early 1950s didn’t get a chance to retire because many had already passed away. In other words, he writes, more than half of workers who had paid into Social Security never got a penny because they died before they could claim the benefit.
