The thinking behind Goldman’s forecast is that poor health is a burden to economic growth, largely because it limits the number of available workers and hours worked due to increased missed days at work.
“The main reason we see meaningful upside from healthcare innovation is that poor health imposes significant economic costs. There are several channels through which poor health weighs on economic activity that could diminish if health outcomes improve,” the analysts, led by Jan Hatzius, wrote.

FROST: And that was in the middle of a debate about who could qualify for citizenship based on their race.
ABDELFATAH: Basically, who belonged and who didn’t.
FROST: Because the law in the United States, starting in 1790, the very first Naturalization Act, said only free white persons could naturalize.

ARABLOUEI: The Supreme Court rejected Thind’s petition for citizenship, claiming that he just didn’t look white enough. They rejected his argument that his Aryan origin – that his language family – was equal to race.

Only 4 of the 9 articles that contained the words journalist/reporter were about Arab reporters.
Biased coverage in major newspapers and mainstream television news is impacting general perceptions of the war and directing viewers toward a warped view of the conflict. This has led to pro-Israel pundits and politicians blaming pro-Palestinian views on social media “misinformation.”
Analysis of both print media and cable news, however, make it clear that, if any cohort of media consumers is getting a slanted picture, it’s those who get their news from established mass media in the U.S.

Aaron Bushnell, a 25-year-old member of the US Air Force, set himself on fire outside the Israeli embassy in Washington, DC, on Sunday in protest of what he described as a US-backed “genocide” in Gaza.
