Dorris said that the incident occurred outside the bathroom in Trump’s VIP box at the open on Sept. 5, 1997, the report said. Dorris was 24 at the time and Trump was 51.

MAGA maggots, all those fucking old ladies in the Senior Centers and Meals on Wheels kitchens, loving this cunt:

Dozens of women have accused Trump of sexual misconduct dating back to the 1970s, and he has been found liable in court for sexual abuse. Several women have described Trump forcibly reaching under their skirts, others said he kissed them without consent, and a handful of beauty pageant contestants claimed Trump inappropriately walked in on them in changing rooms. In total, about two dozen women have spoken out publicly to accuse Trump:

  • Jessica Leeds told The New York Times in 2016 that, in the late 1970s, Trump, who was a stranger to her, reached his hand up her skirt and grabbed her breasts on a flight to New York. She said he “was like an octopus” and his “hands were everywhere” before she fled to the back of the plane.
  • Ivana Trump, Trump’s first wife, accused him in a divorce deposition of raping her in a fit of rage in 1989, when they were married. She later said that she hadn’t meant in a “literal or criminal sense.”
  • Kristin Anderson, a photographer and former model, told The Washington Post in 2016 that Trump sat next to her at a nightclub in the early 1990s and reached under her skirt. Anderson said the incident lasted about 30 seconds, but she and her friends were “very grossed out and weirded out.”
  • Two weeks before the 2024 election, Stacey Williams told the Guardian that she met Trump in 1992 through Jeffrey Epstein, who later became a registered sex offender, was charged with sex trafficking and died by suicide in 2019. Epstein suggested the two visit Trump in Trump Tower in New York in 1993, Williams said, and shortly after they arrived, Trump groped her breasts and her butt. The Trump campaign denied the allegation.
  • Jill Harth, who worked with Trump in the 1990s, accused him of “attempted rape” in a 1997 complaint. She said that in 1993, Trump tried to kiss her in his daughter’s bedroom at his Mar-a-Lago resort, pushing her against a wall and putting his hand up her dress. She dropped the suit a few weeks after filing it, she said as part of a settlement with Trump in a separate breach of contract case, according to the Associated Press.
  • Lisa Boyne, a health food business entrepreneur, told HuffPost in 2016 that she attended a dinner with Trump in 1996 where several women were forced to walk across a table while Trump looked up their skirts and commented on their underwear and bodies. “It was the most offensive scene I’ve ever been a part of,” Boyne said.
  • Five former Miss Teen USA contestants told BuzzFeed News in 2016 that in 1997, Trump, the owner of the pageant at the time, unexpectedly walked into the contestants’ dressing room while they were changing, which they found inappropriate. Mariah Billado said she rushed to put on her dress and remembered him saying, “Don’t worry ladies, I’ve seen it all before.” Victoria Hughes said that it was “the most inappropriate time to meet us all for the first time. The youngest girl was 15, and I was the eldest at 19.” The other three women described a similar situation to BuzzFeed anonymously; however, 11 others said they did not recall seeing Trump in the dressing room at all.

In an April 2005 interview on The Howard Stern Show, when asked about Miss USA and Miss Universe, Trump said he would go backstage before beauty pageant shows, the only man in the room while the women were “standing there with no clothes.” As the owner, “I sort of get away with things like that,” he added. He was not asked about Miss Teen USA in this interview.
  • E. Jean Carroll, a writer, said Trump raped her in 1996 in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room. Carroll wrote about the incident in her 2019 memoir called “What Do We Need Men For?” In May 2023, Carroll was awarded $5 million after a jury held Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation, though not rape.
  • Temple Taggart, former Miss Utah, told The New York Times in 2016 that Trump “kissed me directly on the lips” when he met her at the 1997 Miss USA pageant and again when she met with him in Manhattan after he offered to help with her modeling career. Taggart described the incident as “inappropriate” and said her first thought after he kissed her was, “Oh my God, gross.”
  • Cathy Heller told The Guardian in 2016 that Trump forcibly kissed her when she attended a Mother’s Day brunch at Mar-a-Lago in the 1990s. Heller said she was “angry and shaken” after the former president ignored her handshake, grabbed her and went for the lips and became angry when she tried to turn her head away.
  • Amy Dorris, a former model, said Trump forcibly kissed and groped her in his private box at the U.S. Open tennis championship in 1997. Dorris told The Guardian in 2020 that Trump “shoved his tongue down my throat” and “his hands were very gropey and all over my butt, my breasts, my back, everything.”
  • Karena Virginia, a yoga instructor and life coach, told The Washington Post in 2016 that Trump groped her, unexpectedly wrapping his arm around her and touching her breast, in 1998 while she waited for a car outside the U.S. Open.
  • Karen Johnson, who was a regular at Mar-a-Lago, said Trump pulled her behind a tapestry to kiss and grope her during a New Year’s Eve party in the early 2000s. Johnson detailed the incident to journalists Barry Levine and Monique El-Faizy, who published it in their 2019 book, “All the President’s Women: Donald Trump and the Making of a Predator,” along with 42 other allegations of sexual misconduct.
  • Bridget Sullivan, another former Miss USA contestant, told BuzzFeed News in 2016 that she met Trump at a party promoting the competition, and he hugged her “a little low on your back” and gave “a squeeze that your creepy uncle would.” In a separate instance in 2000, Sullivan said, Trump walked backstage while many of the contestants were naked or getting dressed.
  • Tasha Dixon, a former Miss USA contestant, told CBS in 2016 that, in 2001, Trump walked into where she and other contestants were changing. Dixon said she thought Trump “owned the pageant for the reasons to utilize his power to get around beautiful women.”
  • Melinda McGillivray told the Palm Beach Post in 2016 that Trump grabbed her butt without her consent in 2003 when they were backstage at a Ray Charles concert at Mar-a-Lago.
  • Natasha Stoynoff, a former reporter for People magazine, wrote in 2016 that Trump sexually assaulted her in 2005 while she was visiting Mar-a-Lago to work on a story about his first year of marriage with Melania. When they were alone, Stoynoff said, Trump closed the door and pushed her against the wall before “forcing his tongue down my throat.”
  • Juliet Huddy, a former Fox News anchor, said on the “Mornin!!! With Bill Schulz” podcast in 2017 that Trump kissed her unexpectedly and without her consent in Trump Tower in the mid-2000s. Huddy said she “didn’t feel threatened” at the time but later realized she would’ve said no more clearly.
  • Rachel Crooks, a former receptionist at Trump Tower, told The New York Times in 2016 that Trump kissed her “directly on the mouth” without consent when she first met him in 2005.
  • Samantha Holvey, a former Miss USA contestant, told CNN in 2016 that when she competed in 2006, Trump personally inspected each contestant, looking at them from head to toe like “sexual objects,” which made her feel “the dirtiest I felt in my entire life.”
  • Ninni Laaksonen, a model and former Miss Finland, in 2016 told Ilta-Sanomat, a Finnish newspaper, that Trump squeezed her butt in 2006 when they were backstage at the “Late Show with David Letterman.”
  • Jessica Drake, an actor in adult films, accused Trump during a 2016 news conference of grabbing her, kissing her without her consent and offering her $10,000 to come to his penthouse hotel room in 2006.
  • Summer Zervos, a former contestant on “The Apprentice,” told reporters at a 2016 news conference that Trump sexually assaulted her on two separate occasions in 2007. The first was when she met him and he kissed her on the lips. Later that year, Zervos said Trump grabbed her shoulder, kissed her “aggressively,” placed his hand on her breast and thrust himself on her before she was able to pull away and leave the room.
  • Cassandra Searles, a former Miss USA contestant, wrote in a 2016 Facebook post that Trump “continually grabbed my ass and invited me to his hotel room” when she competed in 2013.
  • Alva Johnson, a former campaign staff member, alleged in a 2019 lawsuit that Trump grabbed her hand and kissed her on the side of the mouth without her consent during a rally in 2016.

Today in 1997, Trump (allegedly) sexually assaulted a model at the U.S. Open. Her story is corroborated by family and friends she told immediately after. She was at least the 26th woman to accuse Trump of rape or assault when she came forward in 2020.

“He just shoved his tongue down my throat and I was pushing him off. And then that’s when his grip became tighter and his hands were very gropey and all over my butt, my breasts, my back, everything,” Dorris said in an interview published in The Guardian newspaper.

Still, seemingly hiding the net-zero verbage from view on its flagship sustainability website is a noteworthy choice by Google. Two major shifts in 2025 may have something to do with the decision: Google’s spiraling AI energy costs and the U.S. government’s crackdown on climate change initiatives.

Google and other AI hyperscalers have been continually purchasing and building data centers to meet perceived AI demands since the field opened wide last year. As a result of Google’s major strategy shift towards AI, the company announced that its greenhouse gas emissions climbed by 48% in the past year, noting then that this boom would make the 2030 goal a challenge.

Leonardo DiCaprio is infamous for dating women who are 25 or under, and in fact, there is a statistics chart dedicated to the Hollywood biggie which proves the same. The actor again got brutally trolled on similar lines when Google completed its 25 years. Many on the Internet quickly rushed to social media platforms to make fun of DiCaprio saying he will now dump Google and move to Bing or some other search engine.

Speaking with Jim Cramer on CNBC’s Mad Money following Salesforce’s fiscal second-quarter earnings, Benioff revealed that the company won a U.S. Army contract against Palantir. He credited Salesforce’s competitive pricing for tipping the scales in its favor.

“We had a tremendous success against Palantir because, by the way, our prices are just so much lower,” Benioff said. “We’re offering a very competitive product at a much lower cost.”

Benioff added that Salesforce’s government business is already a multi-billion-dollar segment, with the U.S. government ranking as its largest customer.

While WSIP had writing specialists as instructors, the Think Tank writing center tutors are UA students who wish to support their peers’ writing development.

Reed — who collaborated with WSIP director Holm on a project in 2024 called “Academic Writing in the Borderlands — said one of the biggest areas of WSIP’s expertise was that all the educators came with at least a master’s or PhD degree.

“The science and craft of writing was their specialty, so they would be able to support people with very specific academic and professional genres which might not be within the experience of a peer tutor,” said Reed, also emphasizing she wasn’t diminishing the services the student peer tutors provided.

WSIP instructors “would know about publication processes and what to do if you’re going to write a peer-reviewed article,” Reed said. “So, they would be able to help people with various steps in publication processes and dissertation processes. I think that’s a huge thing, the amount of support that they gave to graduate students working on their dissertations.”

Outside of a mountain village in the northern outskirts of the United Arab Emirates, clouds on a recent weekend suddenly crowded out the white-hot sun that bakes this desert nation in the summer months. Fierce winds blew over planters and pushed a dumpster down the street. And then came the most infrequent visitor of all: rain.

Rainfall long has fascinated the people of the Emirates. That includes both its white-thobed locals crowding into the deserts for any downpour and its vast population of foreign workers, many coming from homes in the Indian subcontinent who grew up with monsoon deluges.

But rain also carries with it promise and peril to the nation of seven sheikhdoms on the Arabian Peninsula.

With some 4 million people now estimated to be living in Dubai alone compared to around 255,000 in 1980, pressure on water consumption continues. Meanwhile, as weather patterns change with global warming, the country saw the heaviest recorded rainfall ever last year that disrupted worldwide travel and now has its leaders reconsidering how to build as residents nervously look to the skies.

Can AI help “smooth over” discussion on abortion, racism, immigration, or Israel-Palestine? Columbia University sure hopes so.

The Verge has learned that the university recently began testing Sway, an AI debate program currently in beta. Developed by two researchers with backgrounds in philosophy and psychology, Sway matches up students with opposing views to chat one-on-one about hot-button issues and “facilitates better discussions between them,” according to the tool’s website. Nicholas DiBella, a postdoctoral scholar at Carnegie Mellon University who helped develop Sway, told The Verge that about 3,000 students from more than 30 colleges and universities have used the tool.

Before making The Spoils: A Fight for Nazi Looted Art, a documentary now streaming on CBC Gem, I’d thought of the Holocaust primarily in terms of its human costs.

I had not, I confess, given much thought to lost property.

Even the millions of dollars in compensation cannot erase the reality of Palestinian displacement, which is no longer a mere objective fact, but has rather come to shape and has taken over the Palestinian conscience, much like what the crematories and the concentration camps have done to the Jews. Have German reparations, in spite of their exorbitant amounts, drawn attention away from the crematory?

Even the vision of a one-state solution with equality between Palestinians and Jews is an acknowledgment at some level of the triumph of Jewish Israeli settler colonialism. Along these lines, the question is open as to whether reparations from the settler minority to the native majority would diminish or reinforce the power of settler colonialism. For example, compensation for the indigenous Maori of New Zealand was aimed at making up for the manifest legacies of colonialism but also to maintaining the continuation of the white settler colonial regime.

Reparations to the colonized may temporarily restructure hierarchies in which social inferiors were hitherto forced to make material tribute to higher status colonizers. But it must never be forgotten that reconciliation between native and settler is about rationalizing ongoing settler colonialism – by demonstrating “generosity” and paying compensation, the colonizer reinforces their superior position in the social hierarchy. Thus, compensation remains mired in the messy realities of festering disputes between colonizer and colonized or settler and native, even when opposing sides – such as the Maori native and the white New Zealander – are in agreement that reparative processes must advance.

This post is the conclusion of a three-part series: What Will Gaza Become After Genocide? Using the Counterfactual Method to Evaluate Three Post-Genocidal Futures. You may access Part 1 herewhere I argued that the genocide Israel is perpetrating against the Palestinians is central to the zionist ethos which, like other settler-colonial movements, seeks to remove the native from coveted lands. In the second part, available here, I explore a scenario where Europe actually complies with international law. As many have cautioned, even European legal compliance would leave Palestinians at risk, where rights are affirmed without enforcement, and violations recognised but not remedied. I turn now to a Palestinian Freedom Dream.

The Nakba, just like the current genocide and famine, are not aberrations but constitutive of and constitutional to this ideology. Zionism’s “chronic addiction to territorial expansion,” according to Wolfe, mirrors the pathology of all settler projects: the insatiable need to erase the native in order to sustain the fiction of the settler’s natural right to the land. His critique of the “logic of elimination” captures both negative and positive dimensions of this process—from massacres and forced displacement to the legal and cultural erasure of Palestinian ties to the land. Since 1947, Israel has conspired with the West and with European international law in pursuit of Palestine’s dissolution, both literally and figuratively. Imagine that, prior to the West’s adoption of its Partition Plan, the territory of Palestine covered 100% of historic Palestine. Yet, following the land’s bizarre bifurcation, the Nakba, Israel’s endless wars, the expansion of settlements by both state and settler militias, sequestration, and myriad other technologies of elimination, Palestine is today less than 12% of what it was (and a shrinking fraction of the 45% afforded in the Partition Plan): West Bank areas A and B amount to 10% and Gaza 1.4%—at least pre-genocide—with Area C, under Israeli control, taking up 10% and Israel another 78%.

In other words, this is not a conflict between two equal nationalisms but a struggle between a settler project, designed to metastasise across the land, and an indigenous people refusing to disappear. The “frontier rabble”—the settlers who torch olive groves, the soldiers who enforce checkpoints, the lawmakers who legalise theft—are not rogue actors but the physical embodiment of zionism’s mission of native elimination. Palestinian emphasis on land, then, is not merely a bargaining position but a form of existential defiance. Likewise, to struggle for return is to reject the very premise of zionism. To paraphrase Lloyd, to return to plant an olive tree where the settler has built a wall or murdered a child is to declare that you’ll still be here tomorrow.

David Ben-Gurion | Biography, May 1948, & Facts | Britannica

Ben-Gurion’s denial of the Nakba consists of three false claims:

  1. His first claim was that the flight of Palestinians in 1948 was in response to a call from their leaders to flee.
  2. His second claim was that there were no massacres or direct expulsions by the Zionist forces.
  3. His third claim was that Zionist leaders tried to persuade the Palestinians to stay.

All three claims are false, creating a narrative about 1948 that exculpates the Yishuv of any responsibility for Palestinian flight and suffering in 1948 and on.

Here, from the Jew Google AI: how much should Israel pay in reparations?

While no official amount has been agreed upon, some have offered estimates based on specific analyses of damages. These figures are not binding and serve to illustrate the scale of potential compensation being debated.

  • Gaza Reconstruction: The cost to rebuild Gaza’s infrastructure following recent conflicts has been estimated at tens of billions of dollars. One November 2024 analysis put the figure at $53 billion, while an earlier December 2023 estimate noted the “unprecedented” level of destruction.
  • Comprehensive Palestinian Reparations: Broader estimates aiming for a full restoration of Palestinians to their pre-1967 situation include higher figures, encompassing long-term economic losses and psychological trauma.
    • One estimate suggested that economic losses since 1967 could exceed $100 billion.
    • Another estimate placed the total cost for comprehensive reparations, including infrastructure reconstruction and economic and humanitarian compensation, at over $145 billion.

ALways the dirty Jewish forked tongue: Israeli Counterclaims: Israel has historically linked potential Palestinian compensation to claims for property losses suffered by Jews who fled or were expelled from Arab countries following Israel’s establishment in 1948. Some reports indicate that Israel sought over $250 billion in reparations from several Arab countries for lost Jewish assets.

I think the Israeli government bears some responsibility for what’s happening there and we need to see that change. And I don’t care how you want to label it. The issue is, how do we make sure people are not starving to death, that starvation is not being used as a weapon of war? And for all of us who are watching what’s happening there, there are real questions about the actions of the Netanyahu government.

Yes, the fucked up AI Mar-a-Lago clips of Gaza turned into Tech and Turistas WILL happen, and is not some Crypto Bro Scheme

Ahh, so, Ali is piping hot mad. That’s good, and he even almost says what’s true — almost ALL male Jews in and out of the Occupied Land, especially those in EuroTrashLandia and Klanada and InBred Queendom, and especially here in the UnUnited Snake$ of Israel, they believe in a New Israel, and they do not give a shit about imploding, immolating, starving and maimed Palestinians.

And, Tech Fascists are way more than Crypto Bro’s as Asa says:

Quoting:

On The Electronic Intifada livestream this week, we looked at the post-war plan for Gaza which was leaked to the Washington Post.

While the authors of the so-called GREAT plan seem to have been fired after the newspaper published it in full, there’s no doubt that it reflects the thinking of the Trump administration — the supposed “Gaza Riviera” plan.

On the stream, Ali took a look at the plan and why its claims that Palestinians will be allowed back to their homes in Gaza after the supposed “reconstruction” should not be believed. It’s more reminiscent of a concentration camp plan.

I talked about one historical parallel to the plan from the Holocaust of World War 2, when the Nazis — crucially aided by a local Zionist leader — tricked half a million Hungarian Jews into the Auschwitz death camp.

You can read the article about Hungarian Zionist leader Rezső Kasztner I mentioned in the segment by clicking here. There’s a second relevant historical article here.

Watch the whole segment in the video above.

“No, Jews did not collaborate in their own genocide,” Owen Jones’ title disingenuously reads, the first of many strawman arguments.

Asa: This was not at all what my article claimed.

What it showed was that the Zionist leadership in occupied Hungary in 1944 worked closely with the Nazis, not the Jewish population as a whole.

More specifically, the article focused on the leading role in this collaboration played by Rezső Kasztner, Labor Zionism’s leader in Hungary during the Nazi occupation.

Zionism was a minority trend among Jewish people at the time but the Zionist policy of collaboration played an important role in helping the Nazis exterminate almost half a million Hungarian Jews during the Holocaust.

Why is Owen Jones defending a Nazi collaborator? Look at the InBred UnUnited Queen-dumber:

Trump’s Gaza ‘Riviera’ echoes Kushner waterfront property dreams

“It’s a little bit of an unfortunate situation there, but I think from Israel’s perspective, I would do my best to move the people out and then clean it up,” he said. Kushner was himself a property developer in New York prior to Trump’s first term.

Israeli politicians have often reproached Palestinian leaders for focusing on fighting Israel rather than developing a new Dubai or Singapore in areas like Gaza, which for the past two decades has been under blockade that severely limits access to finance and basic materials.

In former years, the coastal enclave was a popular destination for Israeli tourists and even after the takeover by the Islamist movement Hamas in 2007, there was a laidback scene, opens new tab of smart beachside restaurants and cafes along the seafront.

But the practicalities of realizing Trump’s vision of creating “The Riviera of the Middle East” in Gaza, where the Islamist movement Hamas is still firmly in control and where there has been a furious reaction to his comments, remain unexplained.

Land ownership in Gaza is covered by complex mix of regulations and customs drawn from Ottoman, British mandate and Jordanian laws as well as clan practices, with land title sometimes backed by documents from previous legal regimes. There are currently heavy restrictions on foreigners buying land.

For the moment, after 15 months of bombardment, Gaza is a “demolition site” in Trump’s words, that will require 10-15 years of reconstruction, according to his special Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, himself a former real-estate developer who last week became the most senior U.S. official to step foot in the enclave since the war began.

Estimates of the cost of reconstruction go as high as $100 billion

One group which has reacted with enthusiasm is Israel’s settler movement, which has long dreamed of returning to settlements in Gaza that were abandoned 20 years ago under former Israeli prime Minister Ariel Sharon.

Trump’s own administration contains a number of officials close to the settler movement and although Trump said he did not see Jewish settlements being rebuilt in Gaza, his comments were seized on immediately.

Settler groups say their interest in returning to Gaza is motivated by the Biblical connections they feel with the land but, for the moment at least, such considerations were secondary to the prospect of moving out Palestinians.

  • National Security Minister Ben-Gvir supports resettling Gaza
  • Settler movement sees 2005 Gaza withdrawal as fatal mistake

Last year the Nachala Movement, which promotes Jewish settlement in the West Bank, helped organize a conference at the edge of the Gaza Strip called “Preparing to Resettle Gaza”, where politicians in Netanyahu’s Likud party and others discussed plans to “encourage emigration” of Palestinians from Gaza and rebuild the settlements.

“Assuming Trump’s comments about transferring Gazans to other countries are translated into practice, we must hurry and establish settlements throughout the Gaza Strip,” the group said on the social media platform X.

According to Allison Kaplan Sommer, who wrote a blog on Haaretz.com about the “hot Israel chick with gun,” it‘s not the bikini. Neither is it the gun. It‘s the combination of the two.

Clearly, Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox have had it right all along.

This is what Sommer wrote on Haaretz:

“I’ve been quite fascinated by the fascination. Bikini pictures aren’t uncommon, and neither are pictures of gun. But put them together and you’ve got everyone’s attention. The combination of exposed female body and deadly weaponry must tap into some deep-seated male fantasy world. Even when fully clad, there seems to be a major Internet fetish for Israeli female soldiers. A quick Google search will prove me right. There may be other countries with women in the military – including the United States, but the consequences of Israel’s universal military service is that, when the entire female population goes to the army at age 18, each cohort is going to include a certain percentage of really hot women.”

All Jews in Is-r-HELL are mercenaries, killers, soldiers, if you will. Shoot them down like rabid dogs.

She was raised in the Amish community in Ohio and became an Israeli gun model

Malespin, who lives in Or Akiva, works as a social media manager and at the same time serves as a model of weapons and complementary equipment and poses for instructional videos in English for the international clientele of the arms companies she works for. When she sits down in the café, she places a beautiful designer bag next to her, and only later does it turn out that inside the bag is a “Ramon” pistol manufactured by the EMTAN Israel small arms industry, for which Malespin works. At home, she has a bigger gun (“too big to fit in a bag”), which she uses in shooting competitions in Israel and abroad.

“I don’t like flamboyant guns,” she clarifies, “I like them black and dirty. A gun that I dipped in mud and can still fire, is the best in my opinion. But yes, I ran into a weird American woman who asked for a Prada print on her gun. These are things that you see more In the U.S. and less in Israel.”

She is 31 years old, born in the U.S., the fifth of six children of a Jewish-American father and a Christian Canadian mother. Her parents chose to name her after the word LOVE. “My mother was raised in a difficult home and left it at the age of 14,” she says. “Thinking that God had revealed himself to her, she walked the streets of California and talked to people about Jesus, aiming to bring them back to repentance. My father, who was raised in a Jewish home, saw a beautiful woman playing in the street, was intrigued, fell in love with her, followed her, and became a Christian.”

In virtually all cases, you cannot save a dog once it starts showing symptoms of rabies. Rabies is a fatal viral disease that attacks the central nervous system, and once clinical signs appear, there is no effective treatment. For this reason, humane euthanasia is the standard protocol for animals with suspected or confirmed rabies to prevent immense suffering and transmission to other animals and humans.

Discussion about this post

Just ONE product made by the Nazi Chemical Company illustrates how DEAD we are: Glyphosate pathways to modern diseases VI: Prions, amyloidoses and autoimmune neurological diseases

Usage of the herbicide glyphosate on core crops in the USA has increased exponentially over the past two decades, in step with the exponential increase in autoimmune diseases including autism, multiple sclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease, type 1 diabetes, coeliac disease, neuromyelitis optica and many others. In this paper we explain how glyphosate, acting as a non-coding amino acid analogue of glycine, could erroneously be integrated with or incorporated into protein synthesis in place of glycine, producing a defective product that resists proteolysis. Whether produced by a microbe or present in a food source, such a peptide could lead to autoimmune disease through molecular mimicry. We discuss similarities in other naturally produced disease-causing amino acid analogues, such as the herbicide glufosinate and the insecticide L-canavanine, and provide multiple examples of glycine-containing short peptides linked to autoimmune disease, particularly with respect to multiple sclerosis.

Most disturbing is the presence of glyphosate in many popular vaccines including the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine, which we have verified here for the first time. Contamination may come through bovine protein, bovine calf serum, bovine casein, egg protein and/or gelatin. Gelatin sourced from the skin and bones of pigs and cattle given glyphosate-contaminated feed contains the herbicide. Collagen, the principal component of gelatin, contains very high levels of glycine, as do the digestive enzymes: pepsin, trypsin and lipase. The live measles virus could produce glyphosate-containing haemagglutinin, which might induce an autoimmune attack on myelin basic protein, commonly observed in autism. Regulatory agencies urgently need to reconsider the risks associated with the indiscriminate use of glyphosate to control weeds.

Off To Jail’: Gaza Aid Whistleblower Arrested For Interrupting Senate Hearing

Two United States military veterans, including a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) whistleblower, were arrested for interrupting a Senate Foreign Affairs Committee hearing. They said “the U.S. government is complicit” in the Israeli government’s genocide in Gaza and were quickly removed by U.S. Capitol police.

GHF whistleblower Anthony Aguilar stood up. “You have an obligation to the Constitution of the United States.” Former U.S. Army intelligence analyst Josephine Guilbeau also spoke up. “Israel is ethnically cleansing Gaza. They’re building a concentration camp!”

While police handcuffed and escorted the military veterans, Aguilar said, “When the United States Congress comes after veterans, they will come after you. Every American sitting at home right now needs to realize that you are paying for genocide.”

As European leaders push to shape global speech rules under the guise of trade policy, new internal records reveal that the French government quietly built a system to enforce censorship worldwide.

Leaked internal communications from Twitter, now known as X, expose a sophisticated campaign led by President Emmanuel Macron and aided by state-aligned organizations to pressure the platform into suppressing speech far beyond what French law requires.

Look at those Seinfeld Eyes, those Pedophilia Eyes:

The children held in Israeli torture dungeons endure horrific abuse, are fed rotten food and are subjected to daily beatings.

From the DCI-P report:

“Every month since October 2023, Israeli forces have rapidly expanded their use of administrative detention to target Palestinian children,” said Ayed Abu Eqtaish, accountability program director at DCI-P. “These children are languishing in overcrowded Israeli prisons, fed rotten food, and beaten on a daily basis by Israeli guards, all while they are completely isolated from the outside world, including from their families and lawyers. They must all be released immediately.”

The report further added that Israelis are attempting to restrict information about detainees, and the suspension of visits by family members and lawyers has meant that the full extent of rights violations cannot be documented.

One photo shows an Iraqi teenager bound and standing in the headlights of a truck immediately after his mock execution, staged by U.S. soldiers. Another shows a group of soldiers forcing a detainee to look at pictures of lingerie-clad women. Another depicts the body of Muhamad Husain Kadir, an Iraqi farmer, shot dead at point-blank range by an American soldier while handcuffed.

These are just three of thousands of photos related to cases of detainee abuse that our government refuses to release. We know little about the majority of these photos, but documents released to the ACLU over the last decade offer some clues to what they reveal. Today, on the 11th anniversary of the release of the Abu Ghraib photos, we’re releasing everything we know about what’s in the photos the government doesn’t want us to see.

Six months before the Abu Ghraib scandal, the ACLU filed a Freedom of Information Act request for records, including photos, relating to the abuse and torture of prisoners in U.S. detention centers overseas. During the years of litigation that followed, we received almost 6,000 documents (all searchable in our Torture Database) illustrating these abuses, but the government has persistently refused to release the photos or give individualized reasons for withholding them.

She was reportedly sexually abused and assaulted and “made to crawl around on all-fours as a ‘large man rode’ on her,” striking her with a stick and calling her an animal.

Moreover, the reported detainee count does not account for children held in military detention and torture chambers, such as at the notorious Sde Teiman, run by the Israeli occupation forces:

The data released by the IPS accounts for prisons under its administration, including Megiddo and Ofer, where children are detained and imprisoned. This data does not include children who are detained at Israeli military detention and interrogation centers, such as Huwwara, or military bases like Sde Teiman. There is no available data for how many children or adults are detained at these sites, though DCI-P has received testimony from previously detained children of torture and dehumanizing conditions being regularly implemented at these locations.

According to the report, children in detention increasingly have their rights violated, “including Article 37(d) of the Convention on the Rights of the Child” according to which “every child has the right to prompt access to legal assistance and to challenge the legality of their detention before a court.”

The report says:

Lawyers representing Palestinian detainees now face mounting barriers, including the cancellation of scheduled visits, severe limitations on visiting hours, prolonged delays extending for months, and bans on bringing in even basic case materials. Lawyers are also forbidden from passing on simple messages from families, and children who wish to pass along messages to their families through a lawyer have been beaten. Further, Israel has disallowed the International Committee of the Red Cross from visiting any Palestinian detainees held in Israeli places of detention since October 7, 2023.

Killing of Palestinian captives

More than 70 Palestinian detainees are reported to have been killed in Israeli captivity since October 7 alone. Most of them have been ruthlessly anally raped and beaten to death. One such anal rape at the Sde Teiman torture facility was caught on camera last year. The victim, Islam al-Sarsawi, subsequently succumbed to his wounds. Adnan al-Bursh, a renowned and much-loved doctor in Gaza, was also raped and tortured to death.

This week’s New Yorker features an astonishing profile of Sabrina Harman, “the woman behind the camera at Abu Ghraib.” Harman took hundreds of photos documenting the abuse of Iraqi prisoners—some showing her posing with dead prisoners, flashing a winning smile and a thumbs up. Her photographs were the primary evidence used in the courts-martial of several soldiers in her unit, including herself.

Oh, those Jews:

Walid Ahmad, 17, was tortured to death in Israeli captivity. - Palestine Will Be Free

Walid Ahmad, 17, was abducted from his home in Silwad on September 30, 2024, and imprisoned in Megiddo Prison. Over six months of his captivity, Walid was subjected to starvation and medical neglect. On March 22, 2025, Walid died in captivity, and a medical report confirmed that starvation was the primary cause of death. He also suffered from untreated colitis and scabies.

Walid had complained of not receiving enough food before he lost consciousness on March 22 and was transferred to the prison’s clinic. However, attempts to resuscitate him failed and he died.

In December 2023, former US State Department official Josh Paul recounted a shocking case of Israeli abuse, in which Israel designated DCI‑P as a terrorist organisation merely for highlighting the rape of a 13‑year‑old boy in an Israeli dungeon:

A charity called Defence for Children International – Palestine (DCI-P) drew our attention at the State Department to the sexual assault, actually, the rape of a 13-year-old boy that occurred in an Israeli prison, in Al-Moskibiyya, in Jerusalem.

We examined these allegations, we believed they were credible, we put them to the government of Israel, and you know what happened the next day? The IDF went into the DCI-P offices and removed all their computers and and declared them a terrorist entity.

Accused of involvement in a stabbing operation in an East Jerusalem settlement alongside his cousin, 15-year-old Hassan — who was shot and killed — an unarmed Ahmad was run over by an Israeli vehicle. As he lay bleeding, nearby Jewish squatters hurled abuse at him and wished for his death. He was subsequently taken captive and, after brief medical treatment, swiftly transferred to an interrogation facility.

His harsh interrogation, without the presence of a lawyer — a common Israeli practice — was caught on camera, and revealed Israeli brutality to the broader world.

And the Jews in Trump-Landia get rid of some Jews in Academia-Landia:

Generally referencing the trying times ahead for the university, Schill said in a message to the campus on Thursday that he had decided it was time for new leadership. In his three-year tenure, he wrote, “our community has made significant progress while simultaneously facing extraordinary challenges.”

Schill drew particular scrutiny for negotiating an agreement last year with pro-Palestinian protesters who had set up an encampment calling for the university’s divestment from Israel. Conservative critics argued that the protesters should have been punished because some of their conduct was antisemitic.

Last year, Schill was grilled by members of the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce about that agreement and the university’s overall response to activism over the Israel-Hamas war. Schill repeatedly questioned the premise of questions and defended the university’s decision to peacefully end protests through negotiations.

Schill joins a small group of campus leaders who have left at least in part because of fierce opposition from Republican politicians, which has amped up considerably since the Trump administration has declared war on universities seen as being out of line with the president’s priorities. Other presidencies were toppled at Harvard and Columbia Universities and the Universities of Pennsylvania and Virginia.

MAGA:

The fucking Demon-Crats:

More than 120 local politicians from across the U.S. have united to launch a group touting the “Abundance” movement ahead of a conference in D.C. this week.

Why it matters: The Abundance Elected Network aims to give momentum to the movement that was ignited by a bestselling book, and now is the focus of a debate over the future of the Democratic Party heading into the 2026 and 2028 elections.

  • Abundance — which generally focuses on removing regulation and red tape in government to build more housing, energy projects and more — has been hailed by some Democrats as way for the party to win back many of the working-class voters who’ve drifted to Republicans in recent elections.
  • But many in the party’s left wing believe it’s merely an effort by moderates to rebrand the corporate-friendly wing of the party that many believe led workers to leave.

State of play: The new lawmakers’ group is being launched by the Abundance Network, one of the leading organizations behind the movement.

  • It includes mayors from cities such as Scranton, Pa., Lansing, Mich., Cincinnati, Ohio, and Boulder, Colo., along with city council members and county supervisors across 31 states.

Corey Woods, the mayor of Tempe, Ariz., and a member of the group, told Axios that if Democrats “are going to be the party of government, we have to prove to our constituents that the government can deliver.”

  • “At many times, there have been some rules that Democrats have advocated for that are well-intentioned, but are now being used outside their origins,” he said.

Last week, the New York City Council approved a rezoning plan for Windsor Terrace, a residential neighborhood in Brooklyn. It will allow construction to move forward on a new building with 250 housing units—nearly half of which will be offered at below-market rates. The original project was supposed to be larger, but with fewer affordable units. Neighborhood activists convinced local officials to change course.

“While it might sound appealing to require ‘affordable housing’—that is, deed-restricted, below-market units made available through a housing lottery, not simply housing that’s affordable because supply is plentiful—these mandates ultimately worsen the city’s supply shortage,” writes Manhattan Institute president Reihan Salam. “Pricing a larger share of units below market rent means the remaining market-rate units must be priced high enough to subsidize the affordable ones and still generate enough profit to justify construction. In practice, that drives up average rents.”

Ohio State Bans Most Land Acknowledgments

Ohio State was founded in 1870 as a land-grant university in accordance with the Morrill Act of 1862, by which the U.S. government gifted more than 11 million acres of expropriated Indigenous land to fledgling public universities as capital for the endowments. According to a 2020 investigation by High Country News, Ohio State received 614,325 acres of land—the third-most in the country, behind only Cornell University and Pennsylvania State University—seized or ceded by treaty from more than 100 Indigenous tribes.

The company’s latest workforce reduction comes just three years after it purchased healthcare technology company Cerner.

Since then, Oracle has closed former Cerner campuses and consolidated work to its Innovations Campus near Interstate 435 and Bannister.

Oracle has not shared any numbers of layoffs with Missouri and Kansas officials.

KMBC emailed Oracle for a statement about the layoffs, but did not immediately hear back.

A Bloomberg report from 2024 showed that Oracle employed more than 6,000 workers in Kansas City, down more than 5,000 in just three years since it took over for Cerner.

Scheduling university and college courses is complex. Yet rather than use advanced technology to do it, some institutions still rely on “old-school” methods that include producing hard-copy spreadsheets, according to administrators trying to address the issue.

Mounting layoffs and budget problems in the wake of enrollment declines and federal spending cuts threaten to make this problem worse.

Colleges and universities have collectively laid off thousands of faculty and staff in the last six months, with more downsizing expected. Others are further trimming their number of courses.

When all was said and done, President Donald Trump fired BLS Commissioner Erika McEntarfer, claiming, without evidence, that she manipulated the numbers for “political purposes.” (Revisions are a “feature, not a bug” of economic data, and there are explanations for what happened in May and June — more on that below).

Trump’s nominee for the BLS commissioner, Heritage Foundation economist E.J. Antoni, stirred plenty of controversy and drummed up fears of political influence on critical economic data.

• Ukraine-Russia: The US president said tonight he plans to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the near future. Earlier today, he spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders as momentum to end Russia’s war in Ukraine stalls.

• Epstein controversy: House Speaker Mike Johnson defended Trump’s comments calling efforts to release the Jeffrey Epstein files a “hoax,” arguing that the president is being “misrepresented.”

In surveys of North American professors this year, academic publishing company Wiley found that most believe their students are already using AI in the classroom. Only 31% of the professors said they felt positive about the technology.

Some of Oregon’s largest institutions, including the University of Oregon, Oregon State and Portland Community College, have created faculty cohorts to help educators learn about artificial intelligence, pinpoint their concerns and guide them to think about whether and how the technology might be useful to their lessons or students. At an AI symposium next week, Portland Community College will teach faculty how to use ChatGPT.

Fucking Ha Ha Ha, Cunt College Students:

In response to the news that the Israeli Army was using the Lavender decision support system to generate, and subsequently strike, human targets in Gaza, Visualizing Palestine created their Stop KillerAI story. Visualizing Palestine is an organisation which uses data and research to visually communicate Palestinian experiences to provoke narrative change. Their Stop Killer AI story demonstrates how the mass surveillance apparatus that touches every aspect of Palestinian life had been weaponised in a new, and especially lethal way. The scroll-story merges interactive graphics and research to create a compelling online experience that demystifies how Lavender operates and how the Israeli army used it to enable and justify the mass killing of Palestinians civilians in Gaza.

Stop Killer Robots continues to monitor the use of oppressive technology in Palestine and around the world. Our research and monitoring team Automated Decision Research contributed to the background research that informed StopKillerAI. Ahead of our upcoming episode of Digital Dehumanisation which focuses on Visualizing Palestine’s work, the Lavender system, and oppressive technology in Palestine, we sat down with Nate Wright a software developer and digital producer, who worked with Visualizing Palestine to develop the StopKillerAI story to discuss the project, his background, and the power of digital storytelling.

The fundamental flaw in capitalism is that it’s designed to maximize profits for private owners of wealth, not to optimize, or even consider, the well-being of human beings.

This isn’t just an economic critique, it’s a moral diagnosis of what has become a spiritual sickness in how we relate to each other.

At least 55,000, according to information compiled by Animal Politico, a Mexican news site which has published a special report on forced labor in Mexico’s drug war.

The interactive report called Esclavos del Narco, or Narco Slaves, discusses how cartels force children to sell drugs in street corners and how Central American immigrants making their way to the U.S. face the stark choice of carrying drugs across the border or being murdered in cold blood.

Organized crime networks dedicated to human trafficking have had a great deal of time to perfect their system and ally themselves with new players in Guatemala, including drug traffickers. Small criminal structures exploit indigenous women, trafficking them from rural areas to the capital. Dozens, maybe even hundreds, of women are trafficked from other countries to Guatemala by larger criminal organizations. Sexual exploitation — in a country with high crime rates, a woeful human rights record and a judicial system that is only just starting to recognize it as a crime — is flourishing.

Ask the Jew Google AI, and, you get this . . . drug cartels force boat captains to make their products

AI Overview

Yes, drug cartels and other organized crime groups use coercion and violence to force boat captains and fishing crews to transport their products

. In some areas, cartels have taken over local fisheries, extorting fishermen and forcing them to smuggle drugs alongside their legitimate catch.

How cartels co-opt boat captains

  • Extortion and threats: In places like the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf Cartel extorts fishing crews to traffic drugs and migrants. Fishermen who operate within cartel-controlled territory are forced to pay tribute.
  • Sponsorship and financing: Cartels will also provide equipment, such as fast, low-profile boats called “lanchas,” to fishing crews. In exchange, the fishermen must smuggle the cartel’s products. If these boats are seized, the cartel may pay for the crew’s release and replace the vessel.
  • Exploiting crew members: Cartels have also been known to infiltrate crews on large commercial vessels without the knowledge of the shipping company. In one 2019 case involving shipping giant MSC, a third of the crew on a single ship was involved in a massive cocaine smuggling operation.
  • Expansion of control: Research from organizations like the Brookings Institution shows that cartels are increasingly taking control of fishing and logging industries to support their illicit activities. This takeover often begins with targeting those fishing for protected species and expands to extorting those who harvest lower-value seafood.

Hundreds of unaccompanied child migrants across Europe are being forced to work as soldiers for increasingly powerful drug cartels to meet the continent’s soaring appetite for cocaine . . . Revealed: drug cartels force migrant children to work as foot soldiers in Europe’s booming cocaine trade.

A police dog stands on its hind legs sniffing a stack of crates of bananas

Oh, the innocents: Cocaine is, after cannabis, the second most commonly used illicit drug in Europe. Although prevalence levels and patterns of use differ considerably between countries (see Prevalence and patterns of cocaine use), the availability of this drug has been increasing for a number of years.

Ireland currently has the third highest rate of consumption of powder cocaine in Europe, behind Spain and the UK. During the previous peak of cocaine use in 2007, it was mainly concentrated in cities and large towns. Now it is as much a rural drug as an urban one. In 2019, The Irish Times reported how cocaine had spread from large towns such as Letterkenny and Sligo to even the smallest rural villages in the northwest. A Garda source quoted at the time said the average consumer was now “a farmer or a nurse . . . it’s universal”.

“The cliche of cocaine as ‘the rich man’s drug’ is long gone; unfortunately it is everywhere now,” says Garda Mark Houlihan of Dublin South Central divisional drugs unit. “The recreational user who uses it socially, who gets his €100 worth of cocaine on a Friday or Saturday night, they’re in the middle-class areas and the less wealthy areas.

“What you’d notice when you go into pubs is that it’s everywhere. You can hear people sniffing in toilets, people are doing it everywhere. It’s nearly become blase the way people are talking about it: ‘I’m gonna head out the weekend and do a few lines, yeah’.”

After the recent revelation that Pete Hegseth had secretly paid a financial settlement to a woman who had accused him of raping her in 2017, President-elect Donald Trump stood by his choice of Hegseth to become the next Secretary of Defense. Trump’s communications director, Steven Cheung, issued a statement noting that Hegseth, who has denied wrongdoing, has not been charged with any crime. “President Trump is nominating high-caliber and extremely qualified candidates to serve in his administration,” Cheung maintained.

  • “At one point, Hegseth had to be restrained while drunk from joining the dancers on the stage of a Louisiana strip club, where he had brought his team,” The New Yorker reported, citing the whistleblower report, which the magazine said was compiled by several former CVA employees and sent to the group’s senior management.
  • “The report also says that Hegseth, who was married at the time, and other members of his management team sexually pursued the organization’s female staffers, whom they divided into two groups — the ‘party girls’ and the ‘not party girls,’” The New Yorker’s Jane Mayer wrote.

Stauffenberg likewise came to view Hitler as a monster. Yet he was among those who joined the resistance late, having apparently been seduced by the initial successes of the Nazi war machine. During the 1939 invasion of Poland, he wrote that the “inhabitants are an unbelievable rabble” who would surely only be “comfortable under the knout,” and that “the thousands of prisoners-of-war will be good for our agriculture.” In a tacit sign of support for the regime, he even wed in a steel military helmet and honeymooned in Fascist Italy.

A few of the plotters committed horrific war crimes. Wolf-Heinrich von Helldorf, Berlin’s police chief, was notorious for harassing and extorting Jews; Arthur Nebe commanded a mobile death squad that murdered tens of thousands of Jews in territory conquered from the Soviet Union; and Georg Thomas was a driving force behind the so-called Hunger Plan, which aimed to starve to death millions of Soviet civilians.

Eduard Wagner, who provided Stauffenberg with a plane for the July 20, 1944, assassination attempt, was perhaps worst of all. Christian Gerlach, a professor of modern history at the University of Bern in Switzerland, who writes about the Holocaust, describes him as “a leading mass murderer,” responsible for “all sorts of atrocities,” including the “ghettoization of Jews” and the starvation of Soviet prisoners. Wagner moreover advocated for the siege of Leningrad, Gerlach says, “in which at least 600,000 civilians died, mainly of hunger and cold.”

Minnesota was a new frontier state in 1862, where white settlers were pushing out the Dakota Indians—also called the Sioux. A series of broken peace treaties culminated in the failure of the United States that summer to deliver promised food and supplies to the Indians, partial payment for their giving up their lands to whites.

The Indians responded in the Santee Sioux uprising, killing 490 white settlers. The Dakota were executed for their role in the war of self-defense.

LINCOLN'S DAKOTA LEGACY

Honest Indian Killer Abe: Lincoln’s treatment of defeated Indian rebels against the United States stood in sharp contrast to his treatment of Confederate rebels. He never ordered the executions of any Confederate officials or generals after the Civil War, even though they killed more than 400,000 Union soldiers. The only Confederate executed was the commander of Andersonville Prison—and for what we would call war crimes, not rebellion.

Growing up in Mankato, Minnesota, John Biewen says, nobody ever talked about the most important historical event ever to happen there: in 1862, it was the site of the largest mass execution in U.S. history. Thirty-eight Dakota Indians were hanged after a war with white settlers. John went back to Minnesota to figure out what really happened 153 years ago, and why Minnesotans didn’t talk about it much after.

Cartels hire on cartel support Jews: Israel Is Considered a “Genocidal, Apartheid Country” Abroad, According to Israel’s Own Research

Mark Penn’s Stagwell was commissioned by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs to chart a path out of global isolation.

Penn is a longtime ally of Likud, the party of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. His firm Penn & Schoen did polling for Menachim Begin in 1981, helping him win a narrow election. Begin had been commander of the terror group Irgun, and was the mastermind of the 1946 King David Hotel bombing, an attack on a nightclub that killed 91 people in an effort to drive the British out of Palestine. In 1982 he led an invasion of Lebanon so deadly to civilians that then-President Ronald Reagan told Begin it was reminiscent of the Holocaust. The subsequent occupation of southern Lebanon gave rise to Hezbollah and lasted until the year 2000.

Penn was close adviser to President Bill Clinton, but has since become a regular presence on Fox News and an ally of President Donald Trump. Stagwell owns SKDK, the Democratic firm co-founded by top Joe Biden adviser Anita Dunn.

What will we do today?

The Genocide in Gaza

  • At least 54 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli military across Gaza since dawn today, including 31 in Gaza City, as Israel intensifies its attack on the city, according to Al Jazeera. Eleven aid seekers were among those killed in attacks in the central and southern parts of Gaza.
  • In the past 24 hours, Gaza’s Health Ministry reported an additional 84 killed and 338 injured arriving at hospitals. At least 17 aid seekers were killed and 174 Injured. Over the past 24 hours, three more people were starved to death by Israel. This brings the total of famine deaths to 370, including 131 children and the recorded death toll from the Israeli genocide in Gaza to 64,231 and 161,583 injuries.
  • Overnight in Gaza City, Israeli bombardment devastated multiple areas with multiple strikes within the span of 30 minutes, leaving dozens dead and wounded. The strikes hit homes, tents sheltering displaced families, and the area around Al-Quds Hospital, with children among the victims.
  • Channel 12 reports that IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir is preparing to warn Netanyahu’s government that proceeding with the assault to seize Gaza City could force Israel to impose direct military rule over the entire Strip starting in November. Zamir has reportedly told the Security Cabinet that the current plan leaves no alternative for the post-war period and has urged acceptance of a ceasefire tied to the release of captives. While he says he would carry out orders if given, he cautions that the operation could have severe military and diplomatic consequences.
  • A joint investigation by +972 Magazine, Local Call, and The Guardian found that Israel is holding roughly 4,500 Palestinians from Gaza under the “Unlawful Combatants Law,” with only one in four registered as military operatives. Most detainees—elderly patients, doctors, children, and other civilians—are being held indefinitely without charge or trial, often subjected to abuse, torture, and overcrowded conditions. Israeli courts largely approve these detentions based on secret evidence, while testimonies describe mass arrests directly from hospitals, schools, and checkpoints. Cases include an 82-year-old Alzheimer’s patient and a mother of three detained due to mistaken identity, highlighting the arbitrary nature of the detentions.
  • The UN reported today that it cannot confirm any shelter supplies have reached Gaza since March 2, despite Israel’s pledge to allow aid amid orders to forcibly displace nearly a million Palestinians from Gaza City. According to a spokesperson, there has been no change since last week’s report, which also recorded zero deliveries. Even before this latest displacement wave, 1.4 million Palestinians were in urgent need of shelter assistance.
  • Between August 14–31, over 82,000 people in Gaza were newly displaced, including 30,000 from the north to the south, facing overcrowded and unsanitary conditions. UN-coordinated humanitarian missions faced significant obstacles, with nearly half delayed or unsuccessful.
  • Jordanian officials report that all humanitarian airdrops over Gaza have been suspended, with the last delivery occurring on August 26. Hussein Al-Shebli, head of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, told AFP the suspension was recent, while a government source cited unspecified “Israeli obstacles.” An AP report last week noted an Israeli official confirmed plans to halt airdrops and block aid trucks to northern Gaza, part of a strategy to forcibly displace hundreds of thousands of Palestinians south.
  • Israeli troops blew up Fourqan Elementary school along with other homes in Zeitoun Neighborhood

The international community must take decisive action. It must undertake military intervention, as mandated under international law, to force Israel to immediately end the violence, to allow unrestricted humanitarian aid into Gaza, and to give Palestinians the freedom they are entitled to. International journalists must be granted immediate access to collect whatever evidence remains of Israel’s crimes before it disappears under the cover of “military operations”.

It is time the world starts believing Palestinians. For 22 months, Palestinians have said this is genocide. They have said it while stuck under the rubble, while starving, while carrying their children’s bodies. They said Israel was not defending itself but trying to erase Palestinians. They said occupation and ethnic cleansing are the goal. Israeli politicians themselves have said it.

Without urgent international action, the words “never again” will refer not to the prevention of genocide, but to the existence of Palestinian life in Gaza. The truth so many Palestinians have died to tell must not be buried with their bodies. — Israel is occupying Gaza to clean up the crime scene, Israel wants to destroy evidence of its war crimes and prepare the ground for the expulsion of Palestinians. Ahmad Ibsais

“Settler madness.” — Sanity and insanity in the West Bank.

[A Bedouin child of Deir Alla.]

I begin this presentation by showing you pictures of the community of Deir Alla. This was a small Bedouin gathering of seventeen families in the Governorate of Bethlehem. These families are the direct descendants of people who have lived as goatherds and shepherds in the same area for generations. One month ago, in the last week of July, Deir Alla was ethnically cleansed and completely destroyed.

What you are about to see are stark images of humanity and inhumanity, rationality and irrationality. I want you to consider these images in the context of our conference on reason and humanity. This is what the clash between reason and unreason looks like in the West Bank of Occupied Palestine.

Palestine—Gaza and the West Bank—is where the West comes face-to-face with who we are and what we’ve become, as Westerners and Western nations. And what we see, we Westerners, when we look at ourselves, is the fundamental irrationality embedded in the Western project since the beginning of colonialism.

Here it is, Jews and their child abuse:

The following three images are screenshots from a video of another incident in which settlers harassed the same family. The boy with the side curls holds a stick. The armed man stands back and tells the boy what to do.

Indoctrination. The manufacture of racism. (With permission.)

This is called rage-baiting. The settlers are trying to provoke a reaction so they can call the I.O.F. and escalate the violence. Here the Jewish boy is focusing his aggression on the smaller Palestinian boy.

This is sociopathic behavior. This boy’s mind has been damaged if not destroyed. He’s been force-marched into a state of complete irrationality. He’s been taught to hate Palestinians and to take pleasure in tormenting and bullying them. In a few years he’ll go into the army. As a civilian he’ll carry an assault rifle.

That way, researchers, developers and policymakers can identify the ways AI can go wrong and define the best ways to mitigate risks based on the type of failure.

The study also proposes “therapeutic robopsychological alignment,” a process the researchers describe as a kind of “psychological therapy” for AI.

With therapeutic alignment in mind, the project proposes the use of therapeutic strategies employed in human interventions like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Psychopathia Machinalis is a partly speculative attempt to get ahead of problems before they arise — as the research paper says, “by considering how complex systems like the human mind can go awry, we may better anticipate novel failure modes in increasingly complex AI.”

Anouska De Georgiou, the first survivor of Epstein and his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell to step to the podium, said the victims are coming together to have their voices be heard.

“This is a Democrat hoax that never ends,” Trump claimed.

Survivor after survivor, however, implored lawmakers to back a bipartisan push from Republican Rep. Thomas Massie and Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna to compel the Justice Department to publicly release the Epstein files.

People wait to watch a parade marking Vietnam’s 80th National Day anniversary, at a street in Hanoi, Vietnam Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025. (Luong Thai Linh/Pool Photo via AP)

And what does ABC or CNN or FOX News expect of country invaded by Whities?

Vietnam marked its National Day on Tuesday with its largest military parade in decades, as thousands packed the streets of the capital, Hanoi, after many camped overnight to witness the grand display marking 80 years of independence.

The parade unfolded at Ba Dinh Square, the site where revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh declared independence from French colonial rule on Sept. 2, 1945.

Fighting resumed soon after as Vietnamese forces battled the French in the First Indochina War, which ended in 1954 when the country was divided into Communist North and U.S.-backed South. The Vietnam War followed, during which the Communist North fought the South and its American allies. That conflict ended when Communist forces captured Saigon on April 30, 1975 and the country was unified.

Vietnam’s top leader, Communist Party General Secretary To Lam, paid tribute to those who died in the fight for independence and reiterated the ruling party’s goal that by 2045 Vietnam will be a “powerful, prosperous and happy nation,” calling it “the aspiration of the entire nation, an oath of honor before history.”

“We want to be a friend, be a trusted partner with all countries in the world,” he said, adding that Hanoi would never compromise on independence or sovereignty.

Columns of troops marched past as tanks, armored vehicles, and missile systems rumbled by. Helicopters flew overhead trailing giant Vietnamese flags followed by jets while a military band played martial tunes below.

How disability can become a death sentence in Gaza today

Middle East Eye:

Since October 07 2023, Gaza has experienced what UNRWA’s commissioner-general, Philippe Lazzarini, has described as a “pandemic of disabilities”, with thousands of Palestinians subjected to the horrors of limb amputation, spinal cord injury, life-changing burns, and traumatic brain injury at the hands of Israeli occupying forces.

There have been more than 4,500 documented amputations, and many thousands of cases of spinal and brain injuries, a disproportionate number afflicting children. A year ago, a World Health Organisation analysis estimated that between 13,455 and 17,550 Palestinians in Gaza had suffered severe limb injuries, placing an unimaginable burden on near non-existent rehabilitation services.

In Israel’s genocide of Palestinians, the production of mass individual disability and the institutional disablement of a once-functioning society in Gaza are both critical elements in advancing Israel’s Zionist goal of eliminating Palestinians.

According to a report by UN Humanitarian Coordinator Sigrid Kaag, in less than a year, Israel had inflicted life-changing injuries on more than 22,500 people in Gaza – a figure that has undoubtedly risen dramatically.

Discussion about this post

The hardest part is not their cruelty. It is their comfort with it.

Comfortably lobotomized!

I asked Hal, the AI of Jewish Google version that is:

Hal? “America is a lobotomized society?”

Answer: The phrase “America is a lobotomized society” is a metaphor suggesting that American society, like a patient who underwent a lobotomy, has become dull, docile, or has suffered a loss of critical thinking and individual capacity. This interpretation is supported by the historical “lobotomy boom” in the mid-20th century, during which the procedure was widely used in the U.S. to control difficult patients. The metaphor highlights concerns about conformity, lack of critical engagement with issues, and the impact of societal structures on its members.

ABC News just handed Donald Trump exactly what he wanted: a crime panic narrative that makes his threat to send federal troops to Chicago seem reasonable, even necessary.

On Tuesday, ABC published a piece by Bill Hutchinson that opened with “At least 58 people have been shot, eight fatally, across Chicago over Labor Day weekend.” The article then spent the next 34 paragraphs detailing every shooting, every victim, every crime scene. Only after this avalanche of violence porn did ABC get around to mentioning a rather important fact: Chicago’s violent crime has actually dropped to historic lows this year. Shootings are down 37%. Homicides have fallen by 32%.

‘They Will Manufacture a Crisis’: Keith Ellison on How Trump Plans to Stay Beyond 2028

AmeriKKKa has always been primed for the Semen Drip Dictator.

Since Donald Trump took office in January, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison has filed or joined more than 30 lawsuits against the president and his administration. That includes challenging executive orders on birthright citizenship and voting restrictions to the freezing of billions in federal funding for Education Department programming and banning trans athletes from participating in girls’ and women’s sports.

The veteran Democratic Party politician joins Mehdi to discuss his lawsuits against Trump, what happens if the president decides to send the military to Minneapolis, and ICE’s mass immigration crackdown across the country.

Ellison tells Mehdi that the US is in the midst of a “fascist authoritarian takeover … in the light of Hitler,” and noted that while he doesn’t have full faith in the courts to stop Trump’s lawlessness, “I do believe in us collectively as a nation, we can protect ourselves and advance our democracy.”

A fucking association for genocide?

The world’s leading genocide scholars’ association has overwhelmingly passed a resolution saying that the legal criteria have been met to establish that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. Eighty-six per cent of those who voted among the 500-member International Association of Genocide Scholars backed the resolution declaring: “Israel’s policies and actions in Gaza meet the legal definition of genocide in Article II of the United Nations Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (1948)“.

Not a fucking thing said at a sold-out concert Sunday in Newport, OREGON, a concert to support the community radio station, no less, that one with “Democracy Now” and David Barsamian, not one keffiyeh but mine, not one moment of tribute to Gazans, or silence.

Disgusting:

“We are fun, we are high energy and we primarily play blues and rock, Americana and bluegrass,” Roudman said. “When you come to our concert, we’re not like a normal band that has a predetermined set list with a bunch of songs, and this one comes after that. We have about 60 to 70 songs memorized, and we just kind of pick them on the spot, depending on what the audience is digging. So, let’s say they’re liking blues more than rock. Well, we’re going to play more blues for them. In a lot of ways, the audience determines what we’re going to play.”

Sunday’s show begins at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Heritage Center, 333 S.E. Bay Blvd. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. For more information and tickets, go to http://www.KYAQ.org.

Israeli forces killed at least 98 Palestinians in Gaza on Monday, including at least 12 aid seekers. In total, Israel has killed at least 2,306 aid seekers since May 27, 2025 (learn about aid seekers here).

Among the dead were a pregnant woman and her unborn baby, killed near the Shati refugee camp.

The total known number of Palestinians who have died from malnutrition stands at 361, including 130 children.

So so real, man: Ahmad Ibsais

Future Lawyers Don’t Understand Murder

When it happens to Palestinians…

Ahmad Ibsais

The classroom feels smaller than I remembered, like the walls have moved closer while I was gone. Professor X assigns readings on constitutional interpretation, and I watch twenty-three students highlight passages about due process while Palestinians are denied the most basic right of all: the right to exist. The girl next to me underlines “equal protection under law” in yellow marker, and I wonder if she knows that phrase is meaningless when some lives are worth more than others.

“The framers intended,” someone says, and I stop listening. The framers intended many things, but they could not have intended for us to sit in air-conditioned rooms debating legal theory while children suffocate under rubble. They could not have intended for us to parse the meaning of justice while justice dies in real time, broadcast live, ignored by everyone in this room.

During breaks, I sit on the steps and watch them. They cluster in their familiar groups, talking about internships and weekend plans and whether Professor Y is a hard grader. Their voices float past me, a steady stream of nothing that matters.

“I’m so stressed about the bar exam.” “Are you going to the Football game this weekend?” “My parents want me to come home for Labor Day, but like, I have so much reading.”

I listen for something else, anything else. I wait for one of them to mention that children are being murdered while we debate constitutional amendments. I wait for someone to say the word Palestinian, or genocide, or even just acknowledge that the world exists beyond their study guides and social calendars. I wait for an hour, and then another, and I hear nothing.

In another class, we discuss mens rea and actus reus, the guilty mind and the guilty act. Professor Z explains how intent matters, how knowledge of wrongdoing affects culpability. I think about my classmates’ guilty minds, their knowledge of genocide coupled with their deliberate choice to say nothing. I think about their guilty acts of scrolling past videos of dying children to double-tap vacation photos. But this kind of guilt will never be prosecuted. This kind of crime never sees the inside of a courtroom.

“Can someone give me an example of willful blindness?” Z asks.

I could give twenty-three examples right here in this room, but I stay quiet.

This is my new reality. Sitting in rooms with people who revealed themselves to be the kind of people who would have looked away during any other genocide. Listening to them complain about reading assignments while Palestinians are denied the right to read anything ever again. Watching them stress about internships while Palestinian children will never have the chance to worry about their futures.

The loneliness is not in being alone. The loneliness is in being surrounded by people who chose to be strangers to their own moral obligations. It is in sharing space with those who had the chance to speak and chose silence, who had the opportunity to care and chose comfort, who had the moment to act and chose nothing.

At the coffee shop, I overhear a conversation about whether the new professor is mean. At the library, someone complains that their laptop is slow. In the dining hall, a group debates which Netflix show to binge next. Normal life continues, mundane concerns persist, and the world beyond their bubble might as well not exist.

The hardest part is not their cruelty. It is their comfort with it. It is how easily they moved on, how quickly they forgot, how completely they have convinced themselves that their silence was not a choice. They live their lives as if Palestinian children were not buried alive while they read for evidence.

I am back now, walking through classrooms where professors teach about human rights while ignoring the most basic human right being violated in real time. I am surrounded by people who think my people’s elimination is too complicated to have an opinion about, whose cowardice proved stronger than their morality.

And I still carry shame that I must even share the same air.

RELIGION is LOBOTOMY COLLECTIVELY!

The vice-president of the International Court of Justice said, ‘The Lord is counting on me to stand on the side of Israel.’ How did we get here?

Julia Sebutinde, Ugandan and vice-president of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), was the only judge on a 17-member ICJ panel who voted against all six measures in the ruling in January 2024 that Israel is “plausibly” committing genocide in Gaza. Even the Israeli judge on the panel voted in favor of some of the measures.

(In case you’re interested, the Arab Organization for Human Rights in the UK (AOHR UK) is calling for the removal of Judge Sebutinde, because this stunt of hers breached Articles 2 and 18 of the Court’s Statute.

Article 2 of the Court’s Statute requires judges to display integrity, impartiality, and independence. Should any of these conditions be breached, Article 18 provides that the judge concerned must be removed with the consent of the other Members of the Court.

The AOHR UK added that Judge Sebutinde has not only abandoned impartiality and integrity but has also expressed messianic religious ideas that encourage the perpetuation of the crime of genocide, which has already claimed tens of thousands of victims, the majority of whom are women, children, and the elderly.)

Peter and Karim, in Hong Kong, were open to an interview, on my Labor Day and their Tuesday as their classes are starting at the Chinese University of HK

Part One:

Part two of the interview:

Here’s Karim’s latest post, the intro:

The most insidious aspect of Western hegemony isn’t its military might or economic stranglehold—it’s the psychological conditioning that makes its victims defend the very system destroying them. Across the globe, millions have been programmed to worship at the altar of Western “civilization,” even as it systematically dismantles their societies, exploits their resources, and condemns their children to servitude.

This conditioning runs so deep that pointing out the West’s crimes triggers defensive reflexes in people who should know better. They’ve been taught to conflate criticism of Western imperialism with hatred of ordinary Western people, when the real target should be the oligarchic structures that exploit everyone—including most Westerners themselves.

You Have Nothing to Say

The facade of Western democracy crumbled under academic scrutiny when Princeton University’s landmark study by Martin Gilens and Benjamin Page definitively proved what many had long suspected: America is not a democracy but an oligarchy. Their analysis of 1,779 policy outcomes over two decades revealed that ordinary citizens have virtually zero influence on government policy, while economic elites and organized business groups wield decisive power.

This isn’t a bug in the system—it’s the feature. The oligarchs who control Western governments have spent centuries perfecting methods of control that go far beyond crude authoritarianism. They’ve created a matrix of psychological manipulation that makes people believe they’re free while their every choice is constrained by oligarchic interests.

These same oligarchs who manipulate Western populations extend their control globally through economic domination of other nations’ resources. Jeffrey Sachs, another Ivy League professor and once a darling of the Western economic establishment, experienced his own awakening when he witnessed firsthand how the system crushes any threat to oligarchic resource extraction. His studies on Venezuela expose the deliberate destruction of nations that dare to chart independent courses—particularly when those courses involve nationalizing oil reserves that Western oligarchs had grown accustomed to plundering.

Break Your Psychological Chains to an Evil called “The West”

One of their favorite guests, and mine too: Assal Rad, Peter and Karim examine the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the failure of international institutions to respond effectively. The conversation explores how Israeli propaganda has become increasingly ineffective as images of starvation make their justifications harder to sell, yet Western governments continue providing unwavering support despite shifting public opinion.

Man, oh, man, the Jews of Israel have solid genocidal ground to stand on: Let us put this in a historical perspective: the commemoration of the War to End All Wars acknowledges that 15 million lives were lost in the course of World War I (1914-18).

The loss of life in the Second World War (1939-1945) was on a much larger scale, when compared to World War I: 60 million lives, both military and civilian, were lost during World War II. (Four times those killed during World War I).

The largest WWII casualties were China and the Soviet Union:

  • 26 million in the Soviet Union,
  • China estimates its losses at approximately 20 million deaths.

Ironically, these two countries (allies of the US during WWII) which lost a large share of their population during WWII are now under the Biden-Harris administration categorized as “enemies of America”, which are threatening the Western World.

Germany and Austria lost approximately 8 million people during WWII, Japan lost more than 2.5 million people. The US and Britain respectively lost more than 400,000 lives.

This carefully researched article by James A. Lucas documents the more than 20 million lives lost resulting from US led wars, military coups and intelligence ops carried out in the wake of WWII, in what is euphemistically called the “post-war era” (1945- ).

The extensive loss of life in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Ukraine and Libya, Palestine is not included in this study.

Nor are the millions of deaths resulting from extreme poverty.

The U.S. Has Killed More Than 20 Million People in 37 “Victim Nations” Since World War II

by James A. Lucas

After the catastrophic attacks of September 11 2001 monumental sorrow and a feeling of desperate and understandable anger began to permeate the American psyche. A few people at that time attempted to promote a balanced perspective by pointing out that the United States had also been responsible for causing those same feelings in people in other nations, but they produced hardly a ripple. Although Americans understand in the abstract the wisdom of people around the world empathizing with the suffering of one another, such a reminder of wrongs committed by our nation got little hearing and was soon overshadowed by an accelerated “war on terrorism.”

But we must continue our efforts to develop understanding and compassion in the world. Hopefully, this article will assist in doing that by addressing the question “How many September 11ths has the United States caused in other nations since WWII?” This theme is developed in this report which contains an estimated numbers of such deaths in 37 nations as well as brief explanations of why the U.S. is considered culpable.

The causes of wars are complex. In some instances nations other than the U.S. may have been responsible for more deaths, but if the involvement of our nation appeared to have been a necessary cause of a war or conflict it was considered responsible for the deaths in it. In other words they probably would not have taken place if the U.S. had not used the heavy hand of its power. The military and economic power of the United States was crucial.

This study reveals that U.S. military forces were directly responsible for about 10 to 15 million deaths during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and the two Iraq Wars. The Korean War also includes Chinese deaths while the Vietnam War also includes fatalities in Cambodia and Laos.

The American public probably is not aware of these numbers and knows even less about the proxy wars for which the United States is also responsible. In the latter wars there were between nine and 14 million deaths in Afghanistan, Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, East Timor, Guatemala, Indonesia, Pakistan and Sudan.

But the victims are not just from big nations or one part of the world. The remaining deaths were in smaller ones which constitute over half the total number of nations. Virtually all parts of the world have been the target of U.S. intervention.

The overall conclusion reached is that the United States most likely has been responsible since WWII for the deaths of between 20 and 30 million people in wars and conflicts scattered over the world.

To the families and friends of these victims it makes little difference whether the causes were U.S. military action, proxy military forces, the provision of U.S. military supplies or advisors, or other ways, such as economic pressures applied by our nation. They had to make decisions about other things such as finding lost loved ones, whether to become refugees, and how to survive.

And the pain and anger is spread even further. Some authorities estimate that there are as many as 10 wounded for each person who dies in wars. Their visible, continued suffering is a continuing reminder to their fellow countrymen.

It is essential that Americans learn more about this topic so that they can begin to understand the pain that others feel. Someone once observed that the Germans during WWII “chose not to know.” We cannot allow history to say this about our country. The question posed above was “How many September 11ths has the United States caused in other nations since WWII?” The answer is: possibly 10,000. — James A. Lucas

Here, a bio on Karim:

I am interested in how the asymmetrical cultural flow from the West into societies across the world, reinforced by corporate hegemony in a neoliberal global political economy (e.g., dominance in the spheres of social media, the movie industry and fashion), influences the individual psychology of the global population. In particular, the effects of racism/white supremacy, capitalism and colonialism hold my strong attention. My research revolves around questions such as: Why do racism and colorism follow highly similar patterns across the globe; How do (Western) social media platforms perpetuate racial hierarchies in cultures across the globe; What are the psychological ramifications of colonialism; What is the relationship between neoliberal political economies and our understanding of human nature?

We didn’t even scratch the surface of Political Economy: Peter Phillips, former director of Project Censored and professor of Political Sociology at Sonoma State University. His new book “Giants: The Global Power Elite” details the 17 transnational investment firms which control over $50 trillion in wealth—and how they are kept in power by their activists, facilitators and protectors.

Ahh, Peter Beattie said things have been messed up for 10,000 years: Think about this evolution of the brain and psyche for two million years, or more, and now what, the Fertile Crescent fucked us up big TIME.

  • 2 million years ago: The earliest evidence of a hunter-gatherer culture emerges with the appearance of the genus Homo.
  • 1.9 million years ago: The lifestyle became more developed and accelerated with Homo erectus, a species with a larger brain and physique suited for long-distance walking to acquire meat.
  • 700,000 to 40,000 years ago: Hunting and gathering was the way of life for later hominins, including Homo heidelbergensis and Neanderthals, who used increasingly sophisticated tools.
  • 200,000 years ago to ~12,000 years ago: The hunter-gatherer lifestyle continued through most of the existence of our own species, Homo sapiens. This period ended with the Neolithic Revolution, which led to the development of agriculture.

Locking up the food and fencing in the hunter/ gatherer and nomadic and pastoral lands caused:

  • Social stratification
  • Specialization and gender roles
  • Warfare

While in 1995 there appeared to have been at least a 1,500-year gap between plant and animal domestication, it now seems that both occurred at roughly the same time, with initial management of morphologically wild future plant and animal domesticates reaching back to at least 11,500 cal BP, if not earlier. A focus on the southern Levant as the core area for crop domestication and diffusion has been replaced by a more pluralistic view that sees domestication of various crops and livestock occurring, sometimes multiple times in the same species, across the entire region. Morphological change can no longer be held to be a leading-edge indicator of domestication. Instead, it appears that a long period of increasingly intensive human management preceded the manifestation of archaeologically detectable morphological change in managed crops and livestock. Agriculture in the Near East arose in the context of broad-based systematic human efforts at modifying local environments and biotic communities to encourage plant and animal resources of economic interest. This process took place across the entire Fertile Crescent during a period of dramatic post-Pleistocene climate and environmental change with considerable regional variation in the scope and intensity of these activities as well as in the range of resources being manipulated.

Against the Grain: How Agriculture Has Hijacked Civilization

The evolutionary road is littered with failed experiments, however, and Manning suggests that agriculture as we have practiced it runs against both our grain and nature’s. Drawing on the work of anthropologists, biologists, archaeologists, and philosophers, along with his own travels, he argues that not only our ecological ills-overpopulation, erosion, pollution-but our social and emotional malaise are rooted in the devil’s bargain we made in our not-so-distant past. And he offers personal, achievable ways we might re-contour the path we have taken to resurrect what is most sustainable and sustaining in our own nature and the planet’s.

We talked about soft (not mashed banana) power:

Edward Bernays’ promotional stunts were only a smokescreen for a not-so-innocent deep-state strategy. With sly public relations tactics, he began to influence American media toward discrediting the new Guatemalan President and ultimately incite action against the duly-elected leader. In 1954, a CIA-backed coup d’état turned the government of Guatemala over to what was ostensibly a leader hand-picked by the U.S. government and indirectly by a U.S. corporation — the United Fruit Company.

The media create frames to transmit information to the public, and the frames can have varying effects on public opinion depending on how they combine with people’s values and deep-seated cultural narratives. This study examines the effects of media frames and values on people’s choice of resolution of conflict. The results show that neither values nor exposure to frames are associated with outcome. Participants overwhelmingly chose the humanitarian intervention option regardless of frame exposure and even in contrast to their own political values, demonstrating the influence of the mainstream media’s dominant, humanitarian interventionist frame on public opinion.

In early 2013, the Syrian crisis was growing worse by the day, and violence was escalating at a rapid pace. Then–U.S. president Barack Obama was weighing the option of a full-scale military intervention, based on humanitarian grounds, in the troubled state. Islamic State was wreaking havoc throughout the country; however, it was Syrian president Bashar al-Assad who was primarily making the headlines in the United States for alleged atrocities and violations of the Geneva Accords and human rights. The seemingly perpetual beat of war drums in the United States did not take long to sound off, and they grew louder each day President Obama did not declare war on Assad. The media played along, and, generally, so did the political elite. Even former U.S. president Bill Clinton contributed by stating that if Obama chose not to go to war because Congress voted against it, he would risk “looking like a total wuss” (Voorhees, 2013)—a feeble and desperate attempt to demean the president into taking the United States to war. Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton and Senator John McCain, never ones to shy away from a military confrontation (Johnstone, 2015; Landler, 2016), echoed Bill Clinton’s sentiment as they were both displeased with Obama’s foreign policy decision making on Syria (Landler, 2016; Voorhees, 2013). Highly emotive phrases—popular in interventionist frames—such as, “History will judge us,” “We don’t want to be on the wrong side of history,” “We cannot look the other way,” “The world is watching us,” and “What will and “What will the world think,” dominated the headlines and news reports. Then–secretary of state John Kerry touched on almost all of these in his speech at a State Department briefing in August 2013, at a time when President Obama was deliberating possible recourses in response to an alleged chemical attack by Assad’s forces.

Kerry stated,

As previous storms in history have gathered, when unspeakable crimes were within our power to stop them, we have been warned against the temptations of looking the other way. . . . What we choose to do or not do matters in real ways to our own security. Some cite the risk of doing things. But we need to ask, “What is the risk of doing nothing?” . . . So our concern is not just about some far-off land oceans away. That’s not what this is about. Our concern with the cause of the defenseless people of Syria is about choices that will directly affect our role in the world and our interests in the world. It is also profoundly about who we are. We are the United States of America. We are the country that has tried, not always successfully, but always tried to honor a set of universal values around which we have organized our lives and our aspirations. . . . My friends, it matters here if nothing is done. It matters if the world speaks out in condemnation and then nothing happens. History would judge us all extraordinarily harshly if we turned a blind eye to a dictator’s wanton use of weapons of mass destruction.

Continued, Beattie:

One of the main cultural themes in the United States is the nationalism theme, with the global responsibility nationalism theme—which emerged after World War II—being the most dominant. As Gamson (1992) articulates, “With the advent of World War II and the cold war, public discourse fully embraced the global responsibility theme” (p. 142), and the American public threw its support behind the United Nations and the idea of collective security. Democrats and Republicans alike “embraced a dominant U.S. role in the creation of political-military alliances, not only in Europe but in other regions as well” (Gamson, 1992, p. 142). The global responsibility theme was the dominant theme during the Cold War and the framing of the U.S. doctrine of containment, and it continues to be the dominant theme today in the framing of the humanitarian interventionist doctrine.

Prior to World War II, the “America first” nationalist theme was the most dominant; however, the global responsibility (then) countertheme was still quite prevalent. When the America first theme was dominant, the kind of isolationism that it supported “was never incompatible with expansionism in what was regarded as U.S. turf” (Gamson, 1992, p. 141); therefore, the global responsibility (at that time) countertheme actually supported the America first theme rather than countering it. The Monroe Doctrine is evidence of this compatibility, because it reinforced American isolationism—by telling European powers to stay out of the Americas—yet supported U.S. expansionism. The global responsibility countertheme was “reflected in the idea of America’s international mission as a light unto nations” (Gamson, 1992, pp. 141–142), with the belief that the “expansion of American influence in the world would bring enlightenment to backward peoples and confer upon them the bounties of Christianity and American political genius” (p. 142). The global responsibility (then) countertheme clearly embodied the notion of American exceptionalism, just as it does today as the dominant nationalism theme. Nevertheless, we would like to make it clear that we are not claiming that deep-seated cultural narratives in the United States are necessarily pro–humanitarian interventionist. What we are claiming, and will substantiate throughout this section, is that the U.S. media and political elites have tapped into a deep-seated cultural narrative to gain support for pro–humanitarian intervention policy options.

Many Americans believe, just as Kerry and other political elites publicly pronounce, that their country does try to honor a set of universal values around which they have organized their lives and aspirations and that these values include the notion that the United States is the leading “defender of democracy and human rights” around the world and that it is “exceptional.” Regardless of whether political elites actually believe this or whether it is simply rhetoric on their part, the mere invocation of this notion to justify war (much of the time conducted illegally—without United Nations or congressional approval) is troubling on its own. For instance, American exceptionalism “originally meant that the U.S. had a God given duty to impose its government and ‘way of life’ on lands not already under its control” (Pestana, 2016, para. 3), and it was, therefore, used to justify American imperialism. In more recent times, however, American exceptionalism has morphed into a more idealistic notion, being viewed as a

belief that the American political system is unique in its form, and that the American people have an exceptional commitment to liberty and democracy. By virtue of this, American exceptionalists assert that America has a providential mission to spread its values around the world. American power is viewed as naturally good, leading to the proliferation of freedom and democracy. (Britton, 2006, p. 128)

Just how do you, Americano, deal with this psychically?

Proving grounds, really, how far can the fascist go, and again, tweeking everything in the Police States of the West in order to see where the blind spots are in order to create this digital panopticon:

As researcher Alison McDowell explains:

“Powerful interests are using the Sustainable Development Goals to mask their plans to remake the world as a digital panopticon.

“Financiers are going to claim they’re doing positive things with their portfolios by configuring asset allocations to align with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and that’s where the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals come in.

“It is the sustainability goals that will open the door to smart city infrastructure with facial recognition, cashless economiesbig data analytics, and artificial intelligence used to implement broad threat assessments; the threat of natural disasters as well as threats posed by individual dissidents and groups”.

In Paul Cudenec’s April 2021 article ‘Divide, rule and profit: the intersectional impact racket’, he described how the “woke” agenda, often fronted by black and brown puppets rather than the traditional “WASP” ones, is being used to advance this sinister agenda and, in particular, impact capitalism.

It comes as no surprise at all, then, to see the Ford Foundation declare its support for this exploitative Zionist-heavy global racket, which he recently nicknamed “Zimpact Slavery.”

It states: “Impact investing is on the rise, and as more investors see the benefits of striving for a more inclusive form of capitalism, the need for relevant tracking and data on this progress is becoming increasingly important”.

Yeah, UBI is the digital hell it never promises to be:

universal-basic-income-a-beginners-guide_v5-1

If universal basic income is the answer, what is the question? Jeff Manza

UBI as the utopian future of capitalism? One justification for a UBI is that it might offer a new agenda for a 21st Century left. Kenworthy’s diagnosis of social democratic capitalism may be convincing as it stands, but it also lacks any significant utopian ambition to move significantly beyond Theory and Society the Scandinavian welfare states. UBI, by contrast, not only at least potentially provides material well-being for all, but also could unlock a pathway to fundamentally rewiring capitalism. Key to the radical ambitions of UBI is the provision of an ex ante benefit, more or less the opposite of what social democratic benefits provide in filling gaps for those who cannot earn an adequate market income. Some of the most attractive defenses of UBI focus on its transformative, even utopian, possibilities. A particularly inspiring and beautifully written defense of the utopian aims of UBI is provided by the Dutch journalist Ruger Bregman (in his Utopia for Realists). Bregman advances the case for UBI with an impressively informed reading of the relevant social science literature and data on both contemporary labor markets and the threat of job displacement from technological advances associated with artificial intelligence. Unlike the gloom that motivates some supporters of UBI (e.g., a fear of a jobless future), Bregman starts from a refreshingly optimistic position about human progress: “Let’s start with a little history lesson.

In the past, everything was worse” (p. 1). For Bregman, UBI is a “realist” utopian option precisely because technological advances and economic abundance (at least in the rich countries) have reached the point where we could, indeed, should be celebrating the declining need for human labor (and stop pushing every able-bodied person into the labor force, as even the most generous social democratic welfare states do). Instead of dreading the arrival of AI and job displacement, Bregman suggests the opposite: this is a great thing for human freedom, not something to be feared (whereas for social democrats, massive job losses would alter the welfare state formula in significant ways). If we don’t need the same levels of human labor to sustain contemporary lifestyles in the future (at least average ones, if not those of rich people), UBI would serve as the best mechanism to distribute the fruits of technology more fairly. Bregman suggests job sharing, with something like a standard 15-hour workweek. The greatly reduced importance of work in individual lives would, he thinks, have all sorts of other implications.

For one thing, we will need to prepare as much for the productive use of leisure as the world of work. For example, educational systems might stop obsessing about producing ever more STEM graduates, and return instead to the classical ambition of a liberal education to “spend time on the things that genuinely matter to us,” such as “art, history, and philosophy” (p. 172).

Now there is a plan to save the humanities! The full utopian vision for UBI is most rigorously defended in the many writings of the eminence grise of the contemporary UBI movement, Philippe Van Parijs. A charismatic Belgian philosopher and one of the core members of the legendary “analytical Marxism” group in the late 1980s, Van Parijs and a small group of collaborators first convened in the mid-1980s what they called the Basic Income Europe Network (which has more recently gone global, with “Earth” as the new “E” in the acronym) to consider UBI as an alternative strategy for a left egalitarianism. BIEN has since served as a central node in the dissemination of UBI ideas, news, and policy and political developments.

Van Parijs’ first major intellectual statement in English, co-authored with Robert van der Veen, was a stirring blast entitled “A Capitalist Road to Communism” (published in 1986 in Theory and Society, followed by several skeptical comments and 13 Theory and Society a vigorous reply). As with Bregman, the starting premise of the paper was a bold puzzle: why, as abundance in the rich countries of the world, had reached unprecedented levels compared to a century earlier, has the demand for human toil barely changed?

Why, they asked in the mid-1980s, had Soviet-style socialism as well as European social democracy both largely failed in their historic mission to be a vehicle for achieving equality and reduction of working time? They suggested a shortcut – a universal basic income grant in the context of a capitalist economic system – that might serve as the ratchet to finally achieve the most utopian goals of the left. Freedom from mandatory toil was, after all, Marx and Engel’s ultimate vision for the communist future (in which humans would be free to “hunt in the morning, fish in the afternoon, rear cattle in the evening, criticize after dinner…without ever becoming hunter, fisherman, herdsman or critic).” UBI could be funded in large measure, they argued, by eliminating most of the “paternalistic” and service-oriented welfare state programs built around work and labor market earnings.

How many more… how many more talks, man?

Gazafication” specifically describes the application of methods resembling those used in Gaza, including:

  • Destruction of civilian infrastructure: Deliberately razing homes, roads, hospitals, and essential services to make an area uninhabitable.
  • Forcible displacement: The mass expulsion of a population from their homes, often justified by “counterterrorism” narratives.
  • Imposition of blockades and sieges: Isolating a population by restricting the movement of people, goods, and humanitarian aid.
  • Collective punishment: Punishing an entire population for the actions of a few, which is a violation of international law.
  • Military impunity: Acting with a perceived freedom from consequence, often with the support or complicity of powerful nations.

Gershon Baskin says that ‘the countries of the world that have relations with Israel and that don’t use their leverage to stop the Gaza genocide […] are complicit in it’.

And a great piece just out by Peter and Karim: Break Your Psychological Chains to an Evil called “The West”

Subtitle — Oligarchy’s propaganda machine has rewritten the history of a civilization that perfected industrial genocide as a story of progress and enlightenment.

Concluding paragraphs —

Liberation Requires Recognizing Western “Uncivilization”

Breaking free from oligarchic control begins with recognizing that everything you’ve been taught to value about “Western civilization” is a lie designed to make you complicit in your own exploitation. The freedom, democracy, and prosperity they promise exists only for the oligarchs themselves, while everyone else—including most people in Western countries—serves as expendable resources in their accumulation machine.

The path forward isn’t about hating Western people but about dismantling Western power structures. It requires recognizing that the oligarchy’s greatest fear isn’t military defeat but psychological liberation—the moment when enough people stop believing their lies and start building genuine alternatives.

The choice is stark: continue serving the oligarchs who are systematically destroying everything you claim to value, or break the psychological chains they’ve forged in your mind and join the growing global resistance to their death machine. The conditioning runs deep, but the truth runs deeper. The question is whether you’re ready to face it.

Karim — Ahh, the so-called Western mindset goes way back to the Iberians, those slavers and cross bearers of the Portuguese and Spanish and Italian line, with so many bankers and money changers working the silver and gold accounts, many Jewish.

But truly, in this Dystopia now, we must make it very clear that the outsized influence of a small tribe within the billionaire klan is taking us over so many cliffs. The reality for the past 300 years (back father, 1492) is that some mean and downtrodden and superstitious and racist folk from Europe came in and squatted and stole and razed and fenced in and paved over a new Eden.

Those men and women don’t get a pass, Karim. We are talking about complicity, and to remind you, there were no rallies against the concentration camps for the Japanese Americans, or what we did to the Mexicans even in the 20th Century, let alone NOW.

Look at Chavez Ravine as a microcosm of the modern-day fucking pioneer — theft theft theft.

Is this all the blame of the dopamine screen gods, or the TV boob tube creators, or the avalanche of consumerism a la Walmart and Costco?

Is it just the Edward Bernays psychological warfare on the consumer mind at play?

No “War is a Racket” mentioned in your piece? Or Eugene Debbs imprisoned for anti-war speeches and his socialism and he ran for president from the klink?

Again, that outsized influence now is Judaic — I don’t have to list the 130 openly rich Jewish billionaires from the Forbes list?

And what of the 40,000,000 million (I don’t believe any figure fed to me by Jewish controlled media, but let’s pretend) millionaires? Faustian bargainers? Eichmanns?

Breaking free of the oligarchy is collectively impossible when, hmm, this old canard is a reality: Upton Sinclair — ‘It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.’

The American, that is, the average one, is checked out or lobotomized or self-actualizing to the point of not minding the news or the negative vibes or the geopolitics of the world, let alone the mass murder in the Jewish Occupation paid for by Yankee Doodle Dany.

DH Lawrence:

“America is neither free nor brave, but a land of tight, iron-clanking little wills, everybody trying to put it over everybody else, and a land of men absolutely devoid of the real courage of trust, trust in life’s sacred spontaneity. They can’t trust life until they can control it.”

“The essential American soul is hard, isolate, stoic, and a killer. It has never yet melted.”

The psychology of shifting baseline disorder and inverted totalitarianism and a K12 school system based on Prussian obedience, and alas, a good Indian is a dead Indian, and a good Palestinian is a dead one, this permeates, man, and even the googy tie-dye t-shirt wearing Baby Boomer of 80 years of age still can’t stop loving Kamala and Obama, man, and here we are, then, lobotomized and infantilized and McDonalds-ized with pure Disneyfication of the fucking dumb-down society, well, I’d say be careful to just despise and hate the billionaires and the government thieves. Many millions of Americans want blood, dudes.

For he who returns lost property (to Gentiles) sins against the Law by increasing the power of the transgressors of the Law. It is praiseworthy, however, to return lost property if it is done to honor the name of God, namely, if by se doing, Christians will praise the Jews and look upon them as honorable people.”

In the cold areas of northern Europe, keeping homes warm on Shabbat was an ongoing struggle. Since homes were generally heated by coal- or wood-burning stoves, by Shabbat morning the fuel supply would be depleted and the fire in the stove would go out. Since all people are considered ill when it comes to extreme cold, the rabbis permitted asking a non-Jew to come and light the stove on Shabbat morning (SA 276:5). The non-Jew who did this was known as the “Shabbos goy.” Nowadays, however, when heaters are powered by electricity or gas and do not run out during Shabbat… Peninei Halakhah, Shabbat 25:5:4

The falling markets during the last year created ripples in the ranking of the World’s Jewish Billionaires • Mark Zuckerberg – who was ranked first in 2020 – lost most of his fortune and is now ranked seventh. Larry Ellison, who is now ranked 1st, Michael Dell, and the founders of Google – all of their fortunes grew significantly • Forbes Israel presents: 267 billionaires with a combined net worth of 1.7 trillion dollars

In many ways, the list of global Jewish billionaires is anything but a wealth list detailing total assets and net worth. A simple glance at the top of the list is enough to understand how much innovation; initiative, charisma, and intelligence are driving forces behind the names mentioned before you.

Tech Tech Tech Terrorists: Multi-billionaires such as Larry Ellison (Oracle), Larry Page and Sergey Brin (Google), Michael Dell (Dell Technologies), Jan Koum (WhatsApp) and Steve Ballmer (Microsoft) have created technology giants – and along the way, they accumulated a huge fortune.

We need a communal response to Israeli gov't and Canary Mission attacks on Palestine's advocates – Mondoweiss

The Forward has now run two important stories (here and here) on successive days on the covert strategy of the Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs and its right-wing NGO allies both in Israel and the United States, most prominently Canary Mission, to silence, marginalize and ultimately destroy the job and earnings prospects of young Americans on campus who have the temerity to advocate for Palestinian rights.

The attacks on student activists detailed in the articles are nasty, coordinated, and often have their intended effect: persuading students not to speak out, not to attend meetings, not to participate prominently in public debates and non-violent demonstrative events, and not to publicly support or vote in favor of Boycott, Divestment or Sanctions (“BDS”) resolutions publicizing, criticizing, and hoping to discourage Israel’s discriminatory racial policies disadvantaging and oppressing Palestinians. The fear of being “punished” for their advocacy, by being featured prominently on the anonymous Canary Mission website as a “racist” (how ironic!), and being “blacklisted” and deprived of future job opportunities after college, is in many cases apparently having the desired deterrent effect which is the object of the Israeli strategy.

As Ali Abunimah and Asa Winstanley first reported, the censored Al Jazeera documentary, “The Lobby – USA” identified pro-Israel oligarch Adam Milstein as “Canary Mission funder.”
