Okay, okay. I as just talking to North Arkansas Toothless in Wisconsin. First, he had another meeting (every three months, two months) with his probation officer. We are talking about 65 years old, and still on paper past the 36 month mark, and the fuck up that is the fucked up criminal injustice system has him on till he hits 71? He wants to leave North Arkansas and maybe hit Oregon and maybe hit Mexico and Nicaragua.
Here, over at my locked other Substack — Man Lost of Tribe: Terminal CVcelocity,
I am writing this quick one because Toothless in WIsconsin forgot one of my pieces where I highlighted this lunacy: Women in war: A pregnant soldier contemplates front-line return — Anna tries to settle in Lviv with her toddler as she prepares for the birth of her son and her eventual return to combat.
This is what a sick society is all about: prenatal kits for women in uniform with flak jackets and belly flaks while they are pregnant and fighting for NaziLandia:
More than 5,000 women are serving in the Ukrainian Army amid Russia’s ongoing invasion and occupation of their country. From special uniforms for pregnant soldiers to female toiletry kits, the Zemlyachky Foundation is tailoring military gear for Ukrainian women at war.
A Ukrainian charity is helping to outfit the country’s pregnant female soldiers.
Zemliachky’s co-founders told Insider the group has helped thousands of women since the war began.
Pregnant soldiers continue to serve in non-combat roles until they’re 7 months pregnant, the founders said.

Look, I could go on and on about Ukrainians I met in Spokane, Tacoma and Seattle. Hell, I remember them as a boy in Powell River, just north of Vancouver, B.C. I don’t want to get in a fight about bias and prejudice and over-generalizations.
Just here, in UkroNaziLandia: It wasn’t until 2018 that female soldiers were finally given the same status as men — and, according to Ukraine’s Defense Ministry, women now account for close to a one-fifth of Ukraine’s armed forces.
Just before the ceremony when she assumed command of a U.S. Army Reserve company in 2012, then-Capt. Kelly Bell felt nauseated. Concerned, her fellow Soldiers checked on her.
Bell explained that she just had morning sickness, after recently learning she had become pregnant with her first daughter. She wanted to attend the Army’s pre-command course but under the Army regulations at the time, pregnant Soldiers could not attend training classes.
“My application kept getting denied because I was pregnant even though it was 100% classroom settings,” said Bell, now a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserve. “I had a temporary profile, and I couldn’t go to the class. So, I had to wait until after she was born.”
Bell, the 7203rd Medical Support Unit commander in Hobart, Indiana has known pregnant Soldiers who have been facing challenging situations in the Army since she had her daughter nine years ago.
So, in February 2021 Bell joined together with other Soldier-parents to submit a white paper from the field that identified five obstacles that pregnant and postpartum Soldiers face in the Army. That white paper inspired a working group at the Army Headquarters, which has been comprehensively reviewing the Army’s pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood policies over the last year.
The result of that effort is the new Parenthood, Pregnancy and Postpartum Army Directive which has updated regulations for parents and families into the 12 policy changes included in the omnibus directive. (source)
“Soldiers were oftentimes using extreme measures to try to get back to a weight and body composition that would meet the standard; whether it was crash dieting, liquid dieting, or [diet] pills,” Bell said. “And a lot of Soldiers because they were trying to lose weight so fast, [stopped] breastfeeding.”
Anna calls her conscription into the military an accident. Before 2014, she had been employed in two separate jobs as a translator and accountant in Kyiv. Then she met Milena’s father, a soldier deployed to a battalion in the Luhansk province of eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region. At the time, armed conflict had just erupted there between pro-Russian separatist groups and Ukrainian government forces. With the surge in nationalism and a partner on the front, Anna decided it was the right moment for her to join the Ukrainian fight against Russian influence. Now, she says she can’t imagine working in any other setting.
“I followed him [her ex-partner] to Lysychansk, and got used to fighting very quickly. I’ve seen everything, and now nothing can shock me,” she says. Her first deployment was in the Luhansk I battalion in Lysychansk, fighting for months at a time in the trenches. She vividly remembers her hands shaking the first time she fired her rifle at enemy troops, even though she says she had been a very good shooter during her training. “When you’re in combat, you learn to differentiate between different kinds of sounds — whether its tanks, air raids or other vehicles — in the same way you learn to identify birdsong.”
Stars and Stripes, which has been ahead of other news media on the story, reports today that “seven U.S. soldiers, including three men, have already been punished under six-week-old rules making pregnancy a violation of military law in northern Iraq.”
ABC News reports that “National Organization for Women president Terry O’Neill said the policy infringes on women’s rights”:
“How dare any government say we’re going to impose any kind of punishment on women for getting pregnant,” O’Neill said. “This is not the 1800s.”
Alley of Angels:
Donetsk residents have gathered at the Alley of Angels memorial complex on the eve of the new schoolyear to honor the memory of the children — victims of the Donbass war, said a representative of the United Russia party’s regional branch.
“The action called ‘They’ll never hear the school bell’ has been held for several years in Donetsk, ” Yelena Fesenko told the Donetsk News Agency. “In 2023, it involves activists of the Donetsk Republic and Young Republic social movements, representatives of the United Russia party and DPR Youth Parliament and schoolchildren.”
The first bell was rung at the memorial on Thursday for 228 children killed in the Donetsk People’s Republic since the beginning of Ukrainian aggression. The participants in the action honored the memory of the victims and laid flowers at the monument.
The Alley of Angels is located in the Pobeda Park in Donetsk’s Kalininsky district. It features a forged arch of iron roses with machine gun shell casings in between, as well as forged doves, as the symbol of peace. Under the arch, there is a granite slab inscribed with the names of the children killed as a result of Kiev regime aggression. City residents often bring flowers and toys to the monument. (Donetsk residents honor memory of Donbass children who will not hear first school bell on September 10)
This is what Zelensky is all about — families, mothers, fathers, grandparents, boys and girls, with USA weapons, NATO bombs.
But the flip side:
Fifty-six children were born in Donetsk last week, city mayor Alexey Kulemzin said on Monday.
“Twenty-six boys and 30 girls were born, ” Kulemzin said adding that twin boys had been born to a family in the city’s Kievsky district. He wished the parents and the newborns health, well-being and peaceful skies.
Russian scriptwriter Oleg Roy earlier told the Donetsk News Agency that the reunification of the new regions with Russia was giving back happiness to children and hope to parents.
“I saw this movie myself and I cried. Even though I shot this film,” she said. “You can’t fight against children. And, to be honest, I will never forgive these crimes against children. These [crimes] have no statute of limitations, this will never be forgotten. We will always remember this. And I will never forget those children’s eyes. This is how I see them, these children’s eyes, and they tell their stories. I see them sometimes in my dreams at night. Sometimes I get scared.”

“[The Ukrainian military] scatter these ‘petals’ everywhere,” said Elena. “You see, Ukraine is mercilessly bombarding the entire Donetsk with these munitions, which have been banned for a long time. By convention, you know? They are prohibited because these munitions harm civilians.”
“‘Petals’ have already become commonplace. You go and … Everyone looks under their feet, no one walks in the grass. If there is grass somewhere, no one dares to take a step in there, even if people walked there, it’s still not safe.”
“These are strong children, these are ‘child fighters’ one can rely upon. They strictly follow the instructions (…) they are not mischievous, and they are not capricious. They are just fine with everything. Gifts? You ask: ‘What would you like?’ Do you know what they answer? ‘We have everything that we need. We would like peace. Food and clothes are here. We would like peace. We would like to play outside.’ Do you understand that they can’t go outside? They have already forgotten how to play outside, and some did not even know, because the war has been going on for nine years. Some children were born during the war. They don’t know what ‘peace’ means.” (source)
Andriy Kolesnyk, the founder of Zemliachky, a group dedicated to supporting Ukrainian women serving in the armed forces, told The Daily Beast he knows numerous pregnant women serving in the military who requested specially designed uniforms.
“For a housewife somewhere in Oregon, it would probably sound crazy that pregnant women fight on the front to defend Ukraine, but our country is constantly under attack, so even pregnant women fight against Russian invaders until they are seven months pregnant,” he said. “I currently have requests for specially designed uniforms and other important items from at least 10 pregnant soldiers. We have shortages for every single item… So far nobody has managed to actually help.”
Egyptian investigative journalist Mohammed Al-Alawi provided exclusive materials concerning the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to the documents, Zelenskyy’s family has acquired a luxury villa in “the city of millioners” El Gouna. According to investigation, Olga Kiyashko, whose name matches the name of Zelenskyy’s mother-in-law, owns a VIP estate worth $5 million. Political scientist Abdulrahman Alabbassy draws a conclusion that the president’s relative purchased the estate with the humanitarian aid funds allocated to Ukraine by the West to repel Russian military aggression.
Perhaps the best-known recent disinformation campaign by Israel occurred 18 months ago, over the killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
Referring to the people of Gaza as “human animals”, Defence Minister Yoav Gallant vowed to “eliminate everything”. An Israeli military official explained that the “emphasis is on damage, not accuracy”. Another said Gaza would be reduced to “a city of tents… There will be no buildings.”
Meanwhile, President Isaac Herzog accused the entire people of Gaza of being responsible for the Hamas attack, effectively denying every man, woman and child their civilian status and designating them all terrorists. He added: “We will break their backbone.”
They, the Jews, are natural born killers and liars: Israel runs a “mistaravim” unit of Israelis who disguise themselves as Palestinians to operate undercover in Palestinian communities. It also famously operates networks of Palestinian collaborators whom it threatens or bribes. Faking an audio would be child’s play for Israel.

Of course, Israel was the first country to force the Pfizer bioweapon down the throats (jabs on the arms, now nasal sprays, soon to be vaccines [sic] in the air and GMO-ed onto their lettuce) of its compliant extreme religious pipulation.
And the here we are now, the dark dark web of lies tied to the new and newest and soon to be newer and then the never discovered but newest of the new, VARIANTS.
The newest Edward Bernays designation and highly erudite and literary terms for the non-non-lethal variant of concern, i.e., all those boosters making out like gangbusters — new and newer and slightly newest variants all those triple or five-boosted folk (think Israel) are shedding into the world.
Eris (mythology) or Discordia, the goddess of discord in Greek mythology
Eris (dwarf planet), the second-largest known dwarf planet in the Solar System
So, a relative has a slight fever, a scratchy throat, while vacationing in California, and the MD gets a “positive” for C19, and alas, “Nothing to worry about. Not like the old days. You’ve been boosted three times, five jabs total, so here we go, try this Pfizer product out. I’ll write a script for it”:
Paxlovid is a pill that has proven to be effective at preventing severe disease from COVID-19. You start taking Paxlovid pills within the first five days of experiencing COVID symptoms (if you are 12 or older and at risk for serious disease), and it can protect you from getting so sick you need to be hospitalized.
Best rebounder in the NBA but watch out C19?
Shedding and rebounds and return of symptoms, but the pill was $1395 for five days. Now? Medicare, i.e., taxpayer takes it up the ass on that one: One caveat is a reported “rebound” effect where, in the days after initial recovery from the disease, you either test positive again and/or experience a return of symptoms. This is sometimes called the “Paxlovid rebound.” Nobody knows for sure how common it is, and there is no strong evidence that Paxlovid causes it—a rebound has been reported by people who took the drug and those who didn’t. Because of this, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) calls the phenomenon “COVID-19 rebound” or, informally, “COVID rebound.
Paxlovid is currently being used to treat mild-to-moderate COVID-19; the treatment costs $120-$530 per person. According to the U.S. Department of health, Paxlovid distribution is still being managed by the federal government and should be prescribed at no cost to individuals with or without insurance. There is plan in place, however, to end this program by the end of the year. Paxlovid is a combination of nirmatrelvir tablets and ritonavir tablets developed and manufactured by Pzifer.
Although the FDA recently authorized pharmacists to prescribe Paxlovid without a prior prescription, the majority of pharmacies still require a prescription to dispense Paxlovid.
Ahh, those darn variants. How fucking Peter Max, no, of these graphic artists?
Everything you need to know about the new COVID variants
Pirola (BA.2.86): Pirola is a new Omicron variant with 34 more mutations than its precursor BA.2. It has been detected in several countries, including the US, Denmark, South Africa, Israel, and the UK. While it has raised concerns, current data suggest it may not be the primary driver of hospitalizations in the US.
Eris (EG.5.1): Eris is another descendant of Omicron and has become the second most prevalent variant in the UK. It’s also the most common variant in the US. Eris stands out because it has an additional spike protein mutation (F456L) that might help it evade immunity from previous Omicron infections.
Pi (BA.6): Pi is a variant of Omicron, but it’s less commonly identified in people with COVID-19. It has unique mutations compared to previous Omicron strains and has been sequenced in Denmark and Israel.
Common Omicron Symptoms: All three variants are strains of Omicron, and common symptoms include a runny nose, headache, fatigue, sneezing, and sore throat. Additionally, some reports mention diarrhea, eye irritation, and rashes as possible symptoms.
Level of Concern: Experts are closely monitoring these variants as they continue to evolve. While there’s a rise in symptomatic COVID-19 infections and a small increase in hospitalizations, prior immunity from vaccination and infection still provides good protection for most people. Autumn vaccine boosters are being used to address these new variants, with the hope of managing potential waves of infection during the winter.
Ahh, that dude: WEF Billionaire Jewish Greek Vet, Albert Bourla:
‘First, let me say that C-19 injections marketed as “covid vaccines” are absolutely, 100%, without a doubt adulterated, misbranded and fraudulent substances that have no place in healthcare and belong to bio-chemical warfare. They are dangerous poisons (bio-toxins and transfectants) that must be removed from market and impounded immediately for proper investigation and prosecution of those responsible for the mass poisoning event advertised as “vaccination”. I have been testifying to this fact since 2021, and continue to do so at every opportunity in numerous jurisdictions in the US and abroad, all of it unpaid at my own travel expense.
With all the buzz from Not a Movement self-appointed “leaders” screaming “Pfizer can be sued for fraud now!” a review of the history of of C-19 injections as adulterated substance is warranted.
[The simian DNA tumor virus SV40 regulates synthesis of early and late viral transcripts from two divergent and overlapping promoters.]
When did the evidence become available, who brought up the evidence and what does the body of evidence contain to date? Did anything change? Were we NOT able to sue Pfizer before?
Here is a quick summary:
You CAN sue Pfizer for fraud
You ALWAYS could
The evidence of fraud has ALWAYS been available and proven
Nothing changed with regard to the status of covid shots as “EUA Countermeasure under Public Health Emergency, covered by PREP Act”. If you sue, you still have to find a way to overcome the defenses of this legal fortress.
People who previously denied the significance of product adulteration and actively stonewalled my attempts to bring it forward are now extremely busy grifting off this information for clicks, likes and money.
People who are now screaming on Twitter and elsewhere “you can sue Pfizerrrrrr nowwwww!” are grifting for clicks, likes and money as they are brining you NO NEWS.
Vaccines in general are regulated as a pharmaceutical product, meaning that they have a requirement to comply with the current Good Manufacturing Practices – a set of regulatory laws governing quality control, safety, and accurate labeling of pharmaceuticals. A consumer or a healthcare provider usually cannot detect (through smell, touch, or sight) whether a drug product is safe or if it will work, and therefore safety testing and assurance processes are needed. This formal system of controls at a pharmaceutical company, if adequately put into practice, helps to prevent instances of contamination, mix-ups, deviations, failures, and errors. Having spent 25+ years in pharma R&D and having to be in compliance with these laws, I was acutely aware of their importance. That’s why I made it the primary focus of my investigation of covid shots since 2021.’ [OMG, SV40! Can We Sue Pfizer NOW? — Sasha Latypova ]

And how quickly all that TALK, ended with the USA’s final push to push NaziLandia by the AzovZioLansky man in UkroNaziLandia, and then what about China? And, now, Iran and Israel?
Shit:
The lies of the Jab folk, what Linh Dinh calls the JewJab, are parlayed everywhere, with the right Blinken-Nuland-Yellen-Kagan-Garland-Powell sort of twinkle in their Israel-First Eyes! Mostly BLUE eyes!
Seed of doubt
The goal here, as ever, was not to produce evidence but to win the propaganda battle through misdirection, planting a seed of doubt that western politicians and media could then exploit to cloud the issue for their publics.
Instead of giving the victims proper attention, instead of finally galvanising anger over Israel’s wanton killing of thousands of Palestinian civilians in two weeks, the media’s reporting reverted to a predictable formula. It weighed claim and counter-claim over the hospital strike, it carried profiles about Islamic Jihad, and – most importantly for Israel – it adopted a wait-and-see, don’t-rush-to-judgment approach.
A moment that might have led to concerted diplomatic pressure on Israel to stop its rampage and negotiate a ceasefire dissolved into a round of bickering in which the hospital victims entirely disappeared from view.
By the time outside observers get into Gaza and carry out forensic tests, assuming they can, the story will be cold. No one will care, and Israel will not be held to account – morally, diplomatically or legally.
This is all too familiar to anyone who has followed decades of the media’s endlessly forgiving coverage, when it matters, of Israel’s occupation and illegal colonisation of the Palestinians’ historic homeland.
The fog that instantly enveloped the al-Ahli hospital story was a repeat – if on a far bigger scale – of what happened last summer when five Palestinian teenagers were killed in an air strike on Gaza’s Jabaliya refugee camp.
As with the hospital massacre, Israel immediately denied it was responsible, saying it had not carried out air strikes on Jabaliya at the time. It blamed Islamic Jihad for a rocket misfire. [Jonathan Cook — Israel is caught lying time and again. And yet we never learn

“Congress is expecting the White House’s defense supplemental spending request to come in around $100 billion, with the lion’s share going to Ukraine and a smaller portion allocated for Israel alongside more funding for weapons to Taiwan and security for the southern border,” DefenseNewsreported.
Washington has already sent Israel “Joint Direct Attack Munitions, or JDAMS, small diameter bombs, 155 millimeter artillery rounds and ammunition from US stockpiles,” DefenseNews added, citing the Pentagon.

Gaza Medics See Increase in Ankle Injuries as Israeli Forces Shoot at Protesters’ Legs
HEADLINE, OCT 05, 2023
Emergency medical workers in Gaza have reported a spike in ankle injuries among protesters. Israeli forces, including snipers, appear to be deliberately shooting at Palestinians’ legs and ankles — wounds that are extremely difficult to treat and can lead to amputations. Human rights groups also say the brutal tactic is unlawful. Recent protests in Gaza have condemned Israeli raids in the West Bank, the storming of East Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa compound by Jewish settlers and the blockade of the Gaza Strip.
[Jewish American political scientist and author of ‘The Holocaust Industry’ and ‘I Accuse!’ Norman Finkelstein, commented on the Israeli, US and English denial of Israel’s involvement in the Al Ahli Arab Hospital massacre in Palestine’s Gaza on 17 October and Hamas’s actions since 7 October.]
Israel has its kill switch, Sampson Option, because self-destruction is their only option!!!!
“There will be no electricity, no food, no water, no fuel, everything is closed,” Israel’s Defense Minister said. “We are fighting human animals, and we will act accordingly.”
The “Samson Option” of the book’s title refers to the nuclear strategy whereby Israel would launch a massive nuclear retaliatory strike if the state itself was being overrun, just as the Biblical figure Samson is said to have pushed apart the pillars of a Philistine temple, bringing down the roof and killing himself …
It’s a criminal and dirty murderous “country,” Israel:
1988 = Mordechai Vanunu, the former technician convicted last week of treason and espionage for revealing the secrets of Israel’s nuclear arsenal to a British newspaper, was yesterday sentenced to 18 years in prison.
The three judges in the Jerusalem district court said in passing sentence that they had taken into consideration Vanunu’s solitary confinement in prison and his co-operation with the authorities.
But they rejected defence arguments that his motives were ideological.
Vanunu, aged 34, gave the Sunday Times details of his eight years employment at the top-secret Dimona nuclear research centre in the Negey desert. The paper concluded that Israel ranked as the world’s sixth nuclear power and possessed as many as 200 atomic warheads.

The truth is that Mozart, Pascal, Boolean algebra, Shakespeare, parliamentary government, baroque churches, Newton, the emancipation of women, Kant, Marx, Balanchine ballets, et al., don’t redeem what this particular civilisation has wrought upon the world.
The white race is the cancer of human history; it is the white race and it alone — its ideologies and inventions — which eradicates autonomous civilizations wherever it spreads, which has upset the ecological balance of the planet, which now threatens the very existence of life itself.
What the Mongol hordes threaten is far less frightening than the damage that western ‘Faustian’ man, with his idealism, his magnificent art, his sense of intellectual adventure, his world-devouring energies for conquest, has already done, and further threatens to do.

The intelligence leaders in the Five Eyes partnership monitor the global threat landscape, like the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and what they label as China’s unprecedented global espionage campaign. But their partnership strengthens them all, according to David Vigneault, director of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service.
To explain how he and his colleagues manage with all that is going on in the world, Vigneault made an analogy that borrowed from his country’s national pastime: ice hockey.
“When the puck goes into the corner and you have to defend yourselves, you know you have your partners with you, your players with you on the ice to defend,” Vigneault said. “And that’s what makes us stand taller in front of the threat.”
CGTN report from Gaza, who is the real baby killer?
Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Jordan: Patriarchate of Jerusalem: Israel aims to bomb church institutions that provide humanitarian services in Gaza
— “The Holy Orthodox Patriarchate of the Roman Catholic Church issued a statement in which it denounced, in the strongest terms, the Israeli bombing of one of its church buildings in Gaza City.
The Patriarchate affirmed in her statement that the targeting of churches and their institutions, as well as the shelters they provide to protect innocent citizens, especially children and women who lost their homes as a result of Israeli shelling of residential areas over the past thirteen days, constituted a war crime that cannot be ignored.
The Patriarchate stressed that it would not abandon its religious and humanitarian duty deriving from its Christian values to provide all that is needed in times of war and peace alike.”
“[Zionist] immigration was not only designed to ensure a concentration of European Jewish capital in Palestine, that was to dominate the process of industrialization, but also to provide this effort with a Jewish proletariat: The policy that raised the slogan of “Jewish labor only” was to have grave consequences, as it led to the rapid emergence of fascist patterns in the society of Jewish settlers.”
Today, the Israeli state is highly dependent on foreign investment. In 2022, its high-tech sector accounted for 48.3% of all exports, a system that is underpinned in part by exploited Palestinian labor — and 80% of venture investments in this sector are based on foreign funds. The Israeli regime is currently implementing a spate of judicial and social “reforms” that have found significant opposition among liberal Israelis, who tolerate the colonial regime insofar as the pretense of liberal democracy, with Jewish primacy, is preserved. As the pretense of liberal democracy withers away, and the colonial face of the Israeli state comes into sharper view, many believe that Israel risks a wave of capital flight that could challenge the very basis of its settler-colonial economy.
… the power of the portfolio, millionaire or billionaire, always includes the virus of military industrial complex in one form or another . . . as it does even for the teachers’ pension fund!!!

I am sitting here in bed with you in my arms. It is 11:59 PM, and you are fast asleep. Did you know you sleep talk? Yes at 21 months, you sleep talk. Sometimes you just chuckle and then roll to the other side, and other times you manage to touch my face and say “mama” while your eyes are closed.
I am looking up at the ceiling fan and it’s lying perfectly still. Our vases are on the shelves- we’re not afraid of them falling. The windows are closed when we sleep. It gets chilly at night.
Then you wake up to the sound of birds chirping at our window on our clean white sheets. We don’t hear anything except the birds here.
You open your eyes and I am the first thing you see. If I am not there, you don’t panic, you just come to the living room and give me a hug.
I couldn’t fall asleep like you, however. I was too busy holding you, and thinking of those who look like you, breathe like you, related to you.
You are from a place where 21 month olds never sleep with messy hair. Your cousin told me he likes to comb it in case he never wakes up. “I want to die while looking nice” he said.
You are from a place where 21 month olds do not sleep talk. They wake up multiple times at night afraid that the ceiling fan falls on them.
You are from a place where no house has vases and the windows at night are always open. Leaving them closed will guarantee shattered glass.
You are from a place where 21 month olds do not sleep on clean white sheets. Instead, they are buried in them.
You are from a place where if 21 month olds wake up and do not find their mothers next to them- it is most likely they will never see her again.
I do not know why I felt the need to tell you this. You won’t read this letter for a decade or two. But I wanted to remind you that the place you are from, despite the proximity of death, is a place worth remembering, worth loving, worth being proud of.
To be from Gaza means that you are a child of extreme creativity. Did you know your older cousins can power a generator using just cooking oil? And your cousin Shahd knows how to crotchet the most beautiful dolls for you. A few weeks ago she made you a rabbit with overalls. You loved it.
To be from Gaza means you know how to live life, often times because it is not guaranteed. It means you feel the beauty of our waters, and don’t mind sleeping on the fine hot sand. Children from Gaza don’t put on sunscreen- they don’t mind feeling the sun’s touch.
To be from Gaza means seeing those who look like you perish in an instant. It means hearing the country where you live tell you that they deserve it. It means seeing the number of thousands of Palestinian children dead- and growing numb to it since we don’t hear their stories, know their names or see their photo collages on our screens.
Instead, we just see them wrapped in bloody white sheets if they are lucky enough to even be whole when they die.
But, my love, being from Gaza means you can understand deep love and deep hatred better than others. You understand that the talking heads’ hatred of you is not a reflection of you. Your humanity is in tact and your faith even stronger. Their’s is the one that is so deeply lost.
Being from Gaza means you understand that the success of the Palestinian people, of your people, means the success of the down-trotted everywhere. From Ferguson, to Mexico, to Palestine- being from Gaza means you know that justice is the most important human pursuit a person can have. Even if they dehumanize you like they do to all other Black and brown folks, being from Gaza means you know that all walls and empires fall. Eventually.
Our resilience is stronger than their hatred.
Remember Gaza, for being from such a marvellous, beautiful, creative place means you understand that it is worth fighting for. Such a place can never die.
I love you.
Sincerely,
Your mother
These American stories make a grown caring adult vomit. We are in crisis after crisis, and this Team Israel First Blinken-Garland-Powell-Yellen-Nuland-Kagan under Joe “I Finally Have a Jewish Doctor in the Family” Biden, it is the most destructive force on earth.
[According to a colleague, Krein is “a proud Jew.” And, speaking of pride: Joe kvelled about his Jewish son-in-law at a political event in Ohio in 2016, saying:
“I’m the only Irish Catholic you know who had his dream met because his daughter married a Jewish surgeon.”]
Here you go, the dirty dealings of some of these dirty Israel-First Billionaires, and the fallout with their mostly Goyim Workers (read, well, enslaved ones): “Tech companies have laid off nearly 245,000 workers this year alone, per tracker Layoffs.fyi, and Silicon Valley heavyweights like Meta and Salesforce have led the pack, each culling thousands of jobs apiece.
But workers weren’t losers for long. Now, as the job market shifts once again, companies are scrambling for talent, and some are angling for the very kinds of workers they just cut. The real question is what will happen when those workers decide they don’t want them back?
Over half (58%) of 6,000 professionals who responded to a recent Glassdoor poll said they’d never return to a company who laid them off. In the tech sector specifically, just 46% of workers said they’d boomerang. Men were slightly more likely to consider boomeranging than women, and older workers were more open-minded than younger ones.”
“As the labor market has softened over the past year….some regrets are inevitable,” Aaron Terrazas, chief economist at Glassdoor, tells Fortune. A few sectors have begun “cautiously” ramping up their hiring as their fears of a recession recede, but “corporate reputation casts a long shadow.”
The legacy of layoffs—and how they were carried out—could “come back to haunt companies when the pendulum of the labor market inevitably swings back,” Terrazas adds. “Former employees can be a company’s most loyal advocates, or they can be the most piercing critics.” The result depends on the nature of the company.
Salesforce laid off about 10% of its workforce earlier this year, but now CEO Marc Benioff is encouraging those people to apply to fill its 3,000-plus open roles.
“Our job is to grow the company and to continue to achieve great margins,” Benioff said in September. “We know we have to hire thousands of people.” He’s hoping a good portion of those people will be boomerangs. Benioff admitted to attempting to lure workers back in with an “alumni event for people who are employed in other companies to say—it’s okay, come back.”
As for Meta, after laying off about a quarter of its workforce, jobs are open again, and the company has even constructed a specialty “alumni portal” for boomerangs looking to cut the line.
Companies like Raytheon and Lockheed Martin saw some of the biggest jumps in search interest by this year’s grads on the popular college career site Handshake. Meanwhile, not a single tech company made the top 10. When it came to applying for work, there was huge growth in the number of applications to jobs in government, law, and politics (84 percent); energy (53 percent); and pretty much every industry that isn’t tech, although that grew too (8 percent). This likely reflects the overall 24 percent growth in full-time applications this year, as students struggle with a rougher job market than last year.
If you don’t spend a lot of time with Gen Z, it might be confusing that such an idealistic and tech-savvy generation would want to work for defense contractors or the government. But talking with new grads, it starts making sense. They don’t have the same associations as millennials like me who witnessed — and protested — the forever wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But they have been exposed to lots of other chaos in their young lives and now crave stability. Some see that in defense jobs as well as more tried-and-true industries. Chevron, Boeing, Bank of America, and NASA also topped the list as far as growth in interest.
Recognize the enemies of the world. Can you name these felons?

Fucking Fascist Fortune Magazine: Falling stocks, wounded unicorns and rising interest rates translated into a down year for the world’s wealthiest people. Globally, we counted 2,640 ten-figure fortunes, down from 2,668 last year. Altogether, the planet’s billionaires are now worth $12.2 trillion, a drop of $500 billion from $12.7 trillion in March 2022. Nearly half the list is poorer than a year ago, including Elon Musk, who falls from No. 1 to No. 2 after his pricey acquisition of Twitter helped sink Tesla shares. Bernard Arnault, head of luxury goods giant LVMH, takes his place as the world’s richest person, marking the first time a citizen of France leads the ranking. The United States still boasts the most billionaires, with 735 list members worth a collective $4.5 trillion. China (including Hong Kong and Macau) remains second, with 562 billionaires worth $2 trillion, followed by India, with 169 billionaires worth $675 billion. To calculate net worths, we used stock prices and exchange rates from March 10, 2023. See below for the full list of the world’s billionaires and our methodology. Know thy enemy:
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
President Dwight Eisenhower famously warned of in 1961, when he described the growing “military-industrial complex,” the huge military establishment that would have “grave . . . economic, political, even spiritual . . . implications” that would be felt “in every city, every Statehouse, every office of the Federal government.”
Miriam Pemberton focuses on the military budget, which is now nearing $1 trillion per year: how it became so big, what it funds, its impacts on communities around the country, and how the linked forces of members of Congress, the military, and defense contractors work together to push its constant growth. The military’s workforce, which includes active-duty soldiers, reserves, and civilians, exceeds three million people. In addition to thousands of bases within the United States, the military maintains 750 bases in at least 85 countries. No other country owns more than a handful of bases abroad. The U.S. defense budget is larger than the rest of the discretionary federal budget combined, and private contractors now account for more than half of it. According to Pemberton, a well-funded force of congressional lobbyists and a revolving door that guides retired generals and admirals into senior roles at arms manufacturers keep the money flowing into private hands even in the absence of clear threats. At first glance, communities should be expected to benefit from military projects funded with huge sums of federal money. Yet a majority of the states that have received the most military contracts over many decades have poverty rates above the national average.
At the time, even the most defense-dependent big prime contractors were convinced, at least publicly, that they needed to venture into civilian manufacturing. In 1993, at the height of the post-Cold War downturn, Lockheed Martin, the entrenched world leader in military contracting (now 96% defense dependent) publicly predicted that “the growth in Lockheed’s forecast will come from our nondefense sector,” and that in five years just 55% of its revenue would come from DoD.
Lockheed encouraged its engineering teams to brainstorm about what they might be able to do in the civilian realm. One team was working on fighter jets at a manufacturing facility in Binghamton, New York. The engineering team leader at the time, Bob Devine, explains that standard new product development practice involves positioning your existing product lines on a grid and looking for the “one box move.”
You try to find these market adjacencies [between the military and civilian markets] which are also business adjacencies … A one-box move might be new technology into the same market. Or new market, same technology. But trying to jump to commercial in a new market with new technology or a different approach to the business altogether is kind of a move on both those axes … So it’s a stretch for the business to be able to adapt.
They chose to focus on technology adjacencies. As Devine put it, the team did not try to switch gears from fighter jets to toasters. They focused on a move to a product that shared the characteristics of high maneuverability, complex engineering and heavy-duty manufacturing with what they were building for the military. They had been working on replacing the mechanical hydraulic flight controls on the F-15 fighter jet with lighter and more reliable electronic versions. At the same time, they were building an electronic fuel injection control system for a new freight locomotive.
And we said, this is really interesting—if you have a set of batteries you have a hybrid. And you’ll be able to capture regeneration—taking the heat energy that would normally be lost in braking and putting that back in the batteries. And thus was born the idea of a hybrid. Locomotives had been doing that for years, but we applied it to rubber tire vehicles—buses and trucks.
Toyota was figuring out regenerative braking for its Priuses around the same time, but, he claims, his shop at Lockheed got there first. They like to bring this up with Toyota from time to time, Devine said with a chuckle.
The engineers at the site could bring a variety of specialized skills to the task, as well as the “systems integration” experience from building complex weapons systems. They took the light, compact, highly reliable power controls from the jets and applied them to the diesel electric power train of the locomotives, creating a hybrid drive train system for what they called a “HybriDrive” transit bus.
As cities around the world looked for mass transit solutions that cut fuel consumption and carbon emissions, as well as maintenance costs and noise, HybriDrive buses began appearing on streets from New York City to London to Tokyo to Toronto. In February of 2022, Houston and Philadelphia were added to the list.
In 1999, just months after announcing a delivery of 125 buses to New York City, Lockheed announced it would be selling the facility, including its HybriDrive line, to BAE Systems, another major military prime contractor. Its CEO explained the decision this way: “This proposed transaction is consistent with Lockheed Martin’s strategic initiative to focus on business and technical competencies that will strengthen our position … in core aerospace and defense markets.”19 Since by then—just seven years after it began efforts to convert away from defense—the “crisis” of post-Cold War military budget cuts seemed to be well over, diversifying beyond their “core competencies” seemed, to Lockheed, no longer necessary.
Under BAE the bus-building project continued mostly as before, with the same players, and its production ramped up to meet the demand of proliferating markets domestically and overseas. By 2013, the team calculated that their buses had travelled more than 600 million miles and saved more than 520,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
In this episode, we’ll take a deep dive into the Pentagon budget. During the first half of the program, Carley Towne interviews Miriam Pemberton, author of Six Stops on the National Security Tour: Warfare Economies & Other Ambitions about how we can demilitarize the economy. Then, CODEPINK organizer Cody Urban talks with James Ehlers, an activist in Vermont about our ongoing campaign to Divest Vermont from the War Machine and the F-35 program there.
Ever since World War II, the US economy has become increasingly reliant on the war industry to provide jobs. It was, in fact, World War II that converted our existing economy into one dependent on government spending from the Pentagon and its associated agencies and industries. But it is possible to convert the economy back the other way, from one centered on the war industry to one that generates good jobs while addressing the existential threats of the climate emergency, pandemics, and ecological devastation.
In this panel discussion recorded on March 10, 2021, and organized by the War Industries Resisters Network (WIRN), panelists discuss the existential need to transition away from the war economy and the practical steps that would make it possible. (WIRN is a coalition of local groups and organizations across the US and around the world that are opposing their local war industries and collaborating to confront corporate control of US foreign policy.) With permission from the event organizers, we are sharing this recording with TRNN audiences.
Panelists Include: Miriam Pemberton, founder of the Peace Economy Transitions Project at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, DC, and author of the upcoming book Six Stops on the National Security Tour: Rethinking Warfare Economies; David Story, a third-generation union member born and raised in Alabama, President of the Machinists & Aerospace Workers Union Local 44 in Decatur, Alabama, and a founding member of the Huntsville IWW; Taylor Barnes, an award-winning, multilingual investigative journalist based in Atlanta who covers military affairs and the defense industry, and whose work has been published in local and national media outlets, including Southerly Magazine, Facing South, Responsible Statecraft, and The Intercept. This panel is hosted by Ken Jones of Reject Raytheon Asheville, a local movement of activists and peacemakers who have come together to ensure that the economic development of Buncombe County relies not on incentives given to war profiteering multinational corporations, but rather on investments in a sustainable local economic model.
But again, cold talkers, for sure. Here, a better look at what the nerds and the CPAs and lobbyists and lawyers and service industrialists and academics and the entire USA culture is doing to kill Palestinians.
These contractual and transactional Americans really do not know the full excent of the price war, war making, war planning, war teaching, all the bombs and sanctions, all of that, the price of future generations’ mental and material well being, all of the crime and the pollution, physical and spiritual, all of these wars and war making and war standing and war thinking does to the world.
Wash your hands and enjoy that AmeriKKKan lifestyle: For one-third of the price of one F-35 Lightning II, the Pentagon made a key investment to ensure its supply of rare earth elements.
The Department of Defense earlier this month announced that Lynas USA LLC was awarded a $30.4 million technology investment agreement under Title III of the Defense Production Act.
With that award, Lynas will construct and begin operating a light rare earth elements processing facility in Hondo, Texas.
The recent announcement from the Pentagon serves as an important milestone and reminder of the ground gained—and left to be won—in the effort to secure a reliable rare earths supply chain for the U.S. defense industry.
Few Americans could name even one of the 17 arcane rare earth elements. According to the American Geosciences Institute, those substances are components to more than 200 products, such as cellphones, flat-screen monitors, lasers, and sonar systems.
With wide-ranging applications, materials like cerium, lanthanum, and samarium may be found in everyday commercial products.
Fucking smiling face and faceless one here: Cetner for National Defense (OFFENSE) and Heritage Foundation.
Oppen-monster-Heimers:
An elemental issue by Russell Parman, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command
The rare-earth supply problem will have no easy solutions. According to the U.S. Government Accountability Office, it would take 15 years to overhaul the defense supply chain, meaning that any changes to it need considerable lead time. The American Mineral Security Act, passed in 2015, is meant to determine which minerals are critical and diversify the supply chain, according to the NATO Association of Canada. Currently, switching from present suppliers (e.g., China) would cause major disruptions to supply chains.
Rare earths are a critical part of laser- and precision-guided missile technology. Lockheed Martin Corp. is working on a small, high-power laser weapon, heavily reliant on the rare earths erbium and neodymium, that the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory wants to test in a tactical fighter aircraft by 2021.
Rare-earth elements are widely used in strong, permanent magnets that are impervious to temperature extremes. The permanent magnets are used in fin actuators (which control flight patterns in missiles) in missile guidance and control systems; disk drive motors installed in aircraft and tanks; satellite communications; and radar and sonar systems. Samarium-cobalt magnets are more resistant to demagnetization than those made from any other material. This quality-called high coercivity-means that they do not lose magnetic strength when exposed to high temperatures. That makes them the best choice for many military applications, according to Air Force Lt. Col. Justin C. Davey, in a 2011 Air War College report. Neodymium-iron-boron magnets are very strong, light and relatively low-cost. By weight, they are almost 10 times more powerful than traditional ferrite magnets. That makes them ideal for use in the tiny electronic components such as disk drives that have helped make possible decades of computer-driven innovation.

All hospitals in Gaza Strip are destroyed in whole or in part according to the Palestinian Health Ministry
Following Israel’s regular bombardment of the Gaza Strip, there are no major hospitals left in the region, according to Palestinian Health Minister Mey al-Qayla.
Al-Durra Children’s Hospital, the major Al-Shifa Hospital, and Gaza’s Central Hospital, were hit by airstrikes.
“Other medical facilities have also been knocked out. Medical resources are on the verge of being depleted,” the minister said.
It is more than distraction. It is a flood of lobotomizing zombie-producing ennui, just as bad as Saturday football on TV, or just as bad as CNN 24/7 lies.
It’s more than ancient this Collosseum lobotomy of keeping “the mob” distracted.
Understatement, and caution is all about the fuck faces in $4 K suits and wearing $10 K watches.
“There is an extensive body of epidemiological evidence for a relationship between neurodevelopmental disorders and environmental pollutants such as plasticizers,” write the researchers.
“How important plasticizer originated neurodevelopmental disorder is in the overall occurrence of these disorders is not known, but it must account for a significant proportion or would not have been so easy to detect in a metabolic study of moderate size such as this study.” (Common Plastic Additive Linked to Autism And ADHD, Scientists Discover)

That is the insanity of the world today — instant juxtaposing of disparate images and ideas. May the fuckers die die die: Silicon Valley biohackers are turning to more than just cold plunges, intermittent fasting, and rigorous exercise plans to stay smart and live longer.
One of the hottest longevity trends among tech workers these days are peptide treatments which include pills, injections, and topical creams that can enhance performance, improve skin elasticity, increase libido, and even fight against diseases.
Peptides — which have long been popular with athletes for muscle-building and recovery — have taken off since COVID-19 and the rise of weight loss drugs like Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Ozempic, according to Semafor. By 2032, the global therapeutics market is expected to reach close to $77 billion, according to a report by Precedence Research.

Why do Black people have a higher death rate than white people from COVID-19? Why do the working class have higher instances of respiratory diseases? If someone is saddled with debt, what does that do to their bodies?
Inflamed illuminates the hidden relationships between our biological systems and the injustices of our political, social, and economic systems. Dr. Marya and Patel take us on a tour through the human body – our digestive, endocrine, circulatory, respiratory, reproductive, immune, and nervous systems. From there, they discuss the ways in which those systems break down due to the society we live in. Systemic racism affects the body, they argue. Doctors themselves, by the way, are not immune. For example, Black newborn babies die at more than twice the rate as white newborns. Research suggests this mortality rate is halved when Black infants are cared for by Black physicians.
There is a cure to all of this. They suggest that it’s the deep medicine of decolonization. Decolonizing heals what has been divided and reestablishes relationships, to the Earth and to each other. We can heal not only our bodies, they offer, but the world.
Dr. Rupa Marya is an associate professor of medicine at the University of California, San Franciscio, where she practices and teaches internal medicine. She is cofounder of the Do No Harm Coalition, a collective of health workers committed to addressing disease through structural change.
Raj Patel is a research professor at the University of Texas at Austin’s Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, a professor in the university’s department of nutrition, and a research associate at Rhodes University, South Africa.
Gaza’s health ministry said on Friday that the death toll in the territory since 7 October stands at 4,137 people, while more than 13,000 have been injured. The ministry said early evening Friday local time that during the past 24 hours, the Israeli military “committed 37 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip,” killing more than 350 people and injuring nearly 670.
Defense for Children International-Palestine, citing the health ministry, said on Friday that more than 1,660 Palestinian children have been confirmed killed since 7 October, and that 4,000 were injured “and hundreds are still missing under the rubble.”
The UN office for the coordination of humanitarian affairs said that on 15 October, around “100 unidentified bodies were buried in a mass grave in Rafah due to the lack of refrigerated space to store them until recognition procedures are conducted.” The UN added that “this measure followed environmental and human indignity concerns related to the decomposition of the bodies.”
As of Wednesday, Gaza’s health ministry reported that “79 families had lost ten or more of their members; 85 families had lost 6 to 9 members, and 320 families had lost two to five of their members.”

The world has to add or replace 49.7 million miles of transmission lines by 2040 in order for countries to meet their climate goals and to achieve energy security priorities, according to a new report published by the International Energy Agency on Tuesday.
That amount is roughly equivalent to the total number of miles of electric grid that currently exists in the world currently, according to the IEA.
And where oh where do our transmission line payments go?
The U.S. Army’s M39 Army Tactical Missile System is a two-ton, 13-foot ballistic missile with a solid rocket motor and a warhead containing 950 grenade-size submunitions. Fired by a tracked or wheeled launcher, the 1990s-vintage missile ranges as far as 100 miles under inertial guidance.
“It’s not a Wunderwaffe,” analyst Brynn Tannehill wrote about ATACMS back in September. “It will not singlehandedly win the war. But oh wow, will it complicate things for the Russians. ATACMS can hit everywhere in occupied Ukraine (including Crimea) with minimal warning.”
The M39 with its nearly 1,000 submunitions is an area weapon. It doesn’t punch through concrete and steel the way, say, a British-made Storm Shadow cruise missile does. No, it sprinkles its submunitions across potentially thousands of square yards.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright:
I heard Ambassador Peck on an interview yesterday, did anybody else see him or hear him? He was on Fox News, this is a white man, and he was upsetting the Fox News commentators to no end. He pointed out, did you see him John, a white man, and he pointed out, an ambassador, that what Malcolm X said when he got silenced by Elijah Mohammed was in fact true, America’s chickens…are coming home to roost.
We took this country by terror, away from the Sioux, the Apache, the Arowak, the Comanche, the Arapahoe, the Navajo. Terrorism.
We took Africans from their country to build our way of ease and kept them enslaved and living in fear. Terrorism. We bombed Granada and killed innocent civilians, babies, non-military personnel.
We bombed the black civilian community of Panama with stealth bombers and killed unarmed teenagers and toddlers, pregnant mothers, and hardworking fathers.
We bombed Qaddafi’s home and killed his child. Blessed are they who bash your children’s head against a rock.
We bombed Iraq. We killed unarmed civilians trying to make a living.
We bombed a plant in Sudan to payback for the attack on our embassy, killed hundreds of hardworking people, mothers and fathers who left home to go that day not knowing that they would never get back home.
We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon and we never batted an eye. Kids playing in the playground, mothers picking up children from school, civilians, not soldiers, people just trying to make it day by day.
We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and Black South Africans and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost.
From PBS, Jewish Propaganda System:
REV. JEREMIAH WRIGHT:
Have you heard the whole sermon? Have you heard the whole sermon?
MODERATOR:
I heard most of it.
REV. JEREMIAH WRIGHT:
No, no, the whole sermon, yes or no? No, you haven’t heard the whole sermon? That nullifies that question. Well, let me try to respond in a non-bombastic way. If you heard the whole sermon, first of all, you heard that I was quoting the ambassador from Iraq. That’s number one. But, number two, to quote the Bible, “Be not deceived. God is not mocked. For whatsoever you sow, that you also shall reap.” Jesus said, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” You cannot do terrorism on other people and expect it never to come back on you. Those are biblical principles, not Jeremiah Wright bombastic, divisive principles.
Arms Sales By World’s Biggest Defense Companies Rise To Almost $600 Billion
The U.S. Department of Defense is a huge consumer of technology, and as a result America is home to many of the world’s biggest makers of military hardware.
If you were to infer from this that Americans have a love affair with defense companies, you’d be wrong. It is a longstanding tradition in the domestic political culture to view military contractors with suspicion.
That tradition is not confined to one party. During the 1920s, Republicans led the charge in labeling military suppliers like Dupont as “merchants of death.” Fifty years later, during the Vietnam War, it was Democrats who took the lead in condemning the “military-industrial complex.”
The latest wrinkle in this longstanding bipartisan bias is the charge that traditional defense companies are not innovative, and that if the Pentagon wants cutting-edge technology it needs to turn to commercial companies in Austin, Boston and Silicon Valley.
May all of Wall Street burn down. And motherfuckers like myself are not following these fucking shits home and immolating them? How many millions of deaths could be stopped if we took out one, one hundred, one thousand of them?
Death to them all, these human stain: Forbes, War: an unsavory topic, but one of the biggest – especially in the US, where annual defense spending reaches astronomical levels. It’s been an unfortunate theme since Russia launched its offensive against Ukraine last year, prompting many investors to turn to the defense industry for investment gains.
If you’re looking for steadier returns and relatively low-risk businesses, the defense industry might be a good option for your portfolio. We’ve got the lowdown on what’s currently driving stock returns and how you can get your portfolio involved.
The pigs of war are in the millions, enjoying retirements, all those stocks and bonds and retirement funds in the center of the death cult.
According to a report from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), between 2018 and 2022, the overwhelming majority – 99 percent – of Israel’s arms imports came from the US and Germany.
During this period, Israel imported $2.7 billion worth of weapons, with the lion’s share – a substantial 79 percent – originating from the US ($2.1 billion) and 20 percent from Germany ($546 million).
It goes without saying that the US is by far Israel’s biggest benefactor, having provided $246 billion in military and economic aid since the close of World War II. In 2016, Washington’s commitment to Tel Aviv was further solidified under the administration of former President Barack Obama with a 10-year memorandum (2019-2028), pledging an astounding $38 billion in military aid to Israel, equating to over $3 billion annually.
Human rights appear to be the last thing on the American mind. As Israeli behaviors worsen, the US is doubling down on its unwavering support for the Israeli war machine and its settler-colonial project, which has resulted in the loss of tens of thousands of Palestinian lives over the past seven decades.
Nearly one in four of Israel’s 1.6 million schoolchildren are educated in a public school system wholly separate from the majority. The children in this parallel school system are Israeli citizens of Palestinian Arab origin. Their schools are a world apart in quality from the public schools serving Israel’s majority Jewish population. Often overcrowded and understaffed, poorly built, badly maintained, or simply unavailable, schools for Palestinian Arab children offer fewer facilities and educational opportunities than are offered other Israeli children. This report is about Israel’s discrimination against its Palestinian Arab children in guaranteeing the right to education.
The Israeli government operates two separate school systems, one for Jewish children and one for Palestinian Arab children. Discrimination against Palestinian Arab children colors every aspect of the two systems. Education Ministry authorities have acknowledged that the ministry spends less per student in the Arab system than in the Jewish school system. The majority’s schools also receive additional state and state-sponsored private funding for school construction and special programs through other government agencies. The gap is enormous–on every criterion measured by Israeli authorities.
The disparities between the two systems examined in this report are identified in part through a review of official statistics. These findings are tested and complemented by the findings of Human Rights Watch’s on-site visits to twenty-six schools in the two systems and our interviews with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and national education authorities.

A spokesman for Meta confirms to AFP that it would not take part in this year’s event, with Google telling the Irish Independent that it too would not be making the trip to Lisbon.
Irish entrepreneur Paddy Cosgrave, co-founder of the Web Summit, wrote on social media platform X last week that he was “shocked at the rhetoric and actions of so many Western leaders & governments.”
“War crimes are war crimes even when committed by allies and should be called out for what they are,” Cosgrave wrote on October 13.
The boycott by Meta and Google follows other exits by companies and tech figures, including Intel, Siemens and US comedian Amy Poehler and X-files actor Gillian Anderson.
The Web Summit is due to host some 2,300 startups and more than 70,000 people on November 13-16 in Lisbon.

The Grayzone’s Max Blumenthal and Aaron Mate cover the global explosion of outrage in response to Israel’s rising atrocities against the Gaza Strip and the threat it poses to American imperium.
When Israel began its illegal ‘total siege’ of Gaza, the political leadership of the Western world converged to line up behind it. It was the natural continuation of decades of support for Israel’s oppression of the Palestinians, termed apartheid by both Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.
Particularly noticeable was the bipartisan support for flagrant violations of the Geneva Conventions, or war crimes. Whether it was the Republicans and Democrats in the US, or the Conservatives and Labour in Britain, everyone was reading from the same hymn sheet.
But in the British context, another thing was also immediately noticeable. There was one party, theoretically in charge of 6% of UK territory, which was speaking forcefully in favour of Palestinian human rights, a lone strident voice in the political mainstream.
This was Sinn Féin, the Irish republican and democratic socialist movement, which in May 2022 became the largest party at the Northern Ireland Assembly, the first time a nationalist party achieved this result since Ireland was partitioned in 1921. Under the terms of the 1998 Good Friday Agreement, Sinn Féin should lead the executive in the territory, although the Unionist opposition have so far obstructed this happening.
Predictably, following Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, Israel opted for a brutal, disproportionate reaction against Gaza’s already-besiged civilian population instead of carrying out a targeted retaliation against the armed resistance.
Several wholesale massacres have now taken place, leveling entire Palestinian neighborhoods, hospitals, and religious sites within the besieged Gaza Strip. As these crimes against humanity escalate, it is no longer just the western world providing cover for Israel’s unhinged and illegal behaviors, but also the collaboration of Arab regimes who stealthily funded the Occupation’s military-industrial complex.
The genocide in Gaza may have curbed the US and Israeli normalization project for now. And perhaps Israel’s arms sales to Arab governments have been hampered temporarily because Tel Aviv needs these weapons.
For those raptly watching for the entry of the region’s Axis of Resistance into this battle, the goal will not simply be the defeat of Israel but also the unraveling of all Arab normalization with the Occupation state. In the final analysis, Arab states will be held accountable for the funding of Israel’s war on Gaza.
Last week, New York Governor Kathy Hochul was asked about her message to members of the state’s Palestinian community “who fear for their own civilian loved ones” in Gaza. She responded by calling for “law-abiding Palestinians to reject Hamas”, without mentioning violence against Palestinians.
Meanwhile, in San Francisco, District Attorney Brooke Jenkins called a peaceful protest for Gaza on Saturday a “pro-Hamas rally” in a now-deleted social media post.
Afterwards, in a statement to Al Jazeera, Jenkins said she removed the post after listening to concerns from the Arab and Muslim community. She cited graffiti that said “death 2 Israel” that was sprayed in downtown San Francisco on the same day as the march.
…and so, all those war crimes, tens of millions bombed and tortured and starved, here, on his 100th birthday, but many more spring chickens have learned Kissinger’s Rasputin-Machiavelli Ways
But few can rival the feral reputation that history has hung around the neck of Grigory Rasputin, the evil-smelling Siberian peasant, hypnotist and confidant to Russian royalty.
Svengali is a character in the novel Trilby which was first published in 1894 by George du Maurier. Svengali is a Jewish man who seduces, dominates and exploits Trilby, a young half-Irish girl, and makes her into a famous singer.
After the book’s publication in 1894, the word “svengali” has come to refer to a person who, with evil intent, dominates, manipulates and controls another.
In court, the Svengali Defence is a legal tactic that portrays the defendant as a pawn in the scheme of a greater, and more influential, criminal mastermind.
Destiny and Power shows a VP with more authority than almost all his predecessors, making plain Bush Jr’s administration could have been even worse
Cheney and Rumsfeld used their enhanced power to poison the flow of information to the president’s desk about Iraq and its supposed weapons of mass destruction. The vice-president even made repeated trips to CIA headquarters in Langley to bully analysts into producing more hawkish reports, while Rumsfeld’s Pentagon sucked up highly dubious “evidence” from Iraqi exiles and ideological freelancers. But, as even as the ever-forgiving father admits in Meacham’s book, it was President Bush who allowed Cheney to grow his own empire.
Perhaps the most alarming revelation to emerge from the new Bush biography is the elder man’s recollection that while Cheney had been his defence secretary, he had commissioned a study on how many tactical nuclear weapons would be needed to eliminate a division of Saddam Hussein’s Republican Guard.
Apparently the answer was 17, though a more profound conclusion is that Cheney was a more dangerous figure than anyone knew. It adds weight to reporting by Seymour Hersh in the New Yorker that Cheney also contemplated the use of low-yield nuclear bunker-busters against Iran’s underground uranium enrichment facilities. The more we hear about the George W Bush administration, the clearer it becomes that the global damage it wrought could have been even worse.
February 28, in 1961, John F. Kennedy appointed Kissinger as consultant for foreign affairs. Despite spending only several days a week in the White House and being kept at bay by his dean-turned-boss, Kissinger earned wide influence over the president’s policies.
As part of America’s chess game with the Soviets during the Cold War, Kissinger, as secretary of state and national security advisor to Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, became an unflinching supporter and, at least in the case of Chile, co-conspirator, of the coups d’etat and military dictatorships that spread throughout South America in the 1970s. Tens of thousands of people were tortured and killed in clandestine camps, their bodies dumped from planes into rivers, their children stolen and given away under false identities. In his book The Trial of Henry Kissinger, Christopher Hitchens argued convincingly that Kissinger deserved prosecution “for war crimes, for crimes against humanity, and for offenses against common or customary or international law, including conspiracy to commit murder, kidnap, and torture.”

but with US and UK aircraft carriers, out in the Mediterranean & Five Eyes (more than 5) amped up, and alas, forget about 1.2 billion China and 185 million Russia and 1.3 India doing anything!

Get the fucking memo, man = SAVAGERY or SOCIALISM, and Capitalism is Barbaric, and SAVAGERY is winning. Forty years ago?
Taking advantage of the chaos generated by his assassination, Washington decided to intervene militarily in this Caribbean country through the “Urgent Fury” operation.
On October 19, 1983, Grenadian Prime Minister Maurice Bishop and 15 members of his cabinet were executed following a palace coup orchestrated by his deputy Bernard Coard. Their bodies have never been found.
He came to power in March 1979, when “the New Jewel Movement successfully led a coup against the authoritarian government of Eric Gairy,” the African Stream recalled.
“Bishop was installed as the prime minister, and his administration implemented a series of socialist reforms, including land redistribution, education expansion, and healthcare improvements,” it added.
Forget Gaza.
A concentration camp? Since when were concentration camps, i.e. open air prisons, on the radar of big bad Russia and China and India?
Really, with nuclear subs and aircraft carriers and the USA having more eyes and more corrupt followers than can meet the eye, what the hell can Russia and China and India do for the Palestinians and stop them from being fried?
Do you believe any of the numbers for dead Ukrainians since the SMO started Feb. 22, 2022? Is it 400,000 KIA, a million maimed? Is it 200,000 and 500,000 maimed? And Russians, how many DOA? Is it 100,000 and 300,000 maimed? Is it 60,000 KIA and 150,000 maimed?
No massive upheaval here, because a majority dead and wounded are soldiers? What is a soldier, anyway? One day a father, son, brother, uncle, aunt, mother, sister, and then, the next day, forced into uniform, and two weeks or two months or two years later, crafted into a mean killing machine?
And so we get this insane proposition:
I just don’t see the ideas these people expouse. There are no great armies of techies, satellite operators, thousand-plane squadrons, spy planes, global hawk moniters within any third world country, and alas, they can’t do squat to stop the carnage.
The average westerner is a cold, mean, proxy-loving killing machine. Dressed in Armani and Brooks Brothers, caviar spoon at the ready, great massive meetings of the beautiful and doctorate level people who, again, are genetically weak, physically, but mentally as tough as any Rambo, and these beautiful people are okay with this lie or that lie about the Gaza Hospital bombing.
No one in power or in business or in academia listens: Prof. Marandi of the University of Tehran says a larger war, involving Iran, Hezbollah and others, is becoming more likely by the day as Israel continues its bombardment of Gaza. President Biden is now visiting Israel, doubling down on the United States’ unconditional support of the apartheid regime. Days after the Un documented how Israel had struck schools and hospitals where Palestinians had taken refuge, a major hospital suffered a direct hit, killing more than 500. Brian Becker is joined by Professor Mohammad Marandi. He is an expert on American studies and postcolonial literature who teaches at the University of Tehran.
I like Pepe, but look at this sick headline. Ballet?
Here, hero, Cynthia! Mike Robinson speaks to Vanessa Beeley, Eva Bartlet and Cynthia McKinney about their experiences of living in Gaza.
“Every candidate for Congress at that time had a pledge. They were given a pledge to sign … that had Jerusalem as the capital city,” McKinney said in an interview with Press TV on Sunday.
“You make a commitment that you would vote to support the military superiority of Israel that the economic assistant that Israel wants that you would vote to provide that,” she added.
McKinney said that if a candidate does not sign the pledge or perform accordingly, “then you do not get money to run your campaign.”
The former Congresswoman said that after she made the pledge issue public “the tactic changed.”
“But this is what is done for 535 members of the United States Congress, 100 senators and 435 members of the House of Representatives have to now write a paragraph which basically says the same thing.”
Her comments came as US President Barack Obama vowed to sustain Israel’s military superiority over its neighbors at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s (AIPAC) annual gathering on Sunday.
“We (the US) will maintain Israel’s qualitative military edge ….We have increased military financing to record levels,” Obama said.
How many crimes have Bush A and Bush B, Clinton A and Clinton AB, and Obama, Biden, Trump, Ford, Carter, Nixon, LBJ, Reagan committed to the final end of several hundred million people, including several million children?
Gaza?
This is embarassing hearing journalists continuing this tap dance around the foolish question where Israel do it or didn’t do it?
This is standard operating procedure:
Here, from Substacker, Don Hank, and he’s a good fellow, but what the fuck does it matter, this headline?
Hundreds of people were killed on Tuesday by a devastating airstrike on the Anglican al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City. Although Israel now blames the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) for the bombing, observers, including reporters from MSNBC and the BBC, suggest that this is unlikely. A reporter for the BBC stated on air:
The Israeli military.. have said they are investigating, but it’s hard to see what else this could be, really, given the size of the explosion, other than an Israeli air strike…”
The Anglican News Service also reported that the same hospital was hit by an Israeli rocket the day before the massive explosion.
Hananya Naftali, who currently works for Benjamin Netanyahu as a deputy media advisor, initially posted via social media that Israel had bombed the al-Ahli hospital before deleting the post and blaming PIJ for the attack.
The carnage is fine with Sam Altman, Zuckerberg, Bloomberg, Dell, and, at least 139 Jews of the Forbes 400 billionaires. So, these fellows and their millions of workers, and their tens of thousands of colleges and schools they influence and those thousands of politicians under their thumb, you think any one of them will fight back, and do you think even ONE of these below having said that Isra-Hell is an apartheid and genocidal state?

[Photo: High school seniors (including the author’s daughter carrying the red and black flag of the 1980 literacy campaign) march in their final Independence Day parade before graduating and heading off to technical or university education. They represent the first generation to have attended their whole school career under Nicaragua’s current Sandinista government.]
Thanks to a complete overhaul of the country’s educational system in the past 15 years, record numbers of students are graduating from high school. Although recent international headlines claim academic spaces are closing in Nicaragua, there is now actually increased access to free public universities. That, combined with hundreds of free vocational programs around the country, means that the class of 2023 has more options open to them than ever before.
In a few short weeks, our youngest daughter Orla will graduate from high school. Recently I went to her school to watch as she and her friends marched in blue and white one final time to celebrate Nicaragua’s Independence. I’ll admit that I got nostalgic remembering Orla in her tiny blue and white preschool uniform marching around our neighborhood. At the same time, however, I felt such excitement for the lives these young people have ahead of them now.
Like all students nearing graduation, Orla and her friends are deciding what to do next. But while high school graduates in the United States this year are facing an average cost of $145,700 for a four-year undergraduate degree, Nicaragua’s graduates have a multitude of further education opportunities available to them for free.
It is difficult to grasp what a revolutionary change this is from just a generation ago. Orla’s friends’ parents grew up in Nicaragua’s neoliberal years when schools were so underfunded that children sat on the floor and used pilfered paving stones as desks. Their families were charged fees that made it impossible for many kids to attend school at all.
In 2003, the average Nicaraguan had only 3.5 years of schooling and only 30% of those starting 1st grade were expected to finish 6th grade.* As a result, by the time that Orla’s classmates were being born in 2006, only one quarter of the country was able to read or write. Many of Orla’s friends’ parents didn’t finish high school, let alone attend university, and a full quarter of their generation had no schooling at all.*
Orla’s class, however, has had a very different experience of education, because they represent the first generation to have attended their whole school career under Nicaragua’s current Sandinista government.
When President Daniel Ortega took office in 2007 following the 16 years of neoliberal rule [reduced social spending and state employment], he immediately declared health care and education free again. Over the past 16 years, the Sandinista government has made huge investments in training teachers, improving school infrastructure and revolutionizing the school curriculum. The results of these policy changes are evident in the proud, confident students now posing for photos in cap and gown as they prepare to receive their high school diplomas – today, many more Nicaraguans are high school graduates.
But the revolution isn’t stopping there. As more young people graduate from high school, more are seeking further education. Through local municipal governments and a national technical school, there are now 53 vocational training centers around the country with more than 130 programs graduating 46,500 students annually. Is resistence futile in this day and age where the dirty people of Israel bomb the hell into the innocents as the Zionists and Jews agress that Palestinians are less than vermin?
Ambulance paramedic Ahmed Youssef el-Luh:
Can you describe what exactly happened?
We arrived to alarm call at a hospital located in the center of Gaza. We came and saw – genocide. They were saved only under the trees, no rooms, no shelters. They bombed them with rockets. No one was injured – everyone was killed. This is genocide. We can’t count them. This murder must stop. Leaders of the world, you must stop this massacre against the people of Gaza. You must stop the genocide of Gaza. We can’t count the people because most of them were torn to pieces. At least 30-40% of them are children. We took the children first, then the women and men.
A number of sources report that the death toll in the hospital in Gaza will not only exceed 1,000 dead (now officially more than 800), but may reach 2,000 or even 3,000. At the time of the strike, there were more than 5,000 patients and refugees in the hospital, as well as medical staff.
The massacre of Palestinians also led to the fact that today’s “peacekeeping” summit with Biden in Jordan was canceled. The Palestinians refused to participate in it. BIden is asked by the vermin, the Zionists, for more bombs kill babies.
Ramzan Kadyrov called on Israel to stop the escalation of the conflict with Palestine.
“Don’t provoke people. Do not tease or provoke Muslims around the world to retaliate. It will cost you so much that you will lose a thousand times more than you will find. Think before you make one of the biggest and fateful mistakes in your history.”
The head of Chechnya noted that Israel was carried away by its permissiveness and “threatens to wipe an entire nation off the face of the earth for the whole world.”

And here, the Inbred Un-United King(sic)Dumb: A BBC correspondent believes a hospital in Gaza was attacked by an Israeli aircraft
“Given the size of the explosion, it’s hard to imagine that it could be other than an Israeli airstrike or multiple airstrikes. Because when we see rockets fired from Gaza, we never see explosions on this scale. We have witnessed half a dozen, maybe a little bit more, people killed by such rocket attacks.
But we’ve never seen anything like the scale of the explosion in the video that I watched earlier, which, as you said, has yet to be verified,” John Donnison, a former special correspondent for the media corporation in the Gaza Strip, told BBC correspondent John Donnison in a television broadcast.
Wael Dahdouh, an Al Jazeera correspondent in the Gaza Strip reporting from al-Ahli, described finding mostly scattered limbs.
“It’s rare to find a full body with all its parts,” he said. “The deeper we went in the hospital, we saw more shocking scenes.”
Trying to muddy the waters
At moments like this, Israel has a habit of pumping out propaganda to muddy the waters in order to shift blame and create a media narrative of uncertainty and controversy, just as it did after its soldiers murdered Al Jazeera correspondent Shireen Abu Akleh last year.
I am getting sick to my stomach as I hear more and more calm, pragmatic, sitting in their fucking overstuff Podcast chairs men, mostly, yammering on and on about Hamas, about their strategy, about the surprise attack or the false flag or black flag or this or that leaked or unleaked bit of intelligence and signals about the Oct. 7 attack.
Look, if you are with me, then take this with a grain of salt: You scared, pathetic, Hollywood/TikTok-loving reality-TV-scuking Freaks, you animals of the Amazon Prime Species, all of you back to school bargain hunters, all you bundled up Homecoming Football nuts, all you preppers for Halloween and Thanks(Killing)giving, and all you ready-to-lay-out-the-biggest-post-planned-pandemic-Xmas-display-meal-ever sick fuckers who think this is just another lazy day of terrorism met with Israeli Idealism.
I was at the Portland Airport today. No Palestine flags on cars, in the air, on bumpers. The filing fools heading to ticket counters and gates and TSA fondling lines, none of these fellow whatevers had even a shade of shame on their faces.
Business as usual. My keffiyeh? No one looked me in the eye, challenged me, thanked me. Hundreds of motherfuckers.
Now now, open air prison, open air concentration camp, open air death camp, open air stockyard, open air internment. Two million plus in Gaza. What the fuck do you think you’d do if you had been kicked out of Arizona or LA or Chicago, uh, 75 years ago, and then put in a stockyard, with water, air, sewer, toilets, electricity, food and movement controlled by these human stain? Generations, your great great grandchildren maimed for throwing a rock at a fucking tank?
These fuckers above need to be shot. Rolled up and shot. Burned at the stake. You get the fucking picture, no, as a woman, father, son, daughter, faced with these racist and superstitioius supremacists?
“This is the age of men, not of pygmies, not of serfs and peons and dogs, but men and we who make up the membership of the Universal Negro Improvement Association reflect the new manhood of the Negro. The Israel-Palestinian conflict is intensifying rapidly in the wake of recent attacks by Hamas, reversing recent progress on the diplomatic front in the prospect of Israeli normalization with the Arab world. However, Israel’s response from here on out must be calculated carefully. It is understood that Israel will target Hamas group members, militants, and the group’s defense logistics; however, pursuing a collective punishment against all civilians in Gaza is a very critical issue. Distinguishing between Hamas and civilians in Gaza is a must. Gaza is one of the most densely populated places on earth, with almost two million people living in an area of around 140 square miles. Moreover, the humanitarian situation in Gaza was already in a dire state prior to the outbreak of new hostilities, making the latest deterioration all the more alarming, as recently warned by United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres. As of Monday, October 9th, Israel has cut off electricity, water and energy supplies to Gaza.
The emotional impact on the Arab world must be considered. The ramifications of this conflict could extend beyond the political realm, as it deeply affects the hearts and minds of people across the Arab and Muslim nations, generating resentment against Israel and a sense of helplessness in being able to help fellow Arabs in Gaza. Furthermore, the conflict will further unite the Arab world in solidarity with the Palestinians, their Muslim brethren, in the face of what is perceived as indiscriminate Israeli aggression against civilians. This emotional connection across the Arab world strengthens support for Palestine and increases pressure on governments to act, both diplomatically and materially. And it’s likely to be more powerful than previous waves in the conflict, as nowadays posts and videos on social media fuel the Arab population’s public opinion, as reflected in eruptions of pro-Palestinian protests across Arab states as well as Muslim communities in the West, for example in Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, France, the UK, and Canada among other countries. In more tangible terms, the threat stems from the opportunity that is thus afforded to extremists and radical groups to exploit the Arab street and recruit and radicalize sympathizers. In this respect, it is extremely dangerous to view the Israel-Hamas conflict as a religious war, as stated by Republican US Senator Lindsey Graham. Should the crisis be viewed in such manner, this has the totally unwelcome potential to strain relations between Arab nations and other countries, as well as give extremists and radical groups the opportunity to perpetuate a cycle of violence leading to impeding progress towards a much-needed peaceful resolution between Israel and Palestine as well as between Israel and the broader Middle East.
By any means necessary, these old white men, Biden and his mentally-drained cousins and sisters and fathers and sons and daughters, bats to the head:
Joseph Czuba, a 71-year-old white supremacist Islamophobe from Plainfield, stabbed Wadea Al-Fayoume 26 times on Saturday and seriously wounded his mother because they were Muslims.
The slain boy’s mother Hanaan Shahin, 32, was reportedly stabbed more than a dozen times and is currently battling for her life in the intensive care unit of a local hospital.
“Both victims in this brutal attack were targeted by the suspect due to them being Muslim and the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict involving Hamas and the Israelis,” Will County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement, referring to the Israeli regime’s genocide of Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Washington-based Muslim civil rights and advocacy group, shared text messages sent by Wadea’s mother to his father.
According to the group, when the woman opened the door, the hate-spewing landlord attempted to choke her first and then immediately stabbed her, yelling “You Muslims must die!”
The mother frantically ran to the bathroom to call police and in the blink of an eye she found that the 71-year-old man had also stabbed her 6-year-old son. “It all happened in seconds,” she wrote in a text.

West Philly, 1985. Police bomb MOVE.
Mary E. Jones Parrish was a teacher and journalist in the Greenwood district who gathered photos and firsthand accounts of the massacre, including her own. In her Events of the Tulsa Disaster, self-published in 1922 (and republished in 2021), she recalls seeing “fast-approaching aeroplanes” and that “more than a dozen aeroplanes went up and began to drop turpentine balls upon the Negro residences.” One of the anonymous eyewitnesses she quotes said they saw low-flying airplanes that “left the entire block a mass of flame” as they passed over the district. Reporting for The Nation, Walter White wrote that “eight aeroplanes were employed to spy on the movements of the Negroes and according to some were used in bombing the colored section.” According to the 2001 Commission report, Black newspapers were “full of stories of turpentine or nitroglycerin bombs being dropped and men shooting from planes.”
Buck Colbert Franklin, a Tulsa attorney and the father of historian John Hope Franklin, also remembered “turpentine balls” falling from the sky. “I could see planes circling in mid-air,” Franklin wrote in a 10-page manuscript on yellow legal pad that was discovered in 2015. “They grew in number and hummed, darted and dipped low. I could hear something like hail failing upon the top of my office building… The side-walks were literally covered with burning turpentines balls. I knew all too well where they came from and I knew all too well why every burning building first caught from the top.”
One hundred years ago, an airborne attack, likely the first airborne bombs to hit American soil, set a vibrant Black community in Tulsa, Oklahoma aflame. What began as a misunderstanding between a Black boy and a white girl in an elevator, was fueled by racism and became one of the most devastating—yet less taught—events in American history. The 1921 massacre left more than 9,000 Black residents of Greenwood homeless, more than 600 thriving Black businesses burned to ashes, and about 300 people dead. The destruction of Black Wall Street will always be a part of America’s soiled past of racial discrimintation and violence, a history passed down through generations and media even if rarely addressed in school curricula. But its memory can continue to fuel the ongoing conversation in America around race, racism, and social justice.
Jews or Tulsans, this is the DNA of mutants, monsters, and in the West, as well as with the majority of Jews in Isra-hell, Occupied Palestine, this is the SOP: collective amnesia, agnotology, agnosticism, acquiescence, amorality, aggression, acceptance

I went to the community meeting. Around 25 people there, listening to two guests around a community bill of rights, for Lane County (Oregon). You know, the people, citizens, having the say on who and what can come into their communities.
‘…A say in what can and cannot be sprayed on their food, land, bodies, water, soil….’
I’ve done this before, and I’ll cut and paste that old piece below from Spokane.
Infanticide, first, in Gaza. Hell on Earth, not because this hasn’t happened before in history, but because we are here now, 2023, with Telegram and instant videos. We are supposedly ruled by the Chosen People of Israel and the Blinken-Nuland-Yellen-Garland-Kagan-Dirty-Hellion-Bargain.
Those dirty White House Thugs look like cancerous Homo Bellum. Rotting faces, slag for eyes, like a George Soros or Larry Fink or Larry Summers.
HELL on earth.
Oh, the Monster, the Oppen-Monster-Heimer:
“If we’d lost the war, we’d all have been prosecuted as war criminals.” So said Curtis LeMay after America obliterated Hiroshima and Nagasaki with two atomic bombs in August 1945.
There has been great difficulty in estimating the total casualties in the Japanese cities as a result of the atomic bombing. The extensive destruction of civil installations (hospitals, fire and police department, and government agencies) the state of utter confusion immediately following the explosion, as well as the uncertainty regarding the actual population before the bombing, contribute to the difficulty of making estimates of casualties. The Japanese periodic censuses are not complete. Finally, the great fires that raged in each city totally consumed many bodies.
The number of total casualties has been estimated at various times since the bombings with wide discrepancies. The Manhattan Engineer District’s best available figures are:
TABLE A: Estimates of Casualties
Hiroshima Nagasaki
(Pre-raid pop.) 255,000 195,000
Dead 66,000 39,000
Injured 69,000 25,000
Total Casualties: 135,000 64,000
Hydrogen bombs, or just plain old Greek Fire!
Fire, whether from Jewish Whiskey Pete (white phosphorus) or U$A napalm, it kills kills civilians.
Katsumoto Saotome, 87, came to the door of his home in the outer reaches of Tokyo wearing a herringbone blazer, a black wool scarf tucked neatly into a vest and a black beret that he reckons makes him look like Che Guevara, the guerrilla leader in the Cuban Revolution. Saotome has practiced radicalism of a much quieter kind, insisting on preserving memories that many may prefer to forget.
Seventy-eith years ago, less than 10 miles from where he now lives alone in a low-lying neighborhood known for its moderate rents, Saotome (pronounced SAH-oh-toe-meh) survived the brutally effective American firebombing of Tokyo. Over the course of nearly three hours, an attack by the United States Army Air Forces killed as many as 100,000 people — more than some estimates of the number killed the day of the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima. But while the Japanese public — and the world — rightly remember Hiroshima as a living symbol of the horrors of nuclear war, the Tokyo firebombing is generally regarded as a footnote in any accounting of the war in Japan.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), one of the most common chronic metabolic diseases, involves a complex interaction among genetic, epigenetic, and environmental risk factors. The incidence and prevalence of T2DM are rapidly increasing globally. In recent years, increasing body of evidences from both human and animal studies have displayed an association between exposure to early unfavorable life factors such as endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) and the prevalence of T2DM in later life. The exogenous EDCs can lead to disadvantageous metabolic consequences because they interfere with the synthesis, secretion, transport, binding, action, and metabolism of endogenous hormones. EDCs also have long-term adverse effects on newborns, children, and adolescents by causing increased susceptibility to T2DM in adults. This review summarizes the most recent advances in this field, including diabetes-related EDCs (bisphenol A, phthalates, chlordane compounds, parabens, pesticides, and other diabetes-related EDCs), EDC exposure and gestational diabetes mellitus, prenatal and perinatal EDC exposures and T2DM, adult EDC exposure and T2DM, transgenerational effects of EDCs on T2DM as well as the possible diabetogenic mechanisms.
So in my tiny neck of the woods, where a Danish guy with 260 acres which he just clear-cut is shooting for helicopter spraying of poison on the land so the weeds go bye-bye and the Scotch Broom, et al go bye-bye. And the timber industry lies, gets tax abatements, and has a propaganda wing here paid for by Oregon taxpayers!
For the past couple of decades, tens of thousands of people living in rural Sri Lanka have been devastated by kidney failure due to unclear causes, also known as CKDu. Similar incidences of mysterious kidney diseases have emerged in tropical farming communities around the world.
A massive field study of the wells supplying drinking water to the Sri Lankan communities, conducted by researchers at Duke University, has identified a possible culprit — glyphosate, the active compound in Roundup, the most widely used herbicide in the world. (source)
It’s global, the death and slow death and disease by 10,000,000 cuts, as Gaza burns and the UkroNazi’s burn burn burn.
Progress has been made in recent years, but much remains to be done. Here are some examples of incremental advances in the fight to end herbicide use in Oregon forestry under the recent Private Forest Accord:
In early 2022, the EPA banned use of chlorpyrifos on food and feed crops, and starting Jan. 1, 2024, new Oregon Department of Agriculture rules will disallow most uses of the insecticide, including spraying on forestlands.
In 2020, then-Governor Kate Brown helped catalyze the Private Forest Accord between some environmental groups and the timber industry. Later that year, that negotiation resulted in the Oregon Legislature passing Senate Bill 1602, which increased buffers for streams and improved the system for electronic reporting and notification of neighbors within a mile of areas to be sprayed by helicopters.
But those new rules did not require any reductions in the frequency or amounts of pesticides sprayed. Environmentalists and impacted communities want the practice significantly reduced or banned altogether, and the Oregon Chapter Sierra Club will continue to work for that change. (source)

More slogging on. Here, my piece a long time ago about community bill of rights movement in Spokane when I had one of a dozen gigs surviving:
The right to community
Envisioning a new Spokane puts ‘business as usual’ on chopping block
[Photo: Local farmer Brian Estes, foreground, stands with Kai Huschke, campaign director of Envision Spokane and leader of Proposition 1 at Estes’ Vinegar Flats garden. (Paul K. Haeder / Down to Earth NW Correspodent)]
Here’s one credo that scares guys like Frank Schaeffer, son of evangelist Francis Schaeffer and author of “Crazy for God: How I Grew Up As One Of The Elect, Helped Found The Religious Right, And Lived To Take All (Or Almost All) Of It Back.”
“God’s Word gives women respect and respectability which they had never enjoyed in any other culture, and we must do what we can to preserve biblical standards. But it establishes the man as the head of the house.”
Now replace the word “man” with “corporation” and you have what amounts to what many in the world – not just the U.S. – see as the dictum of the 21st century: Corporations are the head of our house.
Many are fighting back this imbalance of power and justice, including grassroots groups. Via Campesino, the Transition Cities movements, even foodies are fighting the corporate “infection” to preserve rights to safe, non-genetically modified, animal-cruelty free food.
One local impetus to give people more say in how neighborhoods form and evolve is on Spokane’s November ballot. Envision Spokane, which gained 25 percent of the yea votes in 2010, is returning.
Kai Huschke, campaign director of Envision Spokane and leader of Proposition 1, cites several past movements in the U.S. to gain citizen rights – like abolishing slavery and giving full citizenship to people of color. He references a quote from Abigail Adams, urging her husband John in 1776 to treat women as equals in the Declaration of Independence:
“We are determined to foment a rebellion, and will not hold ourselves bound by any laws in which we have no voice or representation.”
A second quote,
“I saw clearly that the power to make the laws was the right through which all other rights could be secured” came in 1884 when 32-year-old Elizabeth Cady Stanton – joined by Susan B. Anthony and Sojourner Truth – spoke at a women’s rally to gain the constitutional right to vote.
Huschke compares U.S. women getting the vote in 1920 after dozens of defeats to the heavy lifting he and his supporters must do to get a community bill of rights approved.
“Many would say that what we have today is a corporate state,” Huschke said. “Living within the corporate state there are no remedies to protecting safety, health, and welfare of communities. Adopting amendments to the Spokane’s home rule charter puts in place remedies to protect and nourish neighborhoods, river and workplaces. These amendments acknowledge our protections and that the power is with the people where it comes to significant impacts to neighborhoods and river.”
The 10 amendments to the 2009 bill of rights were defeated, Huschke said, by corporate bucks to the tune of $400,000 from Spokane Home Builder’s Association, Associated Builders and Contractors and other unlimited pro-growth groups.
Recently, the local GOP’s executive committee voted to oppose the 2011 proposition. That doesn’t faze Kai.
“The rhetoric will get turned up as the powerful, monied interests make claims about property rights being under attack and costs if the Community Bill of Rights is adopted. The same stuff was said in 2009,” he said.
“I’ve talked to people who voted against it in 2009, who said once they took the time to read it they would’ve voted yes. If I have to ask anything of Spokane voters, it’s to cover your ears and read what’s being proposed.”
When you have the Greater Spokane Incorporated throwing weight and money behind an anti-Community Bill of Rights movement, it’s easy to see the greater good.
“Spokane is long overdue in recognizing the value of our neighborhoods, our river, and workplaces,” Kai said. “We have a golden opportunity to show how to build a sustainable community. By honoring and protecting our assets we put ourselves in a position advocating for health and welfare over profit for profit sake, that other communities aren’t even close to considering.”
The history of communities gaining power back from outside agitators, carpetbaggers or corporate conglomerates is tied to public health and safety, centered around bad corporate behavior like factory farms’ waste ponds causing human and animal health issues; coal companies’ slurry lakes leaking millions of gallons of waste into rivers; quarry works that foul water; or energy companies that pollute the air along the Houston to Baton Rouge corridor where asthma and cancers are sky-high, according to CDC studies.
A community movement similar to Envision Spokane recently rose up against the energy lobby to put brakes on exploitation of shale deposits. The process known as hydraulic fracturing to get at natural gas fouls the water and has been implicated in earthquakes. Arkansas has temporarily stopped this process.
The Spokane Community Bill of Rights has its roots in a larger, more holistic frame – the Rights of Nature, something that sticks in the craws of GOP party loyalists, Chambers of Commerce and business interests.
Bolivia’s Law of the Rights of Mother Earth was enacted by President Evo Morales January 2011. It addresses that country’s natural resources as “blessings” and grants Earth rights to life, water and clean air; the right to repair livelihoods affected by human activities; and the right to be free from pollution.
Bolivia has established a Ministry of Mother Earth, a sort of global ombudsman whose job is to listen to nature’s complaints voiced by activists and others, including the state.
“If you want to have balance, and you think that the only (entities) with rights are humans or companies, how can you reach balance?” says Pablo Salon, Bolivia’s ambassador to the U.N. “But if you recognize nature has rights, and (if you provide) legal forums to protect and preserve those rights, you can achieve balance.”
Kai understands the power of people bicycling safely in Spokane with engineering and land use changes guided by citizens. He sees the power of community gardens and programs like Riverfront Farm putting disadvantaged youth to work in farming and landscaping experiential learning experiences. He sees corporations destroying community-based tools to fight their shock doctrine of financial wizards, disturbances created by climate change, or volatility of food and energy.
Communities under the current regulatory system are poorly suited to manage under the current political system, Kai insists. It’s clear that even presidential aspirants like Mitt Romney can end up tongue-tied when a citizen at a rally asked about the power and rights of corporations: “Corporations are people, my friends.”
For Envision Spokane’s backers this line of logic is a slap in the face of our own bill of rights and democratic institutions tied to a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Kai said this effort is a vital one.
“The assault on public workers from corporate interests has been daunting. There is no reason not to believe that this attack won’t carry into the private sector. In the spring the Spokane City Council passed a resolution supporting collective bargaining for city employees. The Community Bill of Rights would protect that right with binding law for all unionized city workers. There is a power grab happening across the country, and Spokane needs to make sure it protects its workers.”

Community Rights, Agency Capture, Corporations as People?
“I’m not expecting to see the world I envision, but I don’t want to be a foot soldier for corporations.”
– Michelle Holman.
I’m at the Waldport Central Oregon Coast Fire and Rescue (10/15) with twenty-two other residents listening to Holman and David Tvedt discuss the work of Lane County Community Rights.
It is a room full of gray-haired men and women, anxious to hear from these two gray panthers on their work to codify a bill of rights for Lane County citizens to write laws.
I’ve been in this rodeo before – El Paso, Seattle and Spokane, where I covered the work of Envision Spokane, a bill that would’ve enshrined on voters the right o determine the community’s health, safety and welfare.
I was hosting a radio show focused on sustainability, social justice, and environmental stewardship. I had two regular news columns – in the weekly and a monthly magazine. I was sustainability coordinator for the community college.
It was a lot of work getting people out to participate in events around clean water, clean air, food, transportation and ecosystems.
My biggest goal after codifying guest authors, film festivals, teach-ins, and Earth Day festivals was to get the so-called “younger generation” involved. It was somewhat easy since I taught at Gonzaga and SFCC, and had cohorts at Whitworth and WSU and Eastern Washington University.
Even so, I had to solicit help from local musicians, local restaurants, and merchants for entertainment, food, swill and swag.
Here, today, years later, I am in a room with older folk who are concerned to aerial spraying of herbicides on a clear cut along Beaver Creek. Tvelt has been working on forest issues since 1970. His degree in forestry informs his fight to galvanize common sense into forest management and logging.
For many in the audience they learned about the value of forests– mixed species of trees, shrubs and even weeds – as a way to help with water flows.
Hard logging reduces water flow because organic matter, downed trees and other forest dynamics are eradicated by timber companies. Tvelt recalled taking a chain saw on a four-foot downed log for a clearway on a path near Sweethome whereupon the cut produced “a full-blast flow of water . . . like a water spigot was turned on.” It lasted for two minutes.
Wells and springs are drying up in summers and in many cases year round. Pressure on watersheds can be located directly to the growth of human populations. Additionally, clear cutting and other heavy logging practices reduce the natural flow of things. This is not rocket science, and the memo on this was written decades ago.
The community meeting centered around spraying of chemicals. The News Times has run stories, letters to the editor and editorials debating acreage along Beaver Creek scheduled for helicopter herbicide application.
It’s no secret that our state’s timber industry’s practice of spraying herbicides — all of them dangerous to humans, fish and animals — has been highly controversial for decades. Studies show that up to 40 percent of the pesticides sprayed onto forestland by helicopters is blown off course from its targets (drift).
These toxic sprays — used by the timber industry to kill insects, weeds and vegetation in areas that have been clear cut — drift onto land on or near homes, farms, streams and lakes.
While many of the inert ingredients and specialized mixes are industry secrets, the main pesticides include triclopyr, chlorpyrifos, Diuron and 2,4-D (one of the so-called “Agent Orange” chemicals).
Study after study has show all of these singularly or synergistically are linked to diseases and health issues, including respiratory problems, liver and kidney damage, miscarriages, and cancer.
Regulating how much poison should be allowed in food, air and water is antithetical to Michele Holman’s ethos. She’s lived 47 years in the Coast Range, tossing out the activist script of going to the state capitol to beg for redress on any range of environmental concerns.
“I got tired of the retort, ‘It’s legal . . . well settled in law.’ Just because it’s legal doesn’t mean it’s just.”
Agency capture, lobbying influence, campaign meddling/contributions, and propaganda on a massive scale work in favor of rich corporations, whether it is Boeing and planes or Weyerhaeuser and logging.
A recent push is for a community rights movement to catch like wildfire throughout the state. Protect Lane County Watersheds is spearheading the Rights of Nature law (supported by CELDF, Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund) to protect drinking water and watersheds throughout the county.
The old adage, ‘you can’t fight city hall,’ has dangerously morphed into: “Corporations are considered people, so you can’t stop them from doing business as usual because they have equal rights . . . and then some.”
I’ve been studying these chemicals for decades. Rosemary Mason from England is an amazing researcher who does on the ground work as well as collates hundreds of scientific field studies on that infamous weed killer used on clear-cut’s – glyphosate. You can read a journal article like this one, “The Effects of Clearcutting and Glyphosate Herbicide Use on Parasitic Wasps in Maine Forests.”
Or, a recent Duke University report, “Roundup Ingredient Connected to Epidemic Levels of Chronic Kidney Disease.” You can spend years digging through the science that never gets in front of mainstream media’s unwatchful eye.
Citizens involved in Stop the Spray at Beaver Creek are concerned for their health, as well as the health of children, grandchildren and the entire life web of our ecosystem.
Countless studies which are looking at pesticides and herbicides produce chilling findings: “For the past couple of decades, tens of thousands of people living in rural Sri Lanka have been devastated by kidney failure.”
This massive field study of the wells supplying drinking water to the Sri Lankan communities, conducted by researchers at Duke University, has identified a possible culprit — glyphosate.
When it’s in your backyard, the alarm goed off. Chilling: November 14 is World Diabetes Day. Here we go again, more reading: “Exposure to Endocrine-Disrupting Chemicals and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Later Life.”
Community Rights Fight: State and Federal Preemption
One of the first things an elected official does upon taking office is to swear an oath to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution. Unfortunately for local communities and the environment, the Commerce Clause, which gives Congress the power “to regulate commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states …” is an integral part of that constitution. According to the Cornell School of Law, “Congress has often used the Commerce Clause to justify exercising legislative power over the activities of states and their citizens, leading to significant and ongoing controversy regarding the balance of power between the federal government and the states. The Commerce Clause has historically been viewed as both a grant of congressional authority and as a restriction on the regulatory authority of the States.”
Imploring Oregon Governor Kate Brown to say “NO” the aerial spraying or to Jordan Cove’s LNG project is literally asking her to violate her oath of office and assumes she has plenary authority (or the balls) to stand up to federal preemption. She does not.
The Community Doesn’t Have the Legal Authority to Say “No”! The existing structure of law ensures that people are blocked from advancing their rights, governing their own communities and acting as stewards of the environment, while protecting corporate “rights” and interests over those of communities and nature.
Community Rights work is a paradigm shift. It movesaway from unsustainable practices that harm communities by moving towards local self-government.
Today, policy-makers have told communities across the country that they don’t have the right to make critical decisions for themselves. They’re told they cannot say “no” to GMOs or aerial spraying. They’re told they cannot say “yes” to sustainable food or energy systems.
Through the Community Rights Movement, communities are working with CELDF to create a structure of law and government of the people, by the people, and for the people. That structure recognizes and protects the inalienable rights of natural and human communities.
