His little Himmiler:
“Let every round find its mark against the enemies of righteousness and our great nation,” Hegseth prayed to his god. “Give them wisdom in every decision, endurance for the trial ahead, unbreakable unity and overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy.”

Hitler’s Experience in the Trenches of the Great War
An obscure would-be artist named Adolf Hitler was changed forever by his horrific experiences in the German trenches of World War I.

In the months before the outbreak of World War I, 25-year-old Adolf Hitler was living the starving artist’s life in the Bavarian city of Munich, selling his paintings door-to-door and in the city’s numerous beer halls. Hitler had fled to Munich from Vienna in 1913 to avoid being drafted into the Austrian Army, which he felt allowed too many mixed bloods and different cultures into the ranks. Austrian authorities caught up with him six months before the start of the war and forced him to take a physical exam to see if he was fit to serve. Ironically, Hitler was deemed “too weak for armed or auxiliary service, unfit to bear arms.”
Hitler Enlists for the First World War
Hitler learned of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand when his landlady, Frau Popp, burst into his room in hysterics and shouted, “The Austrian heir to the throne has just been murdered!” According to Hitler, he dropped to his knees and thanked heaven for letting him be there during a time when Germany would be fighting to save itself. He then rushed out into the street to blend into the quickly gathering crowd in the Odeonsplatz. A photograph taken at the time shows a jubilant, sallow-faced Hitler in the crowd celebrating the coming war. Hitler’s life of loneliness and insignificance was about to end.
Hitler tried to enlist in the 1st Bavarian Infantry on August 5, but he was sent away because the Army had more volunteers than it needed. A fortnight later he was summoned to report to Recruiting Depot VI in Munich and enlisted as private No. 148 in the 1st Company, 16th Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment. Also enlisted in the regiment was Lieutenant Rudolf Hess, later to become deputy führer of Nazi Germany, and Sgt. Maj. Max Amann, later in charge of the Nazi press.

Throughout the rest of his life, Hitler remained proud of his military record and mentioned it frequently. He would not tolerate any opinion that might smudge his military career or personal image (real or imagined). When former comrade Hans Mend published an unflattering eyewitness account about Hitler in World War I (including a homosexual affair that Hitler allegedly had with another soldier), Mend quickly disappeared into a “reeducation” camp in 1938, never to be heard from again. Other former comrades did not talk about the Hitler they had known in World War I.
During World War I, Hitler rose from an insignificant, unknown, struggling artist to a decorated, angry veteran. During 45 months and 36 major battles, he developed the personality characteristics that later haunted the world. His regiment suffered 3,754 casualties, including several of Hitler’s friends. There is no record of Hitler ever killing a man in combat. He was more frequently remembered as a nice chap, one who wrote poetry, read, sketched, and painted in his off hours. Serving in the army gave Hitler the self-confidence he never had before. Using his newfound self-assurance, he began to rally his countrymen with the blind rage and hatred that propelled Germany and the rest of the world toward the darkest days of the 20th century. It all began with Hitler’s grueling experiences in World War I.

Easter resurrected Trump:

And so here we are, Easter 2026:

Trump’s brownshirts:

Prayers unanswered: “We are unstoppable as a military force,” Trump boasted before Iran shot down one U.S. plane and another crashed near the Strait of Hormuz.

Shit, the Oscar goes to: Trump Resorts to Propaganda Amid Crushing Failure
In an attempt to conceal the scale of the defeat, U.S. President Donald Trump resorted to social media claims, alleging the success of a “special rescue operation” for the downed pilot.

However, Iranian officials dismissed these claims as psychological warfare and deception, asserting that the reality on the ground exposes a clear and undeniable American defeat.

More resurrections on Easter Sunday:

Recently , Syrian president Ahmed al-Sharaa- a former Al Qaeda militant installed into power in Syria by the CIA, MI6, and Mossad- met with King Charles and Prime Minister Keir Starmer in the UK, causing a major backlash from critics.
But while the MI6, Al Qaeda alliance is showcased in the open, another alliance is taking place between Ahmed al-Sharaa and Israel behind the scenes over the Israeli war on Lebanon.
For context, Israel is currently carrying out ethnic cleansing in South Lebanon with the intention of permanently occupying South Lebanon up to the Litani River.
Israeli finance minister Bezalel Smotrich openly called for an Israeli annexation of Southern Lebanon, saying, “the new Israeli border must be the Litani”.
This was endorsed by Israel’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, who said that “Israeli forces would control ‘the entire area’ from the border to the Litani River after the offensive had concluded,” which “would include the demolition of entire Lebanese border towns and that hundreds of thousands of displaced residents would not be able to return.”
Katz openly called to repeat the ethnic cleansing model used in Rafah and Beit Hanoun in Gaza, saying , “all homes in Lebanese villages near the border will be destroyed — in accordance with the Rafah and Beit Hanoun model in Gaza,” in order “to remove, once and for all, the threats near the border”.

The NGO Oxfam warned that Israel is using the “Gaza playbook in Lebanon”, noting that, “Israeli forces are destroying water and sanitation infrastructure including strikes near sites that were being rehabilitated after having been destroyed or damaged in the last war” and that “Israel has also destroyed electricity networks and bridges, cutting off vital supplies and services for entire towns and villages.”
Trump’s Iran War: Worse Than Expected, But Better Than Hoped?
Many Americans now know that the US government lives for war, is owned by Israel, and is completely beholden to and integrated with the military industrial complex. Politicians and their friends brazenly demonstrate their uninhibited ability to invest on “insider” war-related information and soon-to-be announced policy. They happily trade service to constituents for re-election campaigns funded by a few generous Israel-backed donors. Confucius said, “the beginning of wisdom is to call things by their proper names.” The Chinese philosopher was right, and we the people are beginning to become wise.

Forgiveness (for not everyone, but for too many) is a shameless crutch that enables harmful acts to proliferate.
I have been a victim of crimes, and I have known criminals. I can tell you that for me, the crimes of ignorance and passion and just trying to support a family and being young and stupid are far far easier to forgive than the calculated crimes of greed and hypocrisy. Or the crime of “just doing my job.”
I’m not sure how those criminals of society justify it, beyond that Christ died for their sins.
If everything is forgivable, everything is permissible.
I wrote about that a while ago. You can read it here.

US/CIA invented the term “brainwashing” in the Korean War because they couldn’t fathom why some American POW chose to go to China rather than be repatriated to the US.
They attributed it to some secret Chinese psychological control. This gave rise to the film The Manchurian Candidate in 1959

Jesus died for our sins, they say. A review of Jesus’s sins, and his life, show he was a healer, a pilgrim, a compassionate man, and one who loathed hypocrisy. He was not a capitalist. He was not a settler. He was not wealthy. Rather, he was persecuted and killed by the settlers, the wealthy, those in power.
By those metrics, justice continues to be meted out in the same way. The innocent continue to suffer. Jesus is crucified every day.
If everything is forgivable, everything is permissible. That “everything is permissible” is everywhere today. 1 Corinthians 10:23 talks about it, easily taken out of context.

- Jesus was accused of violating Sabbath laws by performing healings on that day.
- Anger and Insults: Some interpret his anger (such as overturning tables in the Temple) and calling religious leaders “fools” or “blind” (Matthew 23) as sinful
- Disrespecting Authorities: Reddit users’ views suggest that his challenging of Pharisees was seen as arrogant by some.
- Symbolic Misconduct: Some suggest the cursing of the fig tree or sending demons into pigs (Mark 5) showed anger or destruction.

‘Jesus was God’s anointed Messiah; you have rejected him; but God raised him from the dead and he ascended to God’s right hand; one day he will come as judge; therefore repent and be saved’.
On October 25, at 3 am, the regiment entered its first battle, arriving just in time to join the German assault during the first phase of the Battle of Ypres. The regiment’s objective was to take a farmhouse and the edge of the woods beyond the house, about half a mile from the German lines. A heavy fog had risen, forcing a delay in the attack timetable while others rounded up the lost battalions. At dawn the attack began, but a few steps out the regiment came under intense fire from the right. In the fog and confusion, the regimental hats that Weidemann had complained about brought trouble. A regiment of Württemburg troops on the regiment’s right thought the Bavarians were British and opened fire, inflicting heavy casualities. Hitler and his friend Ernst Schmidt threw their caps away instantly and ran to the rear headquarters to report the situation and stop the slaughter. The first hour the regiment spent in combat, it lost many valuable men, including the regimental commander, to friendly fire.

After this incident the attack proper began, with the British dropping artillery shells into the assaulting columns. The men crawled into shallow dugouts and shell holes to escape the flying shrapnel, before racing to a small farmhouse in the middle of the field and crawling into a ditch. During this assault, Hitler’s platoon leader was killed, as were most of the noncommissioned officers. In all, it took five bloody assaults to take the edge of the forest. The final assault ended in hand-to-hand combat, and Hitler was surprised when he jumped into the British trench and made a soft landing—he had landed on a British corpse.

Amid reactions to Donald’s shocking assassination attempt, the former “Apprentice” host shared his side of the story, including describing the terrifying moment he realized he’d been hit by a bullet.
“I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin,” Donald wrote. “Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.”
A Decorated Soldier
This was the only battle in which Hitler fought as a true frontline soldier. For his bravery and soldierly conduct, the new regimental commander, Lt. Col. Philipp Engelhardt, recommended Hitler as a dispatch runner (Meldegänger) to serve at regimental headquarters. Someone also recommended Hitler and Schmidt for the Iron Cross, although neither received the decoration. Of the 3,600 men who marched out of camp with the regiment, 373 men were killed in the first three weeks of fighting. Hitler’s uncanny luck began in his first battle. At one point, a shell exploded near him; it killed another soldier, but Hitler only had a sleeve ripped away.

A few days later, Engelhardt went to inspect the British position and took Hitler and Hitler’s friend Balthasar Brandymayer with him. At the edge of a wood, Engelhardt stepped out to see the British trenches better and instantly drew fire. Hitler and Brandymayer stepped in front to protect Englehardt from harm, before dragging their commander to a nearby ditch. The next day, Hitler and several others were called to headquarters and told that they had been recommended for the Iron Cross. It was Hitler’s second nomination in two months. When four more company commanders arrived, Hitler and the others left to give the officers room. Five minutes later a British shell hit the tent, killing most of the men inside and severely wounding Engelhardt.

San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas. The main victim of the current stage of capitalism is the nation-state, which now has no decision-making capacity, stated Captain Marcos of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN).
He added that “in our opinion, we may be wrong, but the reconstruction of the nation-state is not possible because it no longer has fundamental bases.”
Marcos expressed the above during the second day of activities of the April 2026 Seedbed: The Storm Inside and Outside According to the Zapatista Communities & Peoples, which is being held in San Cristóbal with the participation of 418 people from some thirty countries, including Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, the United States, France, England, Iran and Italy, in addition to members of the EZLN.

Speaking this Friday [in discussion entitled], A Peephole into the Storm in the World: Nation-States Under Attack, he said that “the Nation-State is born for capitalism, that is, the bourgeoisie needs a State, a territory, a currency, laws, a geographical delimitation, a coat of arms, a flag. And so nation-states are born.”
In fact, he added, “in Europe, where feudalism was displaced and revolutions began to form the nation-state, that is where capitalism found its breeding ground and began to develop. It developed so much that the nation-state became an obstacle, and capitalism, the system, needed goods to circulate, to be sold quickly, and to generate the greatest profit as quickly as possible.”
He pointed out that “national currencies, the national legal structure, the governance they call it—that is, the form of government and the entire legal system—are obstacles to them. Then, free trade agreements come along, and borders open up for investments and goods but close down for human beings.”
Marcos reiterated that “the nation-state has no decision-making power. Sovereignty is a bad joke. They can’t say that Mexico is sovereign, even if they say so on the Mañanera, if it can’t even decide whether to send oil to Cuba. It can’t be. In a developed nation-state, that decision belongs to the government: to say who to give or sell to, or who not to. It’s no longer possible.”
“The entire offensive under the names of (Donald) Trump and (Benjamin) Netanyahu is related to this. Israel thinks it is defending the nation-state, but that is not true. As long as the people of israel do not understand that Palestine is the home of the Palestinians, that they will always want to return, and that they carry the key to their land with them wherever they go, until they die, are killed, or disappear, this will not stop.”
In reality, he elaborated, “Netanyahu isn’t defending the State of israel, that’s a lie. He’s conquering territory, but the Palestinians aren’t going to surrender. I don’t know how many years it will take; they’re not going to surrender. There’s something deep within the Palestinian people that I can’t explain, and I don’t know if anyone can: Why, with everything against them, do the Palestinian people continue to resist? Why are the Cuban people preparing for an invasion? If they’re supposedly under a dictatorship, why don’t they take to the streets and say: Yes, invade us and liberate us?”
He added: “Why did the U.S. military enter Venezuela to kidnap Nicolás Maduro and Cilia—it was funny how the media didn’t want to say kidnapping and said they went to arrest them—and if they [the opposition] won the elections, why didn’t anyone take to the streets to welcome them? They had to make a one-way trip. It’s not that they had almost no casualties; they didn’t have any because the U.S. military uses mercenaries for that. These mercenaries don’t exist; they’re paid, and if they’re killed, that’s it, but they’re nameless. So, the U.S. military casualties during the kidnapping in Venezuela don’t appear on the lists, and the major left-wing analysts, including those from Cuba, take it for granted that what Trump says about them having no casualties is true. They did. What happened is that they used mercenaries. Just like Putin had to use them in Ukraine. Even a country’s national army can no longer sustain a war as a nation. They have to rely on other resources.”

Marcos asserted that in the US and israel’s war against Iran, the big oil companies are the ones who benefit because the price of oil has risen. “That’s what needs to be discussed: who is profiting from these wars?”

Thirty-two years ago, thousands of Indigenous people (as many as 12,000, primarily Mayan) rose up in armed rebellion and declared war against the Mexican state. While their arms were largely makeshift weapons, the Zapatista Army of National Liberation, known as the EZLN for its Spanish initials, briefly occupied several cities, including the popular tourist destination of San Cristóbal. Although fighting lasted only about 12 days, the uprising’s impact has been long-lasting.

Intentionally timed to coincide with the implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) on January 1, 1994, the revolt elicited widespread support across Mexico and beyond. That support enabled the Zapatistas ultimately to govern an autonomous zone covering about 300,000 people in 55 municipios (counties).
Today, however, the Zapatistas face new threats. Cartels are muscling their way deeper into Chiapas, while large-scale infrastructure and mining projects are encroaching on their lands—bringing in money and the corruption that often goes along with it.
From a distance, the October 2024 swearing-in of Claudia Sheinbaum, a lifelong leftist, as Mexico’s president might appear to benefit the Zapatistas. Those close to the movement, however, are not optimistic that she will prioritize Indigenous wellbeing. Still, the Zapatistas are not giving up on their vision to create un mundo donde quepan muchos mundos—a world in which many worlds fit.

Would Jesus be a Zapatista?
“The Zapatistas touched my heart in a way that has lasted until now,” Cerullo says. “The Zapatistas have an ethical core and an openness.”
Although the EZLN had its roots in Marxist insurgencies not unlike those seen elsewhere in Latin America, the movement has never fit neatly into an ideological mold. Its communiques are known to drift into poetry. Governance is based on communal participation and consent, and seven principles of mandar obedeciendo—which literally means “obeying by following,” but is more aptly described as servant leadership.

Specifically, these principles, described in greater detail in English here, are as follows:
- To obey, not command
- To propose, not impose
- To represent, not supplant
- To convince, not conquer
- To construct, not destroy
- To serve others, not serve oneself
- To work from below, not seek to rise
