She seems to direct Ting to be on call to receive a blunt force trauma victim Epstein flew in from “the island.” It also appears that she directed Ting to be the one who got his “hands dirty” in providing clandestine care – 36 stitches in the forehead of a female, possibly minor victim flown into NYC on a private jet from over four hours away by a convicted child trafficking billionaire.

Nariman Nuhad Khurshid was a Palestinian fighter and aviator born in 1927 in Jaffa, Palestine
She was a co-founder of the women’s organization Zahrat al-Uqhuwan (The Chrysanthemum Flower). Alongside twelve women from Jaffa, Nariman helped build the organization in its early phase, which initially focused on social support and assistance to poor students before shifting decisively toward armed resistance against Zionist militias.
Within Zahrat al-Uqhuwan, Nariman played an active operational role. The organization trained its members, women and later men and foreign volunteers, in the use of firearms and machine guns, undertook nursing and medical support work, gathered intelligence, and raised funds to procure weapons.
Nariman herself, together with her sister, participated in several armed engagements with Haganah forces in and around Jaffa during the period leading up to and including the Nakba of 1948.
She remained a symbol of women’s direct participation in armed resistance until her death in Cairo on 18 February 2014.
Fannie Lou Hamer was fired and evicted in 1962 after trying to register to vote in Mississippi, despite 18 years working on the plantation as a sharecropper and timekeeper. Yet, she refused to be silenced. Her courage helped launch the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party and push forward the Voting Rights Act. Hamer’s sacrifice reminds us: the fight for equality has ALWAYS come at a cost. She risked everything so future generations could have a voice!

Icemen Cometh!
When winter gripped the Eastern Front in 1941, German soldiers learned there was something more terrifying than frostbite: the men who thrived in it. From the frozen reaches of Central Asia and the Far East came the Siberian divisions of the Red Army—warriors forged by isolation, hunger, and ice. They weren’t just soldiers. They were the embodiment of winter itself.
For months, Hitler was convinced Moscow would fall before the snow. But Stalin held back a secret weapon: tens of thousands of troops stationed near Japan. Only when Soviet intelligence confirmed Tokyo wouldn’t strike from the east did Stalin unleash his frozen battalions. Trains thundered across 9,000 kilometers, carrying men, horses, and white camouflage designed for snow-covered warfare.
By the time they arrived, the German army was broken—starved, frozen, and stretched thin. The Siberians, however, were in their element. They moved like phantoms, gliding on skis through forests, vanishing into blizzards, striking with ruthless precision. One German soldier wrote, “They’re like ghosts of ice.” It wasn’t just a counterattack—it was nature weaponized.
In December 1941, those divisions drove the Nazis 200 kilometers west of Moscow. For the first time, Hitler’s advance was halted. The myth of German invincibility shattered, and the legend of the Russian winter—along with its icemen—was born.

In 1915, at just 23, Black American chemist Alice Ball created the 1st effective cure for leprosy. It was used globally until the 1940s. After passing suddenly at 24, her advisor stole the credit for her breakthrough. Decades later, she was rightfully credited.
On June 16, 1944, George Stinney Jr., a 90-pound Black 14-year-old boy, was executed in the electric chair in Columbia, South Carolina. Three months earlier, on March 24, George and his sister were playing in their yard when two young white girls briefly approached and asked where they could find flowers. Hours later, the girls failed to return home, and a search party was organized to find them. George joined the search party and casually mentioned to a bystander that he had seen the girls earlier. The following morning, their dead bodies were found in a shallow ditch.
On April 24, George Stinney faced a sham trial virtually alone. No African Americans were allowed inside the courthouse, and his court-appointed attorney, a tax lawyer with political aspirations, failed to call a single witness. The prosecution presented the sheriff’s testimony regarding George’s alleged confession as the only evidence of his guilt. An all-white jury deliberated for 10 minutes before convicting George Stinney of murder, and the judge promptly sentenced the 14-year-old to death. Despite appeals from Black advocacy groups, Governor Olin Johnston refused to intervene. George Stinney remains the youngest person executed in the U.S. in the 20th century.
Seventy years later, a South Carolina judge held a two-day hearing, which included testimony from three of George’s surviving siblings, members of the search party, and several experts. The state argued at the hearing that—despite all the unfairness in this case—George’s conviction should stand. The trial court disagreed and vacated the conviction, finding that George Stinney was fundamentally deprived of due process throughout the proceedings against him, that the alleged confession “simply cannot be said to be known and voluntary,” that the court-appointed attorney “did little to nothing” to defend George, and that his representation was “the essence of being ineffective.” The judge concluded: “I can think of no greater injustice.”
Today, Sandra Bland would have been 39 years old.
Sandra was a civil rights activist who used her platform “Sandy Speaks” to speak truth about police violence and systemic injustice. She had just been hired as a community outreach coordinator at Prairie View A&M University, ready to serve her community and make a difference.
On July 10, 2015, Sandra was pulled over for a minor traffic violation in Prairie View, Texas. During that traffic stop, Texas state trooper Brian Encinia escalated the encounter, forcibly removed her from her vehicle, and arrested her. He claimed she assaulted him. She was charged with felony assault on a public servant and taken to Waller County jail.
Three days later, she was found dead in her jail cell. Officials ruled her death a suicide, but her family knew Sandra. They knew her spirit, her strength, and her future. They rejected that ruling. What happened to her was murder.
Sandra’s death ignited the #SayHerName movement and forced Texas to pass the Sandra Bland Act, mandating police de-escalation training and mental health protections in jails. Her name became a rallying cry for accountability.
We remember Sandra today, not as a statistic, but as a sister, an activist, and a fighter whose voice demanded justice. Her legacy lives in every protest, every reform, and every person who refuses to stay silent.
