Kirk came away fretting about Israeli “blackmail,” sources say, as he contemplated a Catholic conversion.”
On September 11, one day after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, billionaire pro-Israel moneyman Bill Ackman took to Twitter/X to trumpet his relationship with the late conservative operative. “I feel incredibly privileged to have spent a day and shared a meal with @charliekirk11 this summer. He was a giant of a man.”
In the days since the killing of Charlie Kirk, the Trump administration and its allies have unleashed a torrent of threats against the “radical left,” branding dissent as “domestic terrorism” and effectively declaring that educators, nurses and federal workers are potential enemies of the state. Corporations have joined in the purge: airline employees, teachers, journalists and other workers have been fired simply for making critical remarks about Kirk.
All of this is being done while elevating, to the stature of a national hero, an individual whose political positions were undeniably fascist. If there is any individual whom Kirk most closely resembles, in terms of persona and political tactics, it is George Lincoln Rockwell, the leader of the American Nazi Party in the 1960s. While his name has long been forgotten by the broad public, Rockwell remains a source of inspiration for the extreme right.
He created the playbook that Kirk later followed: traveling to universities—wearing a suit and tie rather than his Nazi uniform—to “debate” ideas with students and posturing as a defender of “free speech.” Rockwell, smoking an ever-present corncob pipe, presented himself as a political philosopher, thoughtful intellectual and man of ideas, unafraid to argue with his enemies. Though a savage racist, Rockwell even attended a rally of the Black Muslims in 1961. He used such media events to attract attention and recruit to his Nazi organization.
Rockwell was eventually shot to death by a disgruntled member of his own party in August 1967. Though the killing was front page news, the coverage was focused on the exposure of his politics. Flags were not lowered to half staff, and not even the right-wing senators from the South delivered eulogies for the would-be American Hitler. The president of the United States, Lyndon Johnson, took no official notice of Rockwell’s death.

On Tuesday, in a groundbreaking new report, the United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory officially concluded that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. This comes ahead of the members of the commission stepping down later this year, after announcing their resignations this summer amid the US’s escalating attacks on UN personnel.
“The Commission concludes that the State of Israel bears responsibility for the failure to prevent genocide, the commission of genocide, and the failure to punish genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip,” the report says.

.Secretary of State Marco Rubio linked the move to her support for the International Criminal Court (ICC), some of whose judges have already been sanctioned by the US.
Rubio said the US was sanctioning Albanese for directly engaging with the ICC in its efforts to prosecute American or Israeli nationals, accusing her of being unfit for service as a UN Special Rapporteur.
The sanctions are likely to prevent Albanese from travelling to the US and would block any assets she has in the country.
Albert Ponce, a professor of political science at Diablo Valley College, a community college in California, ended up on the watch list after a 2017 public lecture on white supremacy in the United States was edited down to a two-minute clip and circulated on conservative media outlets, starting with a right-wing site called Red Elephant.
“It ended up on Fox and Breitbart. Once it hit that ecosystem, it was gone,” he said. Hate mail turned into death threats against him and his family. Pictures of his family, including his then 9-year-old daughter, appeared online. He told a public radio show that he stopped letting her open the mail.
College administrators were flooded with demands that he be fired.
Now a tenured professor, Ponce said he has no intention of backing down from his scholarship, but he understands why many of his colleagues are worried that with Kirk’s death, the attacks on scholars could escalate.
“Now in this moment for what we teach, our areas of expertise, we’re all targets for these organizations that try to silence us,” Ponce said. “For anyone who touches these issues now, it’s open season.”

Sadly, there are concerning questions about the people organising the event. Choose Love and T4P Events The money raised is being channelled through a charity called Choose Love. But it has a history of being in receipt of money from Zionist foundations and also from the Rockefeller Brothers (a well known CIA pass through group). It has in the past given money to the Zionist group the New Israel Fund and to the International Rescue Committee, a group headed by the ex Foreign minister of the UK, David Miliband.
It was originally founded as a ‘covert network’ by the CIA. T4P Events, which is organising the show, is a company only created on 29 May this year. It has two directors – Anna Nolan and James Sadri. Both have been involved in an organisation called the Syria Campaign which was set up to provide propaganda cover for the White Helmets in their attempts to foster regime change in Syria from 2014.
The White Helmets were the creation of the British intelligence agency MI6 and were supported by other Western intelligence agencies. It is alleged that they were accessories to the killing of civilians in Syria as part of several managed massacres designed to frame the Assad government with fake chemical weapons attacks.
In other words the directors of T4P Events are potentially accessories to alleged war crimes against civilians in Syria. Choose Love welcomed the regime change operation led by Julani, and his ISIS-in-suits regime in 2024 as a ‘liberation’. It even funded the White Helmets to the tune of more than $500,000 to put on a show of looking for secret prisoners in Sednaya prison. Even the White Helmets admitted this was a total failure. Can we be assured that Choose Love and T4P Events have the best interests of the Palestinians in mind at Wembley tomorrow?
