The Minyan Wailing Wall White House and Minyan K-Street and Minyan Wall Street and Minyan Federal Reserve and on and on . . . . Herod was a third generation Jew, born into an aristocratic family

The Massacre (or Slaughter) of the Innocents is an incident in the Nativity narrative of the Gospel of Matthew (2:16–18) in which Herod the Great, king of Judea, orders the execution of all male children who are two years old and under in the vicinity of Bethlehem.

We could start here, at the bottom of the syphilis barrel: Dead On Arrival — all USA politicans are morticians for the Wailing Wall White House. AOC calls Genocide Joe “the most successful US president”!

But What Is The Fucking Point? This constant yammering by lefties, or by Substackers or Podcasters, it’s all a fucking a joke. These are Americans. Plain and simple. There are not too many varieties of AmeriKKKans.

Gore Vidal? Sure, major connected dude, Great United Snakes of Amnesia. But this is 2024, and when Trump or Nikki or Ron or Harris or Biden or . . . speak . . . or when ANY of them in congress or the senate or in the Minyans of K Street or Wall Street of the Wailing Wall White House Gang of Thugs speak, their subhuman qualities emerge.

Alaska Airlines flight attendants vote to authorize strike | kgw.com

Steve Maller, a flight attendant for nearly 20 years, was one of the flight attendants on the Alaska Airlines flight 1282 when a door plug blew out.

With the plane at 16,000 feet, the air pressure in the cabin plunged. Clothing and phones ripped from terrified passengers and flew out through the gaping hole. Maller helped make sure passengers were safe and breathing oxygen during the plane’s harrowing descent. For his work under pressure, he and other flight attendants on board received praise and thanks from many of the airline’s top executives, including an email from Alaska CEO Ben Minicucci. [As CEO Alaska Air Group at ALASKA AIR GROUP INC, Ben Minicucci made $6,487,981 in total compensation. Of this total $600,769 was received as a salary, $1,803,021 was received as a bonus, $842,151 was received in stock options, $3,044,242 was awarded as stock and $197,798 came from other types of compensation.]

Alaska Airlines' CEO said his company found 'some loose bolts on many' Boeing 737 MAX 9s during inspections following the January 5 mid-air cabin panel blowout that forced the emergency landing of a new Alaska jet.

[Minicucci was born in MontrealQuebec. His parents were from Casacalenda campobasso and immigrated to Montreal from Italy in the 1950s. Minicucci received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada. In 2012, he completed the advanced management program at Harvard Business School ]

“He was very complementary of the crew for our actions,” he said.

“It’s kind of a strange juxtaposition,” Maller said recently about the upcoming picket plans. “I appreciate him reaching out. That’s great. But there’s more work to do.”

Maller said he can’t speak about details of the flight because of the ongoing investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board. But he did say he’s also proud of how the flight attendants on board responded.

“What 1282 reminds us, again, is the critical importance of flight attendants,” he said. “We don’t have these types of emergencies on a regular basis. But when they happen there’s no substitute for well-trained and qualified flight attendants [who are] willing to put their safety behind the safety of the people that they’re charged to take care of. And that’s what we all did.”

He said many flight attendants, particularly veteran flight attendants like himself, have seen very little increase in pay in the last several years as negotiations between the airline and union stretched on. He said most flight attendants he knows have a second job. He’s worked as a bar tender himself at times.

“You have to have something to have livable pay, to make ends meet,” he said.

“So it’s nice to have the support [of management] in the moment. But now it’s time to show support for all of us at Alaska Airlines,” said Maller, who is a union official at his airline’s Portland base. “The fact is that every flight attendant at Alaksa would have done the same thing on that flight. And management needs to recognize that value that we bring to the operation.”

Many haven’t received a raise in years: There are 75,000 flight attendants spread between four of the nation’s five largest airlines — American, United, Southwest and Alaska — who have gone a year or more since their previous labor contracts reached their negotiated end date.

You think things go better with Al Gore, John Kerry, COP 28, Greta and those trillionaires?

Dumping chemicals in the ocean? Spraying saltwater into clouds? Injecting reflective particles into the sky?

Scientists are resorting to once unthinkable techniques to cool the planet because global efforts to check greenhouse gas emissions are failing. From a report:These geoengineering approaches were once considered taboo by scientists and regulators who feared that tinkering with the environment could have unintended consequences, but now researchers are receiving taxpayer funds and private investments to get out of the lab and test these methods outdoors. The shift reflects growing concern that efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions aren’t moving fast enough to prevent the destructive effects of heat waves, storms and floods made worse by climate change. Geoengineering isn’t a substitute for reducing emissions, according to scientists and business leaders involved in the projects. Rather, it is a way to slow climate warming in the next few years while buying time to switch to a carbon-free economy in the longer term.

Three field experiments are under way in the U.S. and overseas. This month, researchers aboard a ship off the northeastern coast of Australia near the Whitsunday Islands are spraying a briny mixture through high-pressure nozzles into the air in an attempt to brighten low-altitude clouds that form over the ocean. Scientists hope bigger, brighter clouds will reflect sunlight away from the Earth, shade the ocean surface and cool the waters around the Great Barrier Reef, where warming ocean temperatures have contributed to massive coral die-offs. The research project, known as marine cloud brightening, is led by Southern Cross University as part of the $64.55 million, or 100 million Australian dollars, Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program. The program is funded by the partnership between the Australian government’s Reef Trust and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation and includes conservation organizations and several academic institutions.

Ah, that inverted totalitarianism a la CAPITALISM:

Open research. Elizabeth Rhodes was finishing up her PhD in social work and political science and looking for jobs in 2016 when she saw a blog post from Sam Altman, then the leader of Y Combinator. He announced his plan to support a study of universal basic income, the system in which people receive unconditional monthly payments.

After seeing the post, Rhodes applied to a position leading the study and became the research director for YC Research, which was renamed OpenResearch after Altman moved to OpenAI. At the time, she knew little about Altman, Y Combinator, or Silicon Valley. Once she got the job, she learned fast.

She ran Altman’s pilot program and now oversees the full universal basic income study. For three years, the study provided 3,000 participants with either $1,000 per month or $50 a month. It recently finished providing cash transfers to recipients in two states and plans to release its first findings later this year.

The organization has remained quiet throughout its research; Rhodes has rarely done interviews. Altman is still chair of OpenResearch but has “given us total independence,” Rhodes says. (She “watched from afar” last year’s OpenAI drama.) OpenResearch is one of many side projects for the OpenAI CEO.

Altman’s interest in universal basic income is related to his work as CEO of OpenAI—if AI eliminates jobs, could guaranteed cash help workers who lose their income? In 2021, Altman said he believed AI could generate enough wealth to pay every U.S. adult $13,500 a year.

“He was definitely thinking about future labor market changes—not just what happens if robots take jobs, but also a recognition of the challenges we’re facing today with distribution of resources and opportunities across the population,” Rhodes says.
