Ahh, emblematic of America, of the Snake Oil AmeriKKKa, that is, getting the FDA on the side of Parasetic Capitalists — a buck made with the fucked up thing, Olestra!

Olestra: A Leaky History

Olestra is prohibited from sale in many markets, including the European Union and Canada. Consumption of olestra may encourage rats to eat too much of foods containing regular fats, due to the learning of an incorrect association between fat intake and calories.

The FDA approved it for use in foods in the 1990s and it’s still used in certain potato chips and french fries. But Olestra may cause extremely unpleasant digestive reactions, like diarrhea and leaky bowels.

Then we can just make the Olestra brand logo and that image of drippy anus as the new stars on the U$A Flag.

Blackface scandal returns to haunt Justin Trudeau on eve of poll

Canada’s PM Justin Trudeau has said he cannot remember how often he wore blackface as a younger man, as a scandal deepened ahead of an election.

He was speaking after more images of him wearing black make-up when he was younger emerged.

“I am wary of being definitive about this because of the recent pictures that came out, I had not remembered,” he told reporters in Winnipeg.

The revelations have rattled his campaign in a tight election race.

Canadians will go to the polls on 21 October.

So, my mother’s birth country, full of Olestra, man, cuz they voted for this piece of shit! That was 2019, the story referenced above.

And so the American population will be fed more and more Olestra, more and more gut bloating, brain sucking, vitamin killing shit will be served to us: OpenAI CEO Sam Altman says he worked so hard on building his first startup with his ex-boyfriend that he got scurvy

Here, more anal leakage, now the two brothers looking to invade Haiti!

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Kenya’s Defense Minister Aden Duale signed the accord at a meeting in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi. The agreement guides the countries’ defense relations for the next five years as the war in East Africa against the al-Qaeda linked al-Shabab extremist group intensifies.

Austin thanked Kenya for volunteering to take the leadership of the Haiti multi-national force and reiterated that the U.S government would work with Congress to secure the $100 million in funding that it pledged on the sidelines of the U.N General Assembly.

UPSIDE DOWN WORLD

2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the disastrous Iraq invasion launched by President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair. A recent study by Brown University estimated that the West’s 9/11 wars led to the deaths of at least 4.5 million people and the displacement of up to 59 million. Murray reminded “MintPress” that almost no one in power had faced consequences for their actions.

“The people who were behind the war in Iraq that resulted in deaths of literally millions of people…are walking around treated as respected political elders,” he noted, “But [whistleblower] Chelsea Manning has been in jail, and [WikiLeaks co-founder] Julian Assange is in jail for exposing war crimes…that is an astonishing blot on our society!”

Murray previously served as British Ambassador to Uzbekistan between 2002 and 2004. However, after he exposed human rights violations perpetrated by the Karimov administration in that country, he was removed from his post.

Nothing but smoke and mirrors, man, smoke and mirrors.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, but eagled-eyed social media users spotted a major blunder.

Images from the video of his speech suggest Ukrainian media edited the footage to make it appear that the audience was larger than it really was.

In fact, Zelensky can be seen sitting in the audience where he had been during the remarks made by US President Joe Biden earlier that day.

Too much information, man, the latest in the Olestra news:

“Infodemic.”

It’s when saying something is a “pandemic” is just not good enough. And, when you want to be able to target multiple policies/media/persons at the same time.

Reports are already cropping up where this made-up word, “infodemic,” is used as if it means something. No quotes around it, either – and there’s talk about “managing” the situation, the way “global policymakers” -i.e., the WHO treaty negotiators – now see it.

Opponents will say that the UN agency has simply decided to play on the element of intimidation and fear here, by featuring the phrase front-and-center in its recent initiatives.

The most prominent one at this time, of course, is the WHO’s pandemic treaty/accord. It calls for pretty much everybody – to “take action.”

Without ever really going into explaining exactly what the previous pandemic was, how it was handled (justly or not so), whence it originated, and why – the UN’s WHO (World Health Organization) is now “preparing for the next one.”
Yet this is not a board game – billions of people’s well-being and livelihoods are supposed to depend on it, going forward.

But now, let’s take the threat of “infodemic” at face value, as those peddling the word would no doubt want us to.

It is this: primarily, a call to rally governments, researchers, media organizations, and tech platforms to take “stronger” action against “the new phenomenon.”

But what is it? “Too much information, including false or misleading information in digital and physical environments during a disease outbreak.”

Say what? Thus far the target was arbitrarily designated “misinformation” – but now “too much information” is also a problem? What does – and in what world – “too much information” even mean? (Reclaim the Net)

Now, this is one Anal Story: Like similar legends such as The Promiscuous Rock Star, this tale has been applied to various public figures who are known or believed to be homosexual, and it has stuck with one in particular: Richard Gere. Although the legend homed in on various targets when it first appeared (including a Philadelphia newscaster), it has clung tenaciously to Mr. Gere’s name since at least the mid-1980s. Rumors that he had an emergency “gerbilectomy” at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in California have spread far and wide, and countless doctors and nurses claim to have participated in, been on hand during, or heard from a reliable colleague about, the procedure. (Cedars-Sinai is apparently the best-staffed hospital in the world, since literally thousands of different doctors and nurses claim to have been on duty at the time Mr. Gere was allegedly brought in for treatment.)

Gere has been devoted to Buddhism for four decades and is a friend of the Dalai Lama (at the Bender Arena on the campus of American University on June 13, 2016 in Washington, DC)

The Dalai and Gere:

Despite his frequent claims of peace, the Dalai Lama knew much more about the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)’s support of Tibetan secessionists in the 1950s and 1960s than he admitted, Germany’s Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper reported recently.

A report titled “Seemingly Sacred,” which shed light on the relationship between the Dalai Lama and the CIA, said a shadow of violence falls on the divine king.

The report said an emissary of the Dalai Lama first contacted the US through its embassy in New Delhi and consulate in Calcutta in 1951, and both sides discussed US military and financial aid to Tibetan separatists. One of the Dalai Lama’s elder brothers also attended the meetings.

In the same year the US Defense Department gave the Dalai Lama a letter, in which “light weapons” and “financial aid” were promised to the Tibetan separatist movement, it said.

The Dalai Lama also received 180,000 US dollars a year from the CIA, which was described as “monetary aid for the Dalai Lama” in confidential documents.

The report said the CIA launched “St. Circus Operation” in 1956, which trained Tibetan guerrillas on a South-Pacific island to kill, shoot, lay mines and make bombs.

The CIA also made air drops that provided the guerrillas with machine weapons, ammunition, medicine, and propaganda materials, among others, it said.

According to the newspaper, “The Dalai Lama clearly stood closer to the CIA and knew significantly more than he let on.”

Though the Dalai Lama had always claimed that he only came to know the operations afterwards, it should be no later than 1958 when he was aware of the paramilitary training given by the CIA that was closely linked to poison, killing and other violent acts, it said.

The report said a US movie director, Lisa Cathey, had conducted more than 30 interviews in her shooting of a documentary, CIA in Tibet.

One of those interviewed was a retired CIA agent named John Kenneth Knaus, who was in charge of CIA operations in Tibet and had preserved documents that recorded the training.

The Dalai Lama had met with Knaus twice, once in 1964 and again in the 1990s.

The Dalai Lama apparently hasn’t been honest on whether he knew the CIA’s support to the Tibetan separation, the paper said. Now that with more truth on the Dalai Lama’s relationship with the CIA revealed, a shadow of violence falls on the divine king, it added.

The report called the Dalai Lama “a chess piece of the CIA during the Cold War” and his direct CIA connection does not match his “supreme moral authority.”

One interview that Valentine said made him nauseous was one he conducted with Thomas G. Clines, a CIA adviser to Vang Pao, who bragged about overseeing Phoenix-style operations in Cuba where anti-Castro commandos trained by the CIA used blowtorches to burn the faces off Communist mayors and cadres in rural Cuban villages.

Valentine was also sickened by interviews he conducted with “All-America war criminals” Theodore Shackley, the CIA Station Chief in Laos in the mid 1960s, who had a photo on the wall of his Alexandria, Virginia, office of the CIA’s secret Long Tieng base; and with Richard Secord, a key figure in the Iran-Contra affair, who had overseen the air war over Laos that killed thousands of rice farmers on the Plain of Jars and the 1972 Christmas bombing over North Vietnam that resulted in thousands more civilian deaths.

As Douglas Valentine writes in his brilliant book, The Phoenix Program,

The My Lai massacre was a result of Phoenix, the ‘jerry-built’ counter-terror program that provided an outlet for the repressed fears and anger of the psyched-up men of Task Force Barker. Under the aegis of neutralizing the infrastructure, old men, women and children became the enemy. Phoenix made it as easy to shoot a Vietnamese child as it was to shoot a sparrow in a tree. The ammunition was faulty intelligence provided by secret agents harboring grudges – in violation of the agreement that Census Grievance intelligence would not be provided to the police. The trigger was the blacklist.
